We saw Dr. Morgan recommended by a friend. We had a long wait, an old school eye chart from the 70's was used for the exam. I was not impressed by him or his staff! The best part was the bill I received for a regular pediatric eye exam...$750!! I called to discuss the shock of their charges for a 10 minute visit and they didn't care!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND! WOULD NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!!

The initial appointment went well, however the doctor's manner is abrupt and he did not explain things to my satisfaction. When I went for an appointment for eye plugs, his hands smelled of a deli sandwich, and I had my suspicion that he had not washed throughly. That, for me, tells me I don't want to go back.

They have been examining my eyes for years. They are good and thorough. They are very busy so sometimes the appointments run a little late. They are professional. At peak times, it is sometimes hard to get an appointment. The communication is very good.

    Lopatynsky, Dr. Marta O.
The actual procedure was done in an offsite facility, set up specifically for this kind of surgery. It is shared by many doctors who seem to be part owners of the facility. Arrival time was very early (about 7 AM and it would take about 1 hour to get there) and they offered to have a car/driver take me there and back. They would not allow me to drive by myself. I declined that offer since my wife drove me. Preparation for surgery was thorough and efficient, including all of the paperwork. Once that was done, I was taken into anesthesiology where I was given a mild sedative. I was awake during the cataract procedure, but felt nothing. It was over in less than an hour (maybe much less) and I came out with a patch on my eye. That could be taken off in about 4 hours. Then followed a rigorous regiment of three different kinds of eye drops to be used several times a day for several weeks. I could see pretty well almost as soon as the patch was taken off, but it improved considerably over the next few days. The next morning, Dr. Lopatynsky saw me for a follow up and everything was OK.

Two weeks later, we repeated the procedure on the other eye. Waiting two weeks was an excellent recommendation since there was always good vision in the other eye.

Several more follow up visits were done and I'm now on a yearly schedule.

There was one problem in that in one eye, I saw faint a diagonal line. Dr. Lopatynsky explained that this sometimes happens when the sack that holds the new lens develops a slight and quot;foldand quot; and said that it is likely to clear up in a few months; but that if it does not, she can do some laser polishing to get rid of the and quot;foldand quot; . It did clear up somewhat, but not enough for me and I asked her to do the polishing. That was again done in the offsite facility, but this time they allowed me to dive by myself. The procedure took only a few minutes and cleared up the problem.

It was Fathers Day and I had a problem with my eye so I called him. He and his family met me at his office on a holiday! He stresses to me to always call him whenever I have an eye problem, no matter what time of the day or whatever day of the week. He has great recommendations for other Doctors.

    Medford, Dr. David J.
I had found Dr. Medford on Angies's List and since my regular doctor was in the same building and the reviews that I had read were favorable I thought I would give him a try. I am happy with my exam and the options that he put forth.

He doesn't have very good bedside manners, but he did an excellent job at fixing my eyes. He explained everything before the operation. He was a bit annoyed that I asked questions post surgery. I told him that I had never done this before and how are you going to know if I am progressing unless I tell you exactly what is going on. He asked me if I was one of those nervous patients and I told him that I am not nervous, I am just telling you what is going on. Although he was a little cranky, he got better after I explained things to him.

My appointment proceeded without any unusual incidents. The office staff scheduled me promptly and I was able to see the doctor without an unusual wait time. I left the office with a new prescription for contact lenses, as well as a trial pair of lenses.

    Knapp, Dr. Stefanie
She is to the point. She did not try to sell me glasses and said that I did not need them. I like the honesty and I thought she was very good. They took me in a few minutes late.

I have been going to him for many years. He has done two cataract surgeries on me in the past. He does a good job monitoring the pressure in one of my eyes.
