Although we had made our home more functional, the space and grounds surrounding our home looked tired and uninviting. So we called Craig to help us. My wife said, "I want something beautiful to look at with a special seating area at the foot of our yard". Those were the only instructions. Craig transformed our property into something very special for us; adding beautiful landscape, accent lighting and a unique seating area that we intend to use for a quiet space and fire pit entertaining. ACHATHAM IRRIGATIONHighly recommended. Kevin and his crew at Chatham Irrigation installed a brand new, automatic in-ground sprinkler system for me with 6 zones using all Hunter products (heads, valves, controller). He installed a smart WiFi Hunter Pro-HC controller that I can control using my phone or computer. The work was done in less than one day, and the guys who did the work were very respectable of my property. They explained everything to me and did not leave until I was satisfied. Kevin oversaw everything, and he came first thing in the morning, checked up twice midday, and finally came back late afternoon when everyone was gone to make sure I was happy, understood everything, and to ask any questions. I will be using them for all my winterization and opening needs. Vickie, Kevin’s wife, always answers the phone and always calls back if I leave a message. They are very responsive, which is what I am looking for when I hire a company to do work at my house. Thank you Chatham, and great work! I am looking forward to the next few seasons to get my lawn lush and green, and having a quality sprinkler system will help me get there!- Ron K.

CWhen I called them to book, I let them know that I had another lawn person who was unresponsive and stopped showing up. I explained that we need a leaf clean up and cut and then maybe up to two cuts after, because we were putting our house on the market, but when we move to our new house I would consider using them too. I was assured when booked that they didn't work like that they didn't work like that, and that they would get back to me. The initial leaf clean and lawn cut went well. Lawn looked nice and they stayed late to finish the job, however, one of the workers was on the phone a lot and standing by the truck while the other was working. I tipped them in addition to the price for the leaf clean up and cut job, which was not cheap. A comment was made of tip amounts that were given by other clients for their good service. It felt awkward, but, I was trying to figure out if this was going to be a good working business/client relationship, so I let it go. Called & texted them to schedule the lawn cutting after. They said they would be there the next week. Friday of that week came along with no visits and I wanted to let them know that we were having an open house on that Sunday and would appreciate if they could come before that. They texted me that they would try to get to me late afternoon that day. After that, they never came. They never responded to my texts, even when I texted again to ask if they would please let me know if I have to find someone else to do the lawn upkeep, no response.

AChris and crew did a fantastic job with regrading the yard, sodding, pavers and inground sprinkler system. We were looking for a one stop shop and found it with Gold Coast Pavers. Chris was very patient and made sure all our concerns were addressed which was much appreciated. You can tell he truly cares about his business and customer service as he was always reachable if needed. The guys they use are also very hard workers and got the job done fast. I would totally recommend them and use them for my next job!

FSpoke to Phil to set up a time for an estimate. We received the estimate and after a few days thinking about it, we decided to book Phil. I spoke to him and he told me he would be available Tuesday 5/9/17. On May 9th, no show no call. I waited and waited then reached out to Phil. He had no recollection of who I was. I reminded him and he looked me up via my address. He tells me oh, it's next Tuesday May 16th. I said fine, not a problem, see you next Tuesday. Week goes by, Monday the 15th. I decided to call Phil to touch base with him and confirm our appt for tomorrow the 16th. Once again he has no idea who I am, I remind him and he looks me up. He tells me it's impossible for him to remember considering he speaks to 100 people a day. I explain to him our previous conversations and how important it is for us to have the zones added considering the landscaper is already pushed back. He tells me he will call me back in an hour or to but not to worry. No call back, I do not hear from him. I decided to give him a chance to show up tomorrow. May 16th Tuesday. I take off from work. I waited like a fool. Once again Phil doesn't show up, doesn't call. Completely unprofessional. I do not recommend crossisland irrigation. He might do decent work if you can get him to show up. Who knows? His customer service is atrocious and I wouldn't want another Angie's list consumer to have there time wasted. Stay away from cross island irrigation in Lindenhurst unless you like to have your time wasted.
