  • This doctor is wonderful! He is simply excellent. If something is wrong, he ensures all avenues are covered in order to create an effective treatment plan for whatever the diagnosis is. I've been going to Dr. Malik for about 15 years now and have yet to have a negative experience. I would highly recommend him for a primary care physician.

  • Dorothy was wonderful, a kind and patient guide through a confusing journey with many moving parts. I couldn't have been happier with the service I received. She goes the extra mile, puts in a lot of research and is careful to make sure you understand the plans and your options. She is service oriented and keeps the client's needs in mind, always working to get you the best possible situation for your needs.

  • I like that they are convenient. They have reasonably good hours for nursing care providers. They are available. They are very courteous and they're good about billing. It's pretty accurate. I haven't had any dispute. They were good all around.

  • I deal directly with the hospital. Luckily I don't have any health issues so I don't go to any doctors. I already did all of my health screenings. I don't go to any other doctors. Yes, it is St. Peter's University Hospital. My daughter was born here and she is 20 years old. We have been coming here for many years. What stands out and keeps me going back is just the doctor. The care of the doctors is very good. The bed side manners are great. It is very important for doctors. It is also that they are good with children. They are very attentive to the children, always concerned and they follow up and they call you at home. The nurses are great. The administration calls you to make sure that everything is going well and if you needed any assistance for anything. Overall it has been very good with the doctors and the nurses. The whole facility is excellent. It is a hospital, they are always there.

  • The doctor was very composed and told us not to worry and did not believe in prescribing antibiotics which is a rarity now a days. Our 3 year old daughter who does not like doctors liked the doctor. The facility was very clean and organized.

  • RWJ is a top-notch hospital, the best around, so I knew I would receive excellent care.( I had been there six years before when was hit by a car while crossing the street and suffered several broken bones, including my skull and my back.) I never dreamed just HOW MUCH care I would need on this second occasion. Checking in and getting to my room was easy and didn't take long. I was given a private room, although I didn't ask, because they were concerned about infection with the skin graft. As I recall, the nurses came right away to do what they do, as well as start IVs and put in a catheter. BTW, RWJ's and quot;vampiresand quot; are terrific. The site of my IV had to be changed several times, and they never messed up--first time was the charm. Another person came in to tell me what was what and when various procedures would be done and told me about various services available, from food to chaplains. I liked that; it made me feel more relaxed.A few hours after the antibiotics had been hooked to my IV, I began to itch. The more I scratched, the more my skin began to flake and get red. I told the nurse, who got an OK for meds to ease the itch. It reminded me that I had experienced this before with the same antibiotic. When I told the nurse about this, she was concerned and said she would put it in my chart for the doctor.I didn't itch as much, but my skin began peeling as if I had a sunburn. After a day or so, ALL my skin was starting to peel and my blood values were weirding out. That's when my own doctors started to call in all sorts of specialists. My blood pressure soared and could not be controlled. My kidneys got stopped working right and I developed diabetes insipidus--not regular diabetes--and dialysis loomed in the future. The itching and peeling turned into full-blown Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis, which can be lethal. Between pain and itching, I was going crazy. Fortunately, helpful meds were always available and the nurses never waited around whenever I buzzed them to tell them I needed more--they came on the run. Even the dietician came in to make up a very specific diet for me. They were all reassuring, but my allergy to the antibiotics could easily have been fatal. The doctor changed the IV antibiotics to another category that I could tolerate. It took almost a month to reverse all these conditions and to let my skin return to normal. Then they were able to do the skin graft. I had wanted to be asleep for the procedure, but because of all I had been through, they elected for conscious sedation. They all explained about it and reassured me, and everything turned out OK.The fact is, I would have died if the medical teams at RWJ had not been so concerned and so proactive in getting on top of what was going on. Not only were they professionals, but when my conditions finally turned around, I remember them smiling and nodding as they read the good news in my chart. They cared.

  • They are absolutely fantastic, they are excellent, and they are one of the best hospitals in the U.S. I live down the street from there. It’s a big medical complex, so all my doctors, my medical care and my tests are done there. They do everything and it’s the teaching hospital for the state medical school. If anything happens to me, they do it all right there. Also, one of the doctors there found out what no other doctors could find. She found out a way to speed up the operation for my heart, or else the procedure would have crippled me. It’s the friendliest hospitals I’ve ever been to, where everybody smiles; they are very helpful and very attentive. I was in intensive care and the lady next told me that this is the best hospital staff that she has ever seen. I was there when I had a heart attack and I had stroke symptoms, I went to the emergency room and they just took unbelievable care, so I told them I was reluctant to leave, because they took good care of me. I had 24 hour care and I got anything I wanted.  I would rate them high all across the board and I continue to there in the future.

  • The facility is very clean. Most of the nurses are really nice and really good at what they do. Most of them are very knowledgeable and exceptional. They are comforting and great. They answer the questions I have. They have all the answers. They are very competent. The nurses were very relaxing. They let me stay a little bit longer than I am supposed to be in the room, so I could stay with the baby when he had jaundice. It is a great place to deliver a baby. I delivered both of my babies there. The food is okay, it was better before.

  • Unfortunately, members of my family have needed treatment  at RWJUH many times.  Fortunately, the treatment has always been top notch. In my mother's case she was operated on successfully despite her advanced age and is walking around well.  My family has received excellent orthopedic care, cardiac care, cancer treatment and general surgical care at the hospital, and we are flucky to have such a great facility nearby.

  • I like that they had a friendly staff and were quick to get me admitted.  They seem to be properly staffed and prepared if there was a lot of activity in a night; a place where overflow can go.  They seem to care about the patient ( and their wishes) and not just what seems to be convenient.  We will go here over a closer hospital due to the good patient care and the hospital's general competence we received.
