AMagnolia Home Remodeling GroupWe worked with Chris from Magnolia on a second floor remodel and were extremely happy with the process and results. The reno included demolition, framing for new roofline and dormers, roof and gutters, siding, new master bathroom, master closet, laundry space, wood floor and stairs, doors, millwork, tiling, masonry for a chimney extension, windows, and central air system. Chris is a great guy, very easy to work with it, trustworthy, and responsive. He hires skilled subcontractors and kept the reno moving at a good pace. There were no surprises with either the budget or scope of work. Magnolia made our dreams come true with this reno and we would definitely recommend them for your job.- Beth H.

AUniverse Home ServicesSince this was an emergency (we were concerned that the pipe might crack with no support) we went with Universe as that was the first company we contacted. The service manager (Tommy) sent over a tech (Nick) within 2 hours. Nick proceeded to remove 20ft of old pipe and replaced with new PVC and new support straps. The job took about 5 hours including the assessment and cleanup. The service was performed very professionally. We did pay $2,700, which we feel was a quite high for 5 hours of work. But, since we didn't get competing bids we can't complain.- Richard L.

AChoice Home WarrantyExcellent, Young Water & Sewer did the work & knew what was wrong right away. He was very efficient & thorough. He had his mask, gloves & shoes covered. What I thought was going to be an expensive visit turned into a simple fix. It was a part in the toilet that had to be replaced & that was causing the pressure in the pipes making them shake.- JENNIFER H.

AJBL HOME IMPROVEMENTS INCThis is our second time using JBL home improvement. Dave and the JBL crew are excellent people to work with. They started work right away and Dave kept us informed of possible delays with furnishings due to the Pandemic. He always followed up with the cabinet and granite manufacturers and kept us informed of their progress. The crew was excellent and clean. Everyday they left all work areas clean. BThe sinks are draining well. The stopper is fixed. The toilet was unclogged, but got clogged again the next day. Had to pour Ajax, and let it sit overnight to unclog the toilet again. That is the reason I have given a B, rather than an A

AWe had a great experience working with TJB plumbing. We engaged Tom to install four new bathroom vanity tops and plumbing fixtures. Since all the old hot and cold shutoffs were corroded and did not close properly, he first replaced all of them as well as the ones for the toilets. This work was done expeditiously, since he tried to minimize the time we would be without water. He then was sensitive to the schedules of the people delivering the vanity tops, waiting nearby to make sure he would be there when they arrived, making sure that they would not be inconvenienced while he installed the fixtures, and that we would have our new sinks in working order as soon as possible. A few years ago, Tom replaced our leaking water heater. In the process he relocated the gas line so that we would be able to install a utility sink in the future, which otherwise would not have fit and which others probably would not have thought to do. We highly recommend Tom’s excellent work.

AThey answered the call right away and were at my door within the hour. On the phone I described the problem and he told me what to do in the meantime to slow or stop the leak until he arrived. The work was clean and quick and solved the problem. He had a reasonable minimum charge for the service call and only charged me extra for the valve he had to replace. I will call him again next time I have a problem.

ARalph and Peter did an amazing job!!! They were very professional, followed COVID safety protocols, cleaned up after themselves, and performed excellent craftsmanship. They took the time to explain in words we could understand what the issues were and how they would fix them. They even connected us with other contractors when they found mold growing behind the walls and determined it was a serious issue beyond their scope of work that needed to be resolved immediately. Absolutely outstanding work and will definitely hire again for assistance with plumbing repairs and remodeling!
