    I installed my poor man sprinkler system in the front yard when I purchased my house back in 1985. I used PVC pipe and a battery-operated timer which took me 2 weekends to install. Over the last few years I have spent countless hours repairing my aging sprinkler system. It was time for me to replace it since I also wanted the side backward automated too. I researched a few lawn sprinkler companies in my area. ���Pacific Lawn Sprinkler��� had great reviews, not only for installations, but for service too. I setup an appointment for a quote. The representative arrived on time, surveyed the property and provided me a quote the same day. It was decided that there were to be 6 zones, 2 in the front yard, 2 in the backyard, 1 on the side yard and 1 for the flowerbed by the pool. We agreed the best time for the installation would be mid-July. My setup also required 2 anti-siphon backflow valves since there was not an easy way to get the water from the front yard to the backyard & pool areas. I was skeptical when I was told the whole job would be completed in one day. I felt that there were a lot of zones, sprinkler heads and 2 anti-siphon valves to deal with. Five workers showed up first thing in the morning on the scheduled installation day and immediately started working. They were both friendly and professional. I could tell that the team worked well together and that they knew exactly what they were doing. As promised, and to my amazement, they completed the job before the end of the day. I was told how the system controller was currently configured and how to modify the settings if I needed to. They also tested each zone, one at a time, to make sure I was happy with the coverages for the lawns and flowerbed. I was completely satisfied with the work that was performed. I plan on using them for the Spring startup, Fall shutdown and any possible future maintenance needs. They delivered exactly what they promised and completed it in 1 day as they said they would. I would recommend ���Pacific Lawn Sprinkler��� for any of your lawn irrigation needs. I now own a state of the art sprinkler system and feel that this was one of the best decisions that I have ever made.

    In 2014 they did well, no problems all season. 

    In 2015 they were just awful!  They started up the system in May and that was ok - (paid only $18.80 for a nozzle and to fix a leak since was on contract there was no service call charge)...and they came in June, to replace a rotor head and also needed to replace the backflow unit as they stated it was old and needed to be replaced (paid $631.81 - included a service charge since contract only included one service call)

     Then on July 2, they came to replace some broken fittings (zone 4) and a mist head (zone 3) and stated there were many leaks to be repaired (zone 3 (paid $252.74 which also included a service charge).  Then they came back to raise a mist head by shrubs (zone 1) that were growing too tall and blocking the spray (paid $86.03 included another service charge).

    Then they came back to replace a solenoid (zone 3) and unclog 2 mist heads (zone 3) (paid $121.67 included another service charge).  When I paid for the zone 3 problems, I sent a note informing them:  "2 guys came here on 7/2 @ 7 p.m. and made repairs to zone #3.  I couldn't use zone #3 @ 10 a.m. on 7/3 - - when someone came to fix zone #3 and replace the solenoid, he found 2 clogged mist heads on zone 3 which should have been repaired on 7/2 when repairs were made on that zone - I shouldn't have had to pay a service charge twice."

    11/2/15 someone came to winterize the entire sprinkler system (no charge - part of contract).

    1/28/2016  I noticed (and took pictures) the gold cover of back flow unit pushed off by formation of a few inches of ice - if winterized properly, this shouldn't have happened!

    It went very well. This is our 3rd year with R&S. The gentleman that came at 8, realized the line was frozen (since I foolishly waited too long), and came back in the afternoon when the sun came out and thawed the line. Such a nice man. Also used them fro shrub trimming outside of Angies List. Excellent Service.

    I had sprinkler lines blown out by another company previously which went fine.  Figured I'd try someone new for this simple service.   NOTE: I've done plenty of landscaping & have dug up, relocated & replaced all of my own sprinkler heads without issue so this is not rocket science.   
    The company responded immediately to my request for winterizing the lines.  Thought I'd have to wait a couple weeks for appt, instead they came the following Saturday, EXACTLY when they promised.  They had the truck, line, compressor etc. everything they needed.  
    I agree with other reviews questioning the service & tactics concerning inflated fees.  The owner was all about himself & the money, I just wasn't happy with the service for several reasons:
    1) While they scheduled me quickly, Owner and young apprentice were in an extreme rush.  If they spent 15 mins at my property that would have been a lot. They cleared the water out of (4) zones but didn't even wait for the water spray to dissipate in any of the zones.  The minute you could hear some minor air the spray barely went to a medium mist they switched zones.  Owner handled the interior panel to control zones and spoke to young kid on phone handling the pressure hose.  I asked the young guy  if they were going to run through a second time and if not to please run it for longer.  He said no, it was fine.  Maybe it is, maybe it's not.  I've watched numerous companies clear my lines & my neighbors lines, NO ONE left that much water in the lines and was in/out in 15 minutes.  If I had known they were in that much of a rush, I would have scheduled an appointment later in the season.  
    2) Owner said he remembered servicing this house a long time ago before in his words " the previous crazy owner" stopped using his service.  While talking to me he placed his sticker over a competitor's on my wall and rudely/angrily ripped another sticker off my wall??
    3) Owner charged $10-$12 or so (+tax) MORE than his office quoted when I scheduled.  Ok, no big deal, I didn't complain and paid it.  Just wanted him out of my house and knew I'd go with someone else next year.   His last statement upon leaving was cocky and an attempt to get more business.  He said something to the tune of, "Looks like you could use some landscaping next year, you'll need me.  Give me a call."
    No, I don't.  Good luck with your business.

    Needed a quick appointment since I knew some heads were broken.  I called Noel and he was able to fit me in early the next week.  That was great service...!!!   Rudy came to perform the work (with a helper).  We walked around the 6 zones and determined what heads were broken.  Rudy replaced them and checked the entire system.  Everything worked out great.   I will use them for future repairs and winterizing.

    Service itself was OK.
    What I am unhappy about was the punctuality and the response I received when I complained to the manager.
    I had made the appointment weeks in advance and made sure that I am the first appointment at 8am for the day as I need to go to work right after.
    However, on the day of the appointment, the technician did not arrive until past10am only after I made several phone calls to the office. According to the technician, I was 3rd in the list.
    According to a manager I complained to, there was an emergency.  If there was indeed an emergency, I would have appreciated a phone call indicating such so that I could have made other arrangements at work.  
    I asked for some kind of adjustment on the labor charges to compensate for my time but I found the manager I spoke with to be un-responsive and indifferent.
    I have been using Corner-to-Corner regularly before, but now I have swtiched to another provider.
