    Conqueror's Remodeling
As a first home owner in Oak Ridge, New Jersey, never could I have gone through this renovation on my own and have it turn out like this. My kitchen was one of the first kitchens Conquerors renovated and they did a great job, adapting the design and combination of materials to fit my design aesthetic. Going through the design process and decisions digitally / based on images was a little difficult for me but Conquerors new showroom will resolve that issue! I am convinced Conquerors will take over a healthy chunk of the home renovation industry and make incredible strides in the next few years. You get to be involved in the fun and exciting aspects of renovating a home minus the questions marks and headaches!

Excellent work by an experienced technician. Because the new toilet did not fit properly on the existing base, a new flange and piping had to be installed. Due to the extensive work, the cost was more than I anticipated, but I'm pleased with the finished product.

On schedule with no hassles. They went above and beyond to keep the house dust free. Even put plastic on the floors and steps (bathroom was on the second floor) and cleaned the plastic each night with wipes. Left practically no mess each day!

    Vinci Home Improvements
This company was excellent! The one thing I stated from the beginning is that I own my own business so I am on time constraints, he was very respectful of that and was ALWAYS there when he said he would be. He's responsible and very trustworthy, I felt comfortable leaving the crew in my home and I never do that. He was fairly priced for the great quality, he was very neat and organized, and he cleaned up at the end of every day. He is a great communicator, very well spoken, and his knowledge blew me away. I have already recommended them to my friends and family. This whole project was so refreshing start to finish; and speaking of finish, he finished in the time he allotted. I can't imagine anyone not being happy with this company.

Project goals were met, timelines extended somewhat due to lack of help (but not much). The contractor is pretty much a one man show, with daughter helping him when possible. He is looking for good help, but I guess it's hard to find.
On the Quality portion of the review, I was torn between giving a C instead of a B. I decided on the B because except for the little details (i.e. corner cuts on woods, filling of joints and nail holes, and a few high tiles here and there (which he did replace), overall the final product was pretty good if you looked at the overall project....just needed to bring some of these things up to his attention to get fixed. In general, the kitchen did come out stunning, although we did the design and provided all of the materials for the most part, except sheet rock, construction lumber, consumables and that sort of thing.
In general, their attitude is good, they try to do the right thing by the customer, and their pricing is excellent.
I was a little worried based on the amount of work that had to be done for the price I received, but at the end of the day, 95% of what he said he would do got done satisfactorily.  Only item I suggested he sub out in the future was sheetrock and spackle work, which is not his strong point, and he lost a lot of time there in the schedule trying to get that part of the job right.

    Cabinets Direct USA
On time delivery and followed up to see if we had any problems or questions.  Rick even reduced the price when he found out my wife was a teacher and qualified for a discount.  We did the installation ourselves so we cannot evaluate their installation service.  We would not hesitate to use Cabinets Direct again in the future.

    Bath Fitter - BFU340
My wife and I had a pleasant experience with Bath Fitter.
Peter, the estimator, came on time and gave us the low-down.  After showing us all our options, we selected what we wanted - no pressure at all.
Terrance, the installer, arrived at 9am on the day of the scheduled appointment.  He came in, gave us the run-down of what he needed from us (which was nothing) and immediately went to work.   He was able to finish the job and I was signing the paperwork by 5pm.
As guaranteed, 1 day service and the job looks great.
    Thank you!

They were courteous, punctual, and highly professional.  The area in my home on which they walked was carefully covered to protect it from dust and footprints. The work area was left spotless.  Workmanship was excellent.  I highly recommend V.Polishchyk Inc!

    Reliable Installations & Renovations, LLC
The whole experience was such a mixed bag. The initial work that the company did was great. They got busy as soon as we did the demo and worked pretty consistently for about a month and a half. Their workers and their subcontractors were all pleasant and they seemed to work very hard. The difficulties we experienced began about 2 months into the project. I have to concur with a few of the other reviews in this list in that there is never an actual supervisor on site and the lack of communication was appalling. There were times we waited days for them to return a call and other times we got an immediate call. When you are living in a disaster like not having a kitchen and you are cooking out of a microwave and washing dishes in a tub, it becomes very frustrating when they won't return your calls right away. We sat around here for weeks with no one coming to finish the work. A lot of it was due to the problems they were experiencing with the electrician at the time. The owner, by the end of August, did finally contact me to express his displeasure with this electrician and how he wouldn't be using him for new projects in the future. He even had her cleaning lady and clean my house. I was appeased for the time being. A few months after the project was finished we began having difficulty with the electric. Even though nothing was plugged in, by the end of some days, when we would return home from work, the gfi switch would be tripped. If you banged on the wall, it would reset. (Doesn't sound very safe, does it?) We contacted Reliable and we were told that they were having difficulty scheduling an electrician because so many of them were still working on Sandy disasters. So, we tried to wait patiently for a few more months. This past spring, we attempted to push the issue again because the the gfi was tripping more and more often. My husband ascertained through process of elimination that one of the lines behind the wall must have been split when the cabinets were nailed into the wall, which is why it would reset when he hit the wall. We finally set up an appointment with their new electrician and I took off from work again. On that day, the electric was working, of course, and the electrician that came tightened some connections, but didn't seem to believe the difficulty we were having. The next day, the electric was out again. We attempted to contact Reliable again, but we asked if they could please send someone on a Saturday because we couldn't take off from work again and I was starting to worry that this was a fire hazard. No response from them, I sent them one final email and told them we would be hiring someone ourselves to fix the problem if they didn't respond and I would be writing a review on this list. We have never heard them again. Subsequently, we hired our own electrician who ascertained that the problem was exactly what we thought it was and he ran a new line down the wall from the attic. It cost us another $475. The whole thing is a shame because the kitchen is beautiful but because they accept too many jobs at once, have inconsistent communications, and wouldn't do the right thing and fix our electric, it has left us with a bad taste in our mouths.
