    I have been trying to get an electrician to my house since February- no one would come over. Finally, after a wonderful experience getting my house power washed, I was informed that Mr. Handy performs other services. After an hour, the worker had my lights on and the timer ready to go. I can't thank them enough. If you are having problems getting contractors to your house, call Mr. Handy- they'll answer the phone, show up and do the work. Thanks Mr. Handy!

    They installed a Nest Thermo for me and did a nice job installing and also he explained everything to me. They cleaned up after and spackled the wall as well. The next day they called me to see if everything was working as intended. Definitely a re-hire when opportunity presents itself.

    I came home from a weekend away to a cold house. No heat, no hot water, no stove. Most of the electrical outlets in my house were not operating at full power. I called several electricians. Kevin was the first to respond. Once I described the problem, he advised me that it seemed like it was a problem with the electrical service coming into the house. He told me to call the Electric Company and report it. I tried to report it with PECO but because it was not a total outage and there were no outages in my area they said I needed to call an electrician. I called Kevin back and explained the situation. He told me what I needed to say to PECO to get them to come out and check my service. I did what he advised and PECO came out right away and determined that it was, in fact, trouble with their power line coming into my house. Kevin called back again later in the day to check on the situation. He saved me the cost of a service call and was very gracious in helping me get to the root of the problem. I will definitely call him for any future electrical work.

    Easy to deal with. Had fans delivered to their location. They installed and later came back to trouble shoot one of the fans because it was making a rubbing noise. Turned out to be a manufacture issue.

    We had an amazing experience with Mr. Handy! We own a home at the Jersey Shore which our family enjoys immensely throughout the year. During the summer season however, we rent out our home in order to supplement the cost maintaining another home.  Every couple of years we do our best to improve our beach house. This year, we decided it was time to update our kitchen and get rid of the older style carpets that ran through out the living room and up into the hallway area.  My wife and I had used a general contractor in the past, but we were not satisfied with their work.  We were looking for a new company to work with when we heard a commercial on one of the local radio stations advertising for general contracting needs.  It was Mr. Handy.  We didn?t waste much time calling.  The first time we called, and every time we called after that, we were able to talk to a representative at the company! It was nice to not have to talk to a machine or wait days to hear back!  We were so impressed by the commercial and phone call, we quickly set up a date and time for a meeting. 

    At our meeting, we got to meet the owner of the company and several of his licensed professionals.  They were all very friendly, clean, and professional.  We wasted no time as we explained what we wanted done.  Mr. Handy and his team, all listened intently and worked with me so that I understood exactly what it is that they would be doing to help my wife and I improve our home. We wanted to update our kitchen by having new cabinets installed, replace the sink, install new countertops, and replace the appliances.  We also wanted a back splash installed.  We were also interested in having the old carpets torn out and replace with hardwood floors. To finish it all off we also had Mr. Handy repair and paint all of the walls and ceilings and install bead board going the length of the hallway and down the stairs into the living room.

    Once the work got started, it became very clear that Mr. Handy and team was very clean.  They kept a very clean work space as the continued to dismantle my old kitchen and tear out my old carpet.   Mr. Handy can literally do it all as I would find out.  Mr. Handy and team took care of every aspect.  I never had to make a bunch of phone calls to various different places to get different things done.  Mr. Handy took care of everything from beginning to end. 

    My experience with Mr. Handy went so well, my wife and I are looking forward to working with them in the future.  They provided, efficient, clean, and comprehensive service.  Our new kitchen and Common room look magnificent and has brought more value to our beach house!

    The guys did a great job! They installed the two attic outlets during the hottest weekend in the summer and our attic is not climate controlled by any stretch! For the bathroom fan and vent, they suggested an all in one fan and vent instead of cutting a second hole in the ceiling which i really appreciated! This made it necessary for them to come back another day since they needed to pick up the right size light/vent. Ref The replacement vanity light they called me to let me know that they would have to punch a hole in the drywall to do the wiring properly and that I would need to paint. They didn't just go ahead and do it which i also appreciated! Very professional. They discussed various options for venting the bathroom fan since i did not want them to punch another hole in our brand new roof. They did this without grumbling. Both the receptionist and the electricians' communication was stellar as they kept me posted on what was happening. Both times they came i was out of town and i felt comfortable leaving them alone in my home. The improvements they made to our home made it more functional, safer and more beautiful. I trust and highly recommend Wire Wiz.

    The quality of their work was outstanding and the finished product is just beautiful!  However, the process itself was simply painful ? Dan Bowen?s communication (or lack thereof) was terrible, not to mention the numerous unexpected added charges.  From the beginning we had delays in the project due to his lack of communication ? he failed to properly explain or
    coordinate the architecture plans which would be required to obtain the permit for the project, yet he instructed his team to demolish our existing deck.  So we literally were stuck for a period of weeks with no access to our property and no permit to complete the project (luckily it is our second property, but we use it regularly!).
    Once we got through that period and obtained the permit, the construction went fairly smoothly.  We went down to our property to check out the work when construction completed, only to find that our cable line had been cut by someone on his crew, so we had no TV service.  Also, we found a failed inspection report, and multiple small areas which needed to be touched up.  All of this was completely unexpected to us as no one on his team had followed up to see if we had passed inspection.  We had to have an independent electrician come out to re-wire our cable service.
    Dan did address the failed inspection report as well as the other punch list items, and he did reimburse me for the Electrician and Cable company charges.  However, he sent the final bill before these items were all addressed, and he also sent a Change Order totaling over $3K, which was completely unexpected as once again, he had not communicated any of the changes to us during the project when they were occurring.  His contract even states that any changes would be communicated and approval sought BEFORE they are completed.  I recognized that the changes made were necessary and required, even though he failed to communicate them, and so we negotiated the prices and did pay a portion of the Change Order.
    I was certainly disappointed by the communication problems which occurred during this project, as I chose Dan due to his company?s exceptional reviews online.  Fortunately we have a fabulous new deck and all of the issues are now resolved.

    There were some delays caused by the Ocean City code requirements and the Atlantic City Electric process, but Ocean Solar handled all in a professional way without my needing to bug them about anything. Their schedule was ambitious, but I attribute all delays to outside forces for which they had no control. They were on top of everything from top to bottom.
    The system is saving even more than Ocean Solar had projected and I expect it to be fully paid for within five years easily. Then we will be making a profit!
