  • Very impressed by their work. In the past I went to BMW dealership for my car, but after a few bad experience, I decided to look other places and I am glad I found this one. A bit far from where I live so I had to hire Lyft service to drop me off.. They bought the original BMW part to fix my brakes. I had the job done a few months now and the brakes work very well. My car drives smoothly and I am very happy.

  • Poor customer service after the sale. They sent out a free birthday "car wash", when I went to get my car washed they said they were too busy and didn't offer another time. I went back a few months later and asked for my 'free car wash" and they said they haven't heard of such a thing. In my opinion, this is not a way to run a business. The manager was upset to hear, he claimed, that I was unhappy with their customer service and said he would get someone to sit down with me to discuss this, of course I never heard from them.

  • I found Caldwell Collision right here on Angies List. After reading the positive reviews, I brought our vehicle in for an estimate after a relatively minor accident that damaged the right front. I met with Eddie, their very friendly and professional Estimator. Eddie checked out the damage and provided a thorough written estimate of the parts and labor required to fix the damage. We agreed on a date to drop the car off for repair, and Eddie provided a date he estimated the vehicle would be ready.
Dropped the car off, got a call on exactly the day it was to be done stating it was ready for pickup. I went to Caldwell Collision and saw that the repair looked perfect, I would never have guessed the car had been in an accident. And, as an unexpected surprise, they had cleaned out and vacuumed the whole car!
I went inside with Eddie and was very happy to see that the total charges were exactly what the estimate stated, not a penny more.  I dont know how this could have gone any better (except for not having the accident in the first place :-) ) If I ever have the need for collision repair in the future, I would not hesitate to go to Caldwell Collision.

  • Joe Romola(owner) was highly recommended by a friend. We brought both our autos (Priuses) for the above mentioned work on either car recently. We were delighted with his work. Pricing was fair, work was done promptly as promised. The facility is spotless with a very comfortable waiting room and spotless rest room but waiting was seldom needed. There is also coffee and snacks. We highly recommend this business.

  • This place is good, it's a "Jiffy Lube" after all and really about the same as other Jiffy Lubes . Unless I'm bringing my car in for a repair at my regular shop, I'll usually just pop in here on a weekend to change the oil when it's needed. As with all drive through oil changes, do try to stay away from the other services they offer, air filters and such because they tend to be pricey and I'm never really sure they are necessary. Unfortunately I did need wiper blades badly so I went for the blades which would have been cheaper at an auto store... But I never had any problems with any service this shop has ever done for me. They even helped me look up maintenance records once for my car, going back 5 years. Plus there's a McDonald's right next door so head over there while you're getting your oil changed.

  • I bring my older (01-04) cars here all the time, they help me keep these old machines on the road for me at a good price. They drop me off at work and pick me up when the service is complete. Price is always good, they always fix it without repeat visits, and they are always real friendly about everything. I've done everything there - tires, windshield, a/c, oil changes and I've always been happy with everything. Plus they have a big brown dog in the shop, how do you beat that?

  • This is a very small car wash crammed in between the main road and the highway. Service is adequate and the price is right. Unlike some of the larger car washes they don't offer any detailing or interior cleaning. They do have vacuums where you can clean your own interior but it's self service. You drive through the wash yourself, so I do get a bit nervous when they are busy (I wonder if some idiot in front will hit their brakes or put the car in gear, get stuck, and cause a wet slippery pile up :)) but I can't say that's ever happened to me.... So.. all in all a fine place to drive through for a quick car wash, but head over to the full service car washes Parsippany or Pine Brook if you want something a couple notches better.

  • I paid my five bucks and, a week or two later received my Shell gas card that I effortlessly redeemed at my local Shell for $20 worth of gas. I'm still trying to figure out WHY that offer was made --- was there something hidden in the fine print? Not that I noticed.

  • These guys are responsive on the phone, happy to make an appointment, and polite in the office. The service was performed in the allotted time. However, I don't think anyone tested the work. I no sooner got home than I heard all the squeeking and rubbing noises. Before I could get back (because NONE of us have time for repeated trips ESPECIALLY after we pay a pretty penny for a check up on a car that had NO problems) the A/C belt broke off and I had no A/C in a heat wave. When I did get back, I was told that this could not possibly be caused by something they did, and $161. later I had A/C again. This seems like a fairly well-run shop, but they need to check on the quality of their actual repairs. I wouldn't go back.

  • I do most of my work myself and only go out when it is something that I can't do or don't have the tools to do. The interaction has been good with them. I can return things if I don't use them. They are other companies that are just as good as them, but they are okay. Sometimes I can't find a salesperson when I am looking for one. I will probably continue to use them.
