  • Great! Appliance Servicing like it used to be! And the same day. Eric came on time, was neat and professional. I suspected I had a bad evaporator fan in my freezer. He quickly diagnosed that it was likely just a warped cover in the freezer that was creating the vibrating loud noises. He also took pic of serial number in event the part fails at some point and said just to call if it does, they'll order and install without any additional labor charges. Thinking ahead, I liked that! Thank you Richard and Eric - my new go to guys

  • This plumber has a coupon on  Angies list  for $75.00 for a service call.  

    I needed my dryer disconnected which I can do in about 5 minutes but the mover said it needs to be done by a licensed plumber. I called before purchasing the coupon and he told me that it would be $195.00 to disconnect the dryer.   This involves taking a Wrench,  removing the hose and closing the valve.   He said this was outside the scope of a $75.00 service call.   I am not sure what is within the scope of a $75.00 service call.

  • My 10 yr old Maytag dryer was making horrible noises which I suspected were the rollers that the drum sits on as it turns. ( I had already been ripped off by a different repair service a few years ago so I knew what the sounds were like.) I called JAson Appliance repair, spoke to Dan the owner who came on Monday. He took the dryer apart, told me everything that was wrong, tighten and oiled what needed to be but said there were some parts that needed to be replaced and what he did was just so I could tackle the mountains of laundry. He put the dryer back together and said he'd call when the parts were available. The 
    dryer worked without a hitch and I was able to clear away some of the piles. 
    Dan called me on Wed said he could come that day or the next. He came on time, did the work and the dryer is way better that it was.
    His prices are very fair, he his super polite, knowledgeable and honest even locating the same exact parts at a lower than expected price. That just exemplifies his honesty. I would never have know the price difference. I have already recommended him to my friends and will keep his cards handy for the next emergency. Bravo Dan!!

  • As an authorized repair service for Insinkerator (food waste disposer) they replaced a malfunctioning on off switch. That was less than two years ago. The new switch recently started malfunctioning and has to be replaced again. When i called Pete's to replace it, they told me they no longer service my area. They are in Paramus, NJ; I'm in Montville, NJ. A distance of less than 20 miles. They installed a part that lasted less than two years and then refused to replace it even though I was willing to pay for the part and the service call.

  • Kurtis from Astre Appliance Service handled my job. He was very professional and experienced. I had smelled burning from the dryer, and he confirmed that lint had built up and was burning underneath the dryer. He was very honest in explaining the charges based on what we needed to do. He also explained that he/the company does not handle duct service and I appreciated his information. When I opted to handle some of the cleaning myself, he explained step-by-step how to do it (an easy job which would have been an additional and needless charge if I had had him do it). I was very happy with the help he provided.

  • Of the three appliance repair contractors I reached out to, Dan of Jason Appliance took the call and offered suggestions about resolving the problem ourselves without him having to come out. We eliminated those possibilities and set up an appt with him the next day. His service call fee was very reasonable. I eliminated one other contractor who provided a service call fee twice that of Dan's and one other with whom I left a message and received no return call. He came on the date and at the time promised. Upon arrival he quickly diagnosed the problem with the dead control panel on the dishwasher and reset the computer chip which brought it back into working mode. He finished a solution on the washing machine that I had attempted to resolve but was unable to complete as the unit continued to leak. Dan's honesty was refreshing and there was never a concern that he would fabricate a defective part so he could make more money. He came and left quickly, made a fair adjustment on the price of his services proportionate to the amount of time he spent and before departing offered suggestions for avoiding similar problems in the future. Dan was professional and honest from start to finish and I would without hesitation recommend his services to friends. A totally hassle-free experience. Thanks, Angie and Dan.

  • He was wonderful to deal with. Had to order the part for the dishwasher. This he did with his computer and was able to tell me if they had the part or not since Boshe said the pump was discontinued. He came a few days later to installed the part and I was as good as new.
    The first day he came he was able to find the problem with my frig and fixed it right away.
    Dan was so nice to deal with. I have him as my and quot;go toand quot; appliance man in my I-Phone.

  • This is the most unhelpful and incompetent company I've ever had the misfortune to deal with.  They were subcontracted to repair our Viking refrigerator. While the technicians who came to our house were professional, the entire office staff was rude and unhelpful and often lied to us.  We lived without our fridge for two months because they kept on dropping the ball, failing to order parts and yet claiming they had already been ordered, etc.

  • iMy oven stopped working event though the stove burners and broiler still worked. I needed a repair quickly and left a message with Kitchen Aid earlier that day but no one had returned my call until the following day. I needed a rush fix and found Jason's o Appliance Repair n Angie's List and called leaving a message. I received a call from Dan (the principal) who promised to come out the same evening. I couldn't believe it. The best service, upfront pricing, and a really nice person who was both knowledgeable and courteous.
    Couldn't have had a better experience. Dan replaced my igniter and I was ready to roast the turkey that I otherwise would have lost due to going bad! ....I know,.... I know, Turkey? and its not Thanksgiving?! Anyway, I'd use Jason Appliance again in a heartbeat. Thank you Dan!

  • Our gas wall oven stopped working.  I called Richard & made an appointment with him for the next afternoon.  He examined the oven to find out why the broiler & baking units didn't turn on.  After checking the voltage to the ignitors in each half of the oven, he replaced both ignitors and tested the oven to make sure it worked properly.  A fan blade in the circulating motor was hitting the inside of the motor and making noise.  He adjusted the  blade and the noise stopped.  
    As shown on Angie's List, he charged $75 for the service call, $50 for the labor to check out the oven, and gave us the 10% discount.   He installed the ignitors for $60 each and guaranteed them for one year.  From start to finish, Richard was knowledgeable, efficient, polite, and worked neatly - very professional.  We would definitely use him again.
