Nauna's is our favorite restaurant in town, and our favorite Italian restaurant - period. Montclair is known for having a great variety of very good restaurants, but I say that Nauna's is THE BEST, and I'd like to tell you why.

We have been eating at Nauna's for nearly 20 years now.? We order the same pizza pie at least once per week, usually with the same toppings/configuration - thin crust, extra well done with fresh tomatoes, and sometimes with extra cheese.? Three out of 5 times, while we're halfway through the pie, someone would say "Gee, this pizza tastes even BETTER than ever."? So what does that tell you? Aside from our weekly pizza, every few weeks we'll take out a meal, and perhaps once a month we'll eat inside. Whenever we've eaten there the wait staff is efficient, pleasant, clean and attentive.? I'm a carbo addict and I LOVE their delicious (usually hot) bread with butter!? I'm a bit of a stick-in-the-mud, so I don't eat too many dishes, but the ones that I eat that are all GREAT are:? chicken parm, baked ziti (WOW!), stuffed shells and spaghetti/meatballs. The prices for pizza, dishes, and catering are all very reasonable. When we eat in I have always given a good (well-deserved) gratuity.? I have never observed a slouch working at Nauna's.
