  • Tony was able to isolate the intermittent power problem and resolved it quickly. He addressed the repair of outdoor outlets and fixtures in a timely fashion. He replaced one of our existing electrical subpanels with a better quality electrical panel. All work was done promptly. We were very satisfied with the work and would hire Tony again the next time we have an electrical issue

  • Abraham came out to assess the job, gave me a price we agreed on and we signed an agreement and he was here first thing the next morning. He personally reviewed what needed to be done, gave directions to his workers and they proceeded to cut down 2 trees and a baby tree. They took all the branches with them and even trimmed some limbs from bushes. Hired them to come and cut and trim my grass every 2 weeks quite satisfied. Would hire them again as they kept their word which means more than even a contract as that is based on establishing trust which they have succeded in doing with me.

  • Several years ago we had Craig come out and discuss landscaping our backyard. We gave him $300 to do drawings, but never received any drawings, and he never got back to us. We called this spring and he came back out and we discussed landscaping in both the back and front yards, and he said he would send us an estimate. Again, we never heard back from him.

  • Very well. Tree work was very smooth; owner of this firm was physically present, which made a huge difference from the last provider I used. I think this is an advantage of a family business as opposed to a national company, where I got lousy service and poor supervision. The proprietor also really knew about types of trees. For an additional small sum, he also agreed to spread chipped wood as mulch on large amount of my border plant beds. Also cleaned up some work I had done for free, chipping the remains of prior tree trimming and blowing sand off my pathway. Left some firewood for my neighbor.

  • I have been a customer of this company for the last 7-8 years. The owner, George Seif, and his son Jeremy, in his absence, have winterized and opened the sprinkler system each spring and made repairs as necessary. In the fall of 2017 George Seif recommended that I install an electric outlet in the garage so that he could relocate, before spring, the sprinkler controller which is located in the basement. The review is based on the experience below. I contacted Mr. Seif on three occasions during the winter of 2017/2018 and left voicemail messages each time informing him that an electrical outlet had been installed in the garage and that the installation could proceed. Mr Seif never replied to any of the calls. I called a fourth time and left a message asking when he could come to open the lawn sprinklers. During the first week of June 2018 his son, Jeremy Seif called, saying that he was available that day to relocate the controller. I mentioned that I had left his father many phone calls during the winter but he was only interested in hearing whether he could relocate the controller. When I told him no he abruptly hung up and was not interested.

  • Very professional. We had a number of branches crack and fall onto our garage. Sami gave us an estimate, we agreed, and then we scheduled a date. He came and took care of everything as expected. I hope I don't have any more trees or branches come down but if I do, I would hire Sami again.

  • While I had hoped to see a detailed drawn landscaping plan, Craig prefers to work with concepts. In truth I was a little nervous, but since most of his reviews were quite positive, I went ahead with project. Craig works in a very efficient manner. He purchased all the plants and decorative rocks the day before and arrived at my house at 7:30am with a large enough work crew that everything was completed by 12 noon. Craig and I worked closely together on design implementation including placement of plants and patterns of decorative rocks. He was respectful of my input and I trusted his decisions. While he might charge more than other landscapers, the quality of the plants and the professionalism of the entire crew were worth the money outlaid.

  • Initially I found the office staff to be responsive and professional, but that changed as the season progressed. The lawn crew was always an issue. They frequently took their lunch breaks on my lawn. One of the workers liked to lay under a pine tree with branches so low it was impossible to sit up underneath it. Passersby were left with the impression that there was an unresponsive or dead person under the tree. Another crew member who was sitting on the curb by my mailbox threw the remains of his lunch - partially eaten food and wrappings - in the middle of my lawn. When I asked him if he had thrown the garbage on my lawn, he said yes and that he would "pick it up later." Wrong answer! When I complained to management they apologized but did nothing further. I subsequently got a quote from Custom and 3 other lawn companies for a big landscaping job on the property. Custom's estimate was 50% more than the other 3 estimates. Due to the high cost and past issues with the crew, I chose another company, and the job was completed satisfactorily. The latest issues with Custom are 1) the fact the Custom crew went ahead and only cut part of the lawn during one visit due to the placement of multiple utility flags in preparation for Fios installation. No one bothered to contact me to ask if I wanted to pay full price to get half of the lawn cut. I had to call management again to tell them I was not going to pay for a full cut when a good portion of the lawn could not be mowed due to the plethora of flags. Custom failed to call me back in follow up as promised so I had to call them again. They did waive the entire charge for the partial cut. 2) While I was on the phone about the partial cut, I mentioned that the lawn was not cut on the week of Oct 15. Anna told me my service was weekly, and the lawn should have been cut on Oct 19. I told her it was not and I had photos to prove it. She said she would look into it and get back to me. I also sent a follow up email after getting off the phone. I got no follow up from Custom other than the Oct bill and was charged for the nonexistent Oct 19 service. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau about it. One of the company managers contacted me to apologize for my experience. He also told me the charge for the charge for the service in question had also been waived. I appreciate the fact that this individual reached out to me and that I was not charged for a service I did not receive.

  • Great! They arrived a little later than planned due to an earlier job delay, and I had to leave before the job was finished. When I returned, the job was completed, they had removed all the debris and cleaned up. I received a follow up phone call to make sure I was satisfied. This company seems capable of both large and small jobs. I would definitely hire them again.

  • Went well. Only took a few ours. They did it quick and cleaned up afterwards. Very reasonably priced. The reason for giving a B for availability was that we had difficulty connecting in August to schedule the work.
