Tree Service reviews in New Brunswick

  • Abraham came out to assess the job, gave me a price we agreed on and we signed an agreement and he was here first thing the next morning. He personally reviewed what needed to be done, gave directions to his workers and they proceeded to cut down 2 trees and a baby tree. They took all the branches with them and even trimmed some limbs from bushes. Hired them to come and cut and trim my grass every 2 weeks quite satisfied. Would hire them again as they kept their word which means more than even a contract as that is based on establishing trust which they have succeded in doing with me.

  • Very well. Tree work was very smooth; owner of this firm was physically present, which made a huge difference from the last provider I used. I think this is an advantage of a family business as opposed to a national company, where I got lousy service and poor supervision. The proprietor also really knew about types of trees. For an additional small sum, he also agreed to spread chipped wood as mulch on large amount of my border plant beds. Also cleaned up some work I had done for free, chipping the remains of prior tree trimming and blowing sand off my pathway. Left some firewood for my neighbor.

  • Very professional. We had a number of branches crack and fall onto our garage. Sami gave us an estimate, we agreed, and then we scheduled a date. He came and took care of everything as expected. I hope I don't have any more trees or branches come down but if I do, I would hire Sami again.

  • Went well. Only took a few ours. They did it quick and cleaned up afterwards. Very reasonably priced. The reason for giving a B for availability was that we had difficulty connecting in August to schedule the work.

  • The individual who answered the phone booked an appointment for an estimate, then called the morning of the appointment to confirm. The owner arrived to do an estimate as scheduled and gave me a written completed contract before he left. The price was reasonable. We agreed on three possible dates for the work. They called on the first of the possible dates and said a crew was available between noon and 12:30. They arrived on time - a crew of five men, a bucket truck, a chipper, and another truck. The trees they were trimming are surrounded by beds of perennials -- they were very careful, minimizing damage to my garden. The job was extensive and took several hours. Everyone was polite and professional. We had my neighbor's permission to do some of the work from her property and they were very very careful. They cleaned up thoroughly.

  • Punctual, advised he will be late from the get go. Removed tree cleaned up driveway. Removed old stump next to the one he was working on without extra cost. This is a 3rd job he did for me. All of his workers take safety first no nonsense. Fair price.@

  • I am very happy with the work they did. As an experienced arborist, Bob
is very knowledgeable and is willing to explain all the considerations.
At the estimate, he took time to make a careful examination of the trees
and the yard, and gave a detailed written estimate with various
options. On the day of the work, Bob and his team of three assistants
were punctual and polite. Bob was there throughout the job and very nice
about answering questions and giving updates. The work was done
efficiently and professionally. In particular, the tall pine tree was
transformed from a scary mess into a being of majestic beauty, and our
specific requests about how much to trim the fallen tree were exactly
fulfilled. All debris was removed and the yard left more tidy than when
it was when they came. The price is very reasonable considering the high
quality of the work. I recommend them enthusiastically and will
    certainly use them again.

  • Everything went as planned. I Just had a new patio installed and they took very good care of no damage to it. Because they had to enter my property from my neighbor's yard. To show appreciation they prune their trees. These guys are very pleasant to work with.

  • He identified problems on the spot and also reassured us as to what conditions were normal in developing trees.  He took photos of things he was uncertain of and got back to us, via email, within 24 hours with a diagnoses and recommendations for treatment.  He provided the name and website for a supplier of natural pest controls for a mite problem with cedar trees on our property.  He advised on future pruning to improve tree shape and stability. He also gave recommendations for future shade tree planting.  During our consult he was professional and patient; we never felt rushed.  I would recommend him if you have concerns about your trees or for a general maintenance inspection.

  • We wanted the trees attended to especially in view of potential storm damage.  On consulting with my backyard neighbor and going into his yard, I saw that our trees were making it very dark and overshadowed, so we wanted to alleviate that as well.  Some of the cutting was over the neighbor's yard (across a fence) and possibly involved entering his yard.  Alan (the owner) was careful about looking into that.  The price he gave us was very good, about half of another quote we had.  The work, by and large, was done well and to our satisfaction.  There was no, or very, very minimal, damage to our neighbor's plants, which was one thing we wanted to avoid; they were happy with the outcome.  Also, the workers cleared up and chipped a brush pile we had accumulated without having to or even being asked.  Negatives:  the workers used some small tractors or similar equipment to move cut wood around, and it damaged the lawn in the front and the back (though not severely, and as of this writing, about 2 years later, that is all fine).  The workers seemed pretty much limited to Spanish, which I do not speak.  As they worked, I saw a couple of other things that I would have liked cut, but couldn't communicate that.  However, we found Alan considerate, thoughtful, careful about setting things up, and pleasant to work with.  I would recommend his service.  I think our problems could be avoided by A. Discussing with him ahead of time what machinery will be used where, to avoid potential damage and B. Arranging that he stop by at some point during the work to consult on any issues that show up or any additional items that should be done (in cutting very overgrown trees, there are times that you don't see a limb or two that should be cut until after the work has started).  I consider these negatives pretty minor, and as said, would go to this company again if needed.  PS I don't recall exactly when the work was done, but it was roughly two years ago as of this writing (June 2015).
