Ben couldn't have been nicer or more professional.  I not only needed a double parking area installed in the front of my house, but also required was dismantling of the previous very shoddy job my handyman had done months ago.  The pavers had slipped and were cracking and sliding all over the place.  Ben saved me money by salvaging as many of my old pavers as he could, and made up for the difference in number by placing a beautiful contrasting border around the existing pavers, which also enlarged the area to fit two automobiles instead of one.  The job took two days.  The work crew were wonderful: pleasant, fast and precise.  Ben was present each day to oversee his crew.  He even used the loosened fill to even out a depressed area in my yard where an old underground oil tank had been removed.  He smoothed the spot perfectly and it is now ready for grass seed!  The entire process was neat and worry-free for me, thanks to Ben, and at a reasonable price.  I will definitely use BVL Property Restoration again.  I highly recommend this company.

Project goals were met, timelines extended somewhat due to lack of help (but not much). The contractor is pretty much a one man show, with daughter helping him when possible. He is looking for good help, but I guess it's hard to find.
On the Quality portion of the review, I was torn between giving a C instead of a B. I decided on the B because except for the little details (i.e. corner cuts on woods, filling of joints and nail holes, and a few high tiles here and there (which he did replace), overall the final product was pretty good if you looked at the overall project....just needed to bring some of these things up to his attention to get fixed. In general, the kitchen did come out stunning, although we did the design and provided all of the materials for the most part, except sheet rock, construction lumber, consumables and that sort of thing.
In general, their attitude is good, they try to do the right thing by the customer, and their pricing is excellent.
I was a little worried based on the amount of work that had to be done for the price I received, but at the end of the day, 95% of what he said he would do got done satisfactorily.  Only item I suggested he sub out in the future was sheetrock and spackle work, which is not his strong point, and he lost a lot of time there in the schedule trying to get that part of the job right.

He was supposed to repair shed roof over kitchen and said we needed to replace two small skylites. After starting we had a huge flood from rain that dstroyed a portion of the cieling and after much BS decided it only needed a little paint which he would do.  Now having an open roof we had to continue. He finished the job and unknown to us installed the skylites wrong.  Needless to say  we were again flooded out.  More BS and  a request for more money decided that maybe he could Tar it and would paint it inside.  All the seams on my cabinets have spread, my new kitchen floor is picking up and the joists are now visible.  His solution was paint and glue and more BS.  Parts of my cieling have had to be cut out and have had to have the whole shed roof redone.  Am waiting on remainder of insurance settlement to do structural work on floor. Cabinets are still a mess and new roofer told me i was overcharged by almost 50 percent.  If you want poor work and a ton of BS hire Walt Davis.

The "Big Deal" that I purchased was a terrible experience and it was not a good "Deal".  If you want something done well or timely do not deal with Coveney Construction.
Mr. Coveney is not responsive, does not return phone calls on a regular basis and does not appear interested in doing the work or developing a relationship for future work. In fact he informed me that he only gets 50% of the amount paid, since Angie's list gets the other half.  After many months and numerous phone calls for my $299 (six hours of wrok) I got about three hours of badly performed work.
He did not show up for the first scheduled appointement and the explanation was that it was not on his calendar and that it was a comminication issue. For the second appointement he showed up and installed a ceiling fan. I think I could have done it faster. So for my $299 I got a ceiling fan incorrectly installed. He took well over 2 hours to install it. The fan is slightly crooked and not flushed to the ceiling and during the installation the paint on the ceiling was scratched, however did not offer to fix it.  That same evening we found out that the remote control for the fan did not work.  He came back to fix it (another hour) but it was obvious that he was having trouble.  He did manage to fix the remote but unfortunately after a day or so it stopped working again. You need to be 1 inch away from the fan for the remote to work and even with the electric switch there is a delay with the light going on. Clearly the fan was not installed properly and I gave up since I do not have time or energy to deal with someone so unprofessional.  This was not a deal but a mightmare since I cound have had this done for a lot less than $299 and had better quality.
Based on his attitude as well as the quality of work I would NOT recommend Coveney Contruction to anyone.
