    American Platinum Remodeling
I used this company for a investment property I purchased this year. The owner was very responsive and paid attention to every detail of the project. Greg took care of all the permits and inspections needed for the renovation. He also was very organized with scheduling all the workers and the township inspections. All in all the project turned out beautiful and would definitely hire this company for future investments. If your looking for a reliable company to turn your investment into a profit American Platinum Remodeling will not disappoint. They understand your vision and value your investment as if it was their own. Thank you APR, looking forward to future investments.

    Phillip Jennings General Contractor
Phillip's works was superior. I wish I was able to share a few before and after pictures, Phillip's work is superior. The best part of the experience, I didn't feel like I was being overcharged because he kept me informed and explained multiple alternatives to help meet the end results. As a result, we have a huge, open basement. The crown molding was restored and replaced. A wall was removed to open the use of space. My wife loves the modernized bathroom. The tiling has no paint over the tiles or extra plaster/cement. The walls are smooth because the walls were sanded and painted for a nice finish. The recess lights loop ok amazing. The best part of our basement is my daughter's playroom, Philip was able to restore a walled shelf, make the room bright and lit. The mold was removed and rusted pipes replaced. Phillip changed and secured all the windows in my basement and winterized my doors. Philip even changed the locks and removed all old furniture from my garage.

They started the job when they said they were going to, and finished the job around the estimated time. They followed up with me to make sure everything was finished the way I wanted. They work was of high quality. I am satisfied with the quality of the work. They checked with me throughout the process of the remodel. They showed me they really care about the details of the job.

The estimate was Outrageous, it blew me away literally ;(, so I chose to go with someone else.
I needed an estimate on my partially finished basement with a full bathroom. All the wall insulation, lighting, electrical outlets, etc. Some sheetrock needed to be replaced due to water damage and mold, the flooring, painting, and cosmetic finishings, and very little plumbing and electrical. $38,000- 10%=Really $34,200.

Upon finishing his inspection, he provided us with a handwritten ( two sentences)  report  describing the problem and his recommendation.  He also verbally recommended that we call a structural engineer, as his company did not have the necessary equipment to re-build our home's foundation.

I truly wished this company had given us all of the information that they claimed they gave us, preferably in writing. He provided two sentences about the situation and I do not recall him making any comments about the town.  He did tell us that it was a big problem and we would need a structural engineer, but he could not  provide any referrals  for us to contact to get this big problem fixed, and his report was two sentences.  I guess I was expecting too much from this professional, but I wish him luck in the future.

I used the promotional discount from Angie's List to get an appointment to view my basement leak.  I called on a Thursday and
Mr. Lou Alloro was here by Saturday morning, on time to view the problem.  We set a date for 2 weeks later March 20, 2013 at 9:00 A.M. The workers arrived at 9:15 A.M. and completed the job by 12:15 P.M.  They worked swiftly and the thoroughly with very little noise.
They cut about one foot trench from the inside perimeter of the wall and pitch it toward the sump pump.  I had an existing sump pump from a previous excavation on the back wall which was installed by another waterproofing company several years ago.  The original price to use the existing sump pump was $2800.00.   My project was called a Deep Channel Pressure Relief System. It has a life time
guarantee.  They also treated my walls for mold.
Since the existing sump pump was several (8 to 10) years old, I thought if best to replace with a new pump and the additional cost increased the price to $3100.00.  If Bonded Waterproofing had to come back to replace the old pump the price would have been $600.00 so it was best to take the deal for additional $300.00 more from the original price. I requested they leave the old pump behind and they complied as requested.  The workers did a clean job and I would hire and recommend them to my friends.

    Renova Environmental Services
I bought a house with oil heat and an underground oil tank.  I had tested the tank at the time of purchase, but had read all kinds of horror stories and wanted to get rid of it ASAP.
First, I switched to gas heat, then went through the process of selecting a company to remove the oil tank.  The size of the tank was unknown.  The wild guess was that it was 550 gallon.  All quotes came very close.  I decided on Renova because of positive reviews on Angie's List.
Considering that I could have an environmental disaster on my hands, I wanted to be present during the excavation.  Everything was a "go", then Sandy struck and Renova was busy, then I was away.  Finally, the job was scheduled for 12/28.
The crew arrived on time.  After they started the excavation it turned out that I had a 1000 gallon tank.  Luckily, they checked out the picture of the house on Google and figured that it was a large house with a potentially bigger tank than 550 gallon.  So, they brought more material to fill in the hole.
Oil and sludge from the tank were removed, the tank lifted from the ground, and inspected by the city inspector.  Then it was cut in half  and placed on Renova's truck, the hole was filled.
Renova charges for the bigger tank removal and extra oil (since the original estimates were for a smaller tank) were quite reasonable.  The crew was very professional, and I would highly recommend the company.
