I have been using this family owned and operated repair service for over 10 years. It is a father and son run business. They are ALWAYS prompt, courteous, polite and very professional. I would not use anyone else.

The washer would not spin. 2 mins and they determined the belt was off. Only charged for the service call. Very knowledgeable and honest! Also, they called and texted to let me know when they would arrive.

From my first phone call to their reception to speaking with Carlita herself, everyone was super helpful and friendly. She even helped me for free!!! (which I very much appreciate as a new homeowner to a very old (1890's) house, as there are constantly expensive projects to be done) Basically, reception told me to send photos to their info@ email and that someone would get back to me. I wasn't sure what that meant, but Carlita called me back very promptly and walked me through exactly what I needed to do to reset the gas switches. She was very patient with me and tried a few things until I got it working. So HELPFUL!!! I will certainly be calling her in the future to come service our old Wedgewood and I would recommend her services to anyone.

    Georges Appliance Service
Excellent! Unlike all the others that need to see it before ordering the part, George's knew what to order so it was one trip and everything was fixed! Their price was competitive. Plus, they also fixed the hinges on the oven door on the same visit. Would use them again!

Excellent. The vendor is a true professional. Diagnoses were explained thoroughly, thoughtfully and specifically. Parts needed to be ordered; pricing was reasonable and estimate was well-communicated. Follow-up visit occurred as scheduled.

It was covered, so I didn't have to pay anything. I didn't have to pay for the visit, I didn't have to pay for the parts. It was all covered. I have a warranty contract, they cover most of my appliances, including air conditioning, heating, furnace and duct supply system. They do provide an optional service which covers the maintenance of anything you may want to add in the list. I added my refrigerator. So they are the guys I'm going to call to come if I need any maintenance done on my appliances.

    Pitstop Appliance Repair
After having a number of bad experiences with "factory authorized repair centers", I contacted Pitstop after reading a number of its reviews - figured it was worth a chance.  The technician, Josh, called to advise me that he was stuck in traffic - and would be here shortly - and he also added "it sounds like an easy fix, so it will probably only take me five minutes" - he was wrong - it took seven!  Josh was incredibly knowledgable and I felt extremely comfortable with him right from the start - after all, not everyone would even have the courtesy to call and say he is running late.  In fact, he was only late front he original window by five minutes.  Josh, as stated, made the preliminary repair - which is a stopgap - a part is needed.  Pitstop has promised to send me a quote quickly - and once the part is ordered Josh will be back to install.  I was incredibly pleased with Pitstop and would highly reccomend to anyone in need of an appliance repair.

I was having trouble with my LG Refrigerator.  It seemed like the compressor was running more frequently and it was very loud. Sounded like a jet engine in my kitchen.  I consulted the owners manual and it suggested cleaning the condenser coils.  I pulled off the base plate and stuck the vacuum hose as far as I could.  That did not fix the problem.  I decided to call pitstop to get a professional diagnosis.
The technician showed up after my 2-3 p.m. appointment and started looking at the refrigerator.  I explained to him what I typed above.  He opened the doors and felt that the unit was warm and said that it sounded like it was working harder than normal, causing excess heat.  He told me that I actually had to pull out the fridge, remove a panel and then vacuum out the coil from there.  I said to him, "that's not what it says in the manual" and he told me "the manual is wrong".  I found this to be pretty odd.  Now this is no fault of the technician, but the previous owner of my house bought a refrigerator that was too large and he solved this problem by not tiling under it so that it had enough clearance.  That meant that rolling the refrigerator out was not easy and would damage my tile.  He said they try to limit liability so he wasn't about to perform this cleaning.  I said, let's give it a try I don't care about the tile.  After a few half hearted attempts I said to forget it.  I paid my service call fee and he went on his way.
Well, it's been about 3 weeks and I finally was able to get the refrigerator out.  To my surprise the back of the unit was in near pristine shape.  No dust bunnies, no caked on crud, not much of anything.  I vacuumed out everything that was accessible.  I put the refrigerator back in the slot and sure enough, still sounds like a 747 jet engine.  I have to believe that I have a faulty component that was not properly assessed.  In retrospect, I'm surprised the technician didn't have any tools with him that could have been used to move my refrigerator.  Oh well, that's my luck.

In response to your response.  I did take off the lower rear cover to expose the coils.  I ran the vacuum hose over them anyway, but they were not dirty.

    Georges Appliance Service
A great experience; the service man was polite and extremely knowledgeable. He also looked at the clothes washer; both appliances are 20+ years old.  He advised we continue to use both appliances and anticipate replacing them, as the repairs would b too costly.
We appreciate his honesty.  He also looked at the ice maker on our Subzero ans will call with an estimate to replace it; and he took care of a loose burner on the Thermador stove; all for the price of a service call.
We will recommend George's Appliane Repair and will definitely use them again!

Rich was excellent in every way.  He responded promptly to my phone call, scheduled an appointment within 2 days, and arrived on time.  (In fact, he was a bit early, but he called ahead and ok'd the early arrival with me.)
He diagnosed the problem within 2 minutes and rectified it within 15.  Since I do some home repair on my own, I had questions for Rich.  He was only too happy to explain what he was doing when he was doing it.
I would use him again, without hesitation, and recommend him to my friends.
