    They are extremely good, I highly recommend them. I use them several times a year. I have recommended them to several people and they have all been pleased. They have done things that have been simple jobs and they haven't even charged me for it. It's one of the few around that still act like professionals. Everything that they do is really outstanding. This is one company that I am more than happy to recommend.

    Great customer service! Just purchased four new tires with road side hazardous warranty and I also purchased a lifetime : balance & alignment packages. Engine oil and filter replacement was also purchased along with a complete flushing out of my power steering fluid system. Soleman A. is the service manager to see at Pep Boys in Paterson, NJ. (The other service managers are friendly and helpful as well but Soleman is "The Man" to see at this location.) Please note: I've come to this location for car maintenance and repairs and never had a problem with their service and work. I believe their pricing is inline or less that with other car repair shops both private and at other large chain auto repair service centers. They are also much lower in cost as compared to O.E.M. car dealerships.

    Needed my oil changed, fluids checked and muffler replaced and had to return my car for a second day since they told me they had to send it out to another shop for the muffler. I was charged $514 in total, but my real problem was that within 3 days there was considerable rattling from the shoddy muffler workmanship - I would have thought that there would be at least a modicum of quality control and responsible attention to detail but neither was witnessed by me.

    He was very kind enough to work on my car, It was noticeable. They didn't ignore me like the previous mechanic. They do good work, they did it in one day. When i went to go pay him, he had cleaned the car and made it look shiney. He made sure everything i mentioned was done. He makes sure they work hard. I trust them, i offered them lunch but they refused to use my card.

    Overall a good job by Antonio. He was punctual and professional. He was able to get most of the scratches out of the exterior and it looks great. He cleaned the interior as well as steam cleaned the upholstery and carpets. Nice job overall on the interior, but would have liked a bit more detail to places like the door jams. But with that said, I would use his service again. Prices and service were very good and he was a pleasure to deal with. I do recommend!

    Neal was responsive and treated me wonderfully. Being obviously out of the area (license plates are a dead giveaway) I was concerned of being overcharged. Neal addressed the issue and fixed the problem quickly. So far the repair has worked well, will know better in a few days. The price paid was less than I had hoped for and the professional treatment was unexpected but greatly appreciated.

    Chip is a nice guy. I was referred here by the owners of the company I work for. They have a very clean shop(actually one of the cleanest I have seen). I dropped my truck off around 8:15 in about an hour or less he called me to give me the price and what needed to be done, he explained thoroughly how these days brake pads are made better and sometimes can out last the rotors, as in my case I had just over 40,000 miles and needed new rotors and pads. My truck was done at 3:00. They also rotated my tires for me. I will definitely use them again since they are literally 2mins from my job, and are nice and seem to be honest and knowledgeable.

    At first, Toyota Universe told me I needed a new engine, then tried to sell me one with 6,000 more miles on it than mine.  When I declined, they did a second diagnosis and "fixed" the problem, for $1,391.00.  Those "repairs" did NOT fix the problem, plus they left the cap off the oil tank, so that I had to go back and wait 2.5 hours while they did that.  All this took several weeks and abut 10 hours of my time wasted in their waiting room.  The problem kept getting worse, to the point that I was afraid to drive the car at all.  I finally went to Crestmont Toyota, where they confirmed that the car was too dangerous to drive.  Crestmont diagnosed the problem in under an hour, and fixed it within 3 days, for less money.  That included ordering parts, since I have a 1994 stick shift.  I want my money back from Toyota Universe. I wrote them a letter on November 3 2015 asking for a refund.  A month later a Mr. Stump called and on December 12th I and told me he would call to make an appointment to "see if we could come to an agreement".  He did not call.  On January 16th I sent him another letter asking for a refund by January 22nd.  I am considering legal action.

    There is no scheduling. You can just drive in. If you need to wait, the wait time is not much long. I am not going here any longer because I found another branch of them close by. They have discounts and the staff there are very good. I would definitely recommend them for sure.

    They are my dealer. I had some problems and it was taken care off. They are very good. I go to them once every 3 months. I call up and set appointments and when I go there, they take me in right away. Staff is very good. It is a very good place to go and they treat you well.
