    Everything they did was timely, yhe work was prrfect and they were always within their estimates. Powertech saved me thousands over what the dealer eanted for the same work. Not onky that but when you are a Poeertrch customer you really become like family. I no longer own my Porsche but I am still invited to come to their customer ebents like the BBQ and Christmas Party. When I am ready for my next Porsche, I will start with Powertech!

    These people are great. My truck was getting louder and louder and I thought my muffler was shot. I called Xpertech in Asheville and they said they don't do exhausts, and referred me to these guys. I was expecting an expensive repair but they quickly found the leaks and fixed them in 1/2 hour, charging me $60.00 plus tax. Just moved here from NJ so I'm used to people trying to rip you off and do unnecessary repairs, so this was a very pleasant surprise. These people do their own custom work like shops used to do and don't rip you off. I'd recommend them to anyone.

    Once I placed my request with Car Shipping Carriers ie: www.carshippingcarriers.com I was inundated with phone calls and emails for 2 DAYS. Maybe 20 different companies contacted us.  Angies List provided us with a BROKER who shops out jobs. THIS IS WRONG.  20 companies?  What a pain.   I found someone else.

    I bought a Mercedes ML430 and i discovered some issues after the sale.
    Dan fixed all the problems so far. He is a very nice person and was very
    helpful with the insurance claim, the repairs and even with a loaner car
    for the time of the repair.
    I would recommend Dan's Auto. He is our new repair shop for all of our cars.

    I had a hard time with their financing department. I couldn't get a hold of them and they neglected to tell me that if I wanted the extended warranty with the car it needed to be decided within a week of purchase. Even though I was trying to call them they weren't getting back to me. I had to make the decision on the extended warranty with all the financial details in less than 24 hours, so I felt pressured and rushed. I was disappointed that they didn't call me back right away despite multiple messages. When they were working on the car to get the registration and insurance they lost all of my paperwork and had to start over, so I had to re-fax everything and I was just really not happy with their handling of the logistics. On the car itself the negotiation process was very good and straightforward. I was happy with the price and the vehicle is very good, but I wasn't happy with the paperwork side of it. The registration and the insurance was slow and disorganized. I couldn't get them to call me back. I didn't make an appointment with them and it was just a walk in, but when I was trying to get them to call me it wasn't working very well. I liked the price, but I was disappointed with the service afterwards because of the paperwork.

    We have a 2004 Toyota Sienna minivan that has been serviced by Toyota of Newton since we bought the car. Over the past year, the service department has increasingly become more concerned with making money than providing good service. Here is our latest encounter: Driving home last Friday the "check engine" light came on. We called Toyota of Newton and scheduled the car to go in the next day. That part was good. It turned out that the car needed a new exhaust manifold and few other repairs. The service manager called and told me the total was about $1400. I asked for a discount which they gave me - 10%. So I confirmed with the service agent that my total should be about $1250.00. he said "yes". I authorized the repairs. Several hours later I got a call that the car was ready to pick up.  When I got the bill, it was $1,426.00.  This includes the 10% discount they included on the bill.

    Overall it was terrific and I really appreciated their effort to finish early and save me an extra day's rental, especially since the next day I would probably not have gotten back in time and it would have been an extra two days rental.
    It is that kind of effort that distinguishes the best from the good.

    drove in without calling ahead and they took care of me right away. professional and courteous staff. I didn't have anything that needed replacing, although I was told I'd probably need new brake pads by my next inspection and should probably get them replaced at my next oil change. They also drove me to pentagon city mall to kill time during the inspection. took a little longer than they initially estimated.
