    The owner of this shop, Len, is a liar and cheater. I replaced 2 front tires of my car in his shop. When he sold the tires to me, he told me that there was a warrant on those tires. Several months later, when I went back to his shop, and told him that Sears mechanic saw a crack on one of the tires. Without even checking the tires, right away he said that the tires had no warrant on them. I was very upset that he lied to me. I said to him that he should at least check the tires. He set up an appointment for me to come back again. You know what, I took time off from work and went back to his shop at the appointed time. He wasn't there. His worker told me that he would not be there that day. I know that he did that intentionally, because it was not the 1st time he did that to me. I would not recommend anyone to go to this shop. The owner cheats and lies. He gave me a bad attitude when he deal with me. He also doesn't keep the appointments that were set up by himself. He doesn't respect his customers and their time. I recommend to go to Sears Auto Center. Sears keep their words about the warrant and provide good customer service.

    They give you a free car wash when you go here. When you drop off your vehicle, they will take you home or anywhere else that you would like. When the car is finished, they will then come and pick you up. I have been going here for a few years. I normally set up an appointment ahead of time. It generally takes about a few hours to finish. They call you when your vehicle is ready. The oil changes are free, because it is included in the warranty. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

    Elmwood Certified Auto Services
    Consulted Angies List and found Elmwood Certified Auto Services. After reading the reviews decided to take my 98 Pathfinder to replace the clutch and found out I had some other issues as well. The service was top notch, they take the time to explain all the issues and the costs associated with said issues. All issues were resolved in a timely manner. I would highly recommend the shop and it's services.

Since I purchased the car, the staff at Prestige has consistently stepped up to help me maintain my vehicle, provide service and even give free car washes when I drop by.     Less than a year after purchase (actually within the first few months), the car started malfunctioning and by six months, it was basically undrivable. Despite multiple requests for help with resolution with the auto, Jack (the manager of DEP) currently has both OUR CAR AND OUR MONEY -- no resolution is in sight. I fear we will have to either sue him or physically go down and have the car towed away to even get the auto back for trade in value.

    DO not buy from this vendor. Do NOT trust this vendor. Do NOT do business with this vendor. There are a LOT of car dealers in the Tri-State area. Learn from our mistake and find a better one.

    I was very happy with this deal.  I went there expecting he worst...that they would charge fuel as a credit since it was not cash...but it wasn't .  I was charged as if cash was used.  I wish Angie would put out more of these offers.   Thank You.

    Universal Transmissions
    One night when returning home late from work, I noticed that my engine sounded weird. A constant clickity clack sound. It was really late so I just drove it home and was going to take it into my regular auto service shop in the morning.
    Well my wife wakes up before I do and takes my car to run some errands. Then she calls me on the cellphone and tells me the car won't start and she's stranded at the strip mall. I take our other car to pick her up and wait there for a tow truck. When the tow truck gets there, the driver has me try to start the car. As soon as he hears it, he gasps and utters an expletive. Says it sounds like the timing belt! I have no idea about cars, but from the look on his face, I know that it doesn't look good.
    I have him tow my car to my auto service station, even though he tells me they probably won't be able to fix it and recommends I take it to his company's auto repair shop. I figure he's just trying to steal my business so I just politely decline and have him drop it off. Sure enough, I get a call a few hours later telling me it's the timing belt and they can't fix it. I go to the shop and the news is pretty grim. Basically, when the timing belt goes on my model car, the metal parts inside the engine start knocking against each other and can cause extensive damage. They didn't even want to touch it.
    Luckily I had built a good rapport with one of guys and he recommended that if I wanted to try to service it, to take it to Universal Transmissions. Well I go there and speak with Ron. Ron was very honest about the situation, and pretty much told me the same thing about the engine the first shop told me. He asked me if the car was running when the timing belt went. I told him that according to my wife it was parked at the strip mall. When she went to leave the strip mall is when the car wouldn't start.
    Ron let me know that if we're lucky, it will only cost a few hundred dollars to fix. Otherwise, costs could run into the thousands to where it's not even worth it to try to fix. I decide to go ahead with the repair work and leave it in Ron's capable hands.
    Well long story short, my car is alive and well! Ron called me with the good news that the car was able to be fixed with a minimal of expense. I can't thank Ron enough for fixing my car. My wife is on leave until January to take care of our newborn baby boy, and this would've been a terrible time to have to finance a new car!
    I cannot recommend Ron from Universal Transmissions enough. He was honest, his rate is extremely reasonable, and he is very responsive. I would not hesitate to have my car serviced by him again, and have already taken it back there and gotten even more great service. If you've been looking for a mechanic you can trust, then you don't need to look any further than Ron at Universal Transmissions!

    They were really good. They said that they will be happy to have me in. They took them a little while to get back to me. They did call me right away. I had sent them an email in the night. They open around 8am and they only called me at 6pm. They sound very interested in giving me the costing. They told me to come in any time as they were opened 8am to 9pm. They left me their name and telephone number to call back. They were very communicative.

    Firestone Complete Auto Care Store
    They were very good. I had an issue with my car brakes which they fixed within few hours on a Saturday. I could not go and pick up my car as I was going to be out of the area. I kept the car there until Tuesday and then picked it up. I probably will go back there. Their price was cheap. I have got the brakes done for a cheaper price, but the quality was the same and these people are located in my neighborhood. They have Saturday hours as well. They open early during the weekend. Their timing is excellent. They were very nice and helpful. They were not too pushy. They did what they said they would do. Their price was within the acceptable range. They called me back when they said they would. They were very responsive.

    They strictly do fluid changes and that kind of stuff. The work they did went perfectly well. I am satisfied with them. They do whatever is in their service agreement. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future.
