AMonk's Home ImprovementsIt went extremely well. The new door is beautiful and the workers were pleasant to work with. We needed some work done outside around the door, and the foreman gave us a great suggestion which worked perfectly for us. The banister (for our center hall colonial) was very intricate, and the old stain needed to be hand sanded in several areas and was tedious work. The crew did a wonderful job, and the new stain looks great. The family room and trim needed to be refreshed (this is the room the French door was added to) and it looks like a great job. The painters were very professional, and did a great job, including cleanup. We could not be happier with how things turned out.- Mark S.

ATri-State Window Factory CorpThe team at Tri-State Window Factory just did yet another fabulous install at our home (new storm door and window) and I had to share. They're meticulous throughout the whole process, from sales to measuring to installation, we have always had a pleasant experience with each team. We have done all our windows now at this point and a few doors too. Love it when friends and family comment on how nice they look and how well they're built. Never had any hidden surprises or costs either. The cost breakdown is clearly written up every time which we appreciate. We are fortunate to have found Tri-State and will continue to use them as needed ... their warranty policy is also hard to beat, just got a few of their window screens re-screened too that were damaged from years of weathering and no hassles and no charge!- Phil H.

ATri-State Window Factory CorpI've used tri-state in my Home for years. We've replaced every window, and had new sliding doors installed. Most recently we had a new storm door put on the back of the house and replaced our last "old window." Andreas and team were fantastic (as they have always been!) the measurements were completed at the time they indicated (and the gentleman wore mask and gloves without question) and the day of installation was seamless and clean. ATri-State Window Factory CorpHired Tri state to do windows siding roofing and doors. We built a house recently in massapequa and we needed a ton of work to be done. We hired Tri state to do everything and we could not be more pleased. From the quality to the beauty of all there products we are extremely happy! AMagnolia Home Remodeling GroupWe worked with Chris from Magnolia on a second floor remodel and were extremely happy with the process and results. The reno included demolition, framing for new roofline and dormers, roof and gutters, siding, new master bathroom, master closet, laundry space, wood floor and stairs, doors, millwork, tiling, masonry for a chimney extension, windows, and central air system. Chris is a great guy, very easy to work with it, trustworthy, and responsive. He hires skilled subcontractors and kept the reno moving at a good pace. There were no surprises with either the budget or scope of work. Magnolia made our dreams come true with this reno and we would definitely recommend them for your job.- Beth H.

BAmerican Home Remodeling IncThe end product is nice. My kitchen is very nice and functional and the basement is definitely better with the new door and bilco door. However the estimated timeframe of my project was supposed to be a month and a half however everything was completed within 3 months. There were times where they were not working on my house for weeks. Had to remind them numerous times on things that were not completed. I asked for the detailed listing of expenses that included material cost and labor compared to the budget and never received that.- Jessica S.

FI made an appointment for today for someone to come over to my house. He never called me, e-mailed me or texted. HE NEVER SHOWED UP! I have been waiting all of this time for him to come. Our appointment was 10/06/2020 @ 11:00-1200 noon. If he could not make it, why didn't he just contact me & let me know that he couldn't make it. If this is the type of people Angie's list hires, i don't even want to use Angie's list!

FThrough Angie's List, I requested a quote from this "company" on 1/9/19. Here it is, 1/15/19, and I never heard a word from them. What was my big project? I needed a couple of holes drilled in walls of the house, from the outside, so I could run some ethernet cable. Either they couldn't handle the scope of this job, they thought it beneath them, or they felt I wasn't substantial enough of a customer to be worth their time. Unprofessional, inconsiderate, amateurish, and ignorant. Do not waste your time with these people.

ATrevor took on full responsibility for the entire project and got the sub contractors, arranged for the roof to be rebuilt, the siding to be redone, reconstructions of bedrooms, den and one bathroom. There were promises made and promises kept. Trevor was on top of everything and treated our house as if it was his own. Trevor finished what he started and made sure all of the subs were on time, had their needed materials and finished what they started in a timely and professional manner. Trevor had completed some smaller projects over the past decade for us and acquitted himself well with this rather large project with many moving parts from electrical, roofing, siding, plumbing, interior finishing, painting, tile work, etc.
