Job was completed in 2 days in January. The guys did a great job, I am still finding small pieces of shingles and nails around the perimeter of the house. I wouldn't expect them to find every piece of shingle or nails especially with snow on the ground. I am waiting for them to return with a magnet to find any stray nails that I couldn't see. Hopefully, no one will step on one and get injured.

James came to give an estimate in early December 2014 and I was happy with it.   The windows were custom so they had to be ordered.  When they came in, we had to wait until the weather got a little warmer to install them.  They were installed this week (mid-March) and I am thrilled!

There were 2 installers and they completed the job in 2 days.  They installed 8 new windows with outside frame wrapping, and also wrapped 7 older windows.  They put down tarps to protect my floors and also covered all of my furniture with plastic.  The quality of their work was excellent.

l wouldn't hesitate to recommend their work. This is the second time I've used Lawrenceville Home Improvement and I was very happy the first time too.

Three people came to do the work and it took about a day.  They arrived on time.  They were professional and the work was good.  The cleaning was a little lacking and I expected it to be better.

We picked Roof Magnificent (which was actually not so magnificent) because of all the great reviews on Angie's List.   James came to give us an estimate in late May.  He was very friendly and professional and even unblocked some of our gutters while he was up on the roof taking measurements.   He quoted a price that I thought was a little high and asked if he could do better.  He had his boss (Frank) call me, and we agreed on a price of $7,500 for a new roof and all new gutters around the house.   I gave James a check for half the cost ($3,750) in May.   He told me at that time that there would be about a 2 week wait until the work would begin.   We understood that because of Hurricane Sandy and that it was the summer time, that our wait might be longer.   It turned out that the work did not begin for another 2 months.  During the course of this time, I reached out to James several times via e mail to see when our roof was scheduled to be done.  Although he always got back to me, he never initiated any communication with me during this time.   At about 7 am, on July 29th, a truck pulls up to our house (the previous week James had told me via e mail that the work might start next week, however, we had no idea that it was starting Monday morning until the truck pulled up).   A few minutes after that, I got an e mail from James saying that the work was starting today and he apologized for not contacting us over the weekend.   We went out to look at the roofing tiles that the driver had already left.  Initially we had ordered charcoal roofing tiles, and was told by James that we could change that order anytime up to 2 weeks before the work began.   We contacted James 3 days after the contract was signed in May to say that we changed our mind and would like the Hickory tiles instead and we received a confirmation e mail from James that he would change our order.   However, when the tiles arrived, they were charcoal and not hickory.   When we called, Frank informed us that it would have to wait even longer if we wanted the hickory tiles, so we opted to take the charcoal tiles that were sitting in our driveway.  Soon after that, the workers arrived in an unmarked van with their foreman, Bruce.   The worked their butts off all day, and the roof was done by early evening.  Even though James had promised us that our vinyl lined in ground swimming pool would be covered before the work began, that never happened.  The next morning Frank calls me to tell me that all the work was done (including the gutters) and he would like full payment.  I found this hard to believe, as I had just left my house 30 minutes before the phone call, and the gutter work hadn't started yet.   Frank called back a few minutes later and said he confused me with someone else and that my gutters would be done in the next few days.  The gutters were done  3 days after the roof and it seemed to be an adequate, albeit not perfect, job.   No sooner had the last gutter been put up, that Frank is back on the phone insisting on payment.  While I have no problem paying for work done, I was promised at the signing of the contract, that the most important thing to them was having a satisfied customer and that they want you to be completely happy with the job before you pay for it.   When Frank called asking for payment, I was at work and hadn't even seen the job.  Yet, I provided him with full payment cos that's the kind of gal I am.   When we went outside after all the work was completed we realized that the clean up was not that great as we had found nails all over our property and in our pool as well as well as bits of shingle and roofing paper littered across the lawn and backyard.   We called Frank, and Bruce came back and finished the clean up job which was was mostly done, although we still are finding nails to this day.   Additionally, the dumpster that was dropped the first day remained in our driveway for about a week.  We called Frank and asked for it to be removed, which it was shortly thereafter.   I had called Frank and asked him for  a paid in full receipt as we had paid 1/2 by check and the second half via credit card (over the phone) and quite frankly, it took quite a few calls and a few weeks until I actually received my paid receipt via e mail.   In dealing with Frank, we found him to be very unprofessional and argumentative when we mentioned something that was not positive (such as the wrong color tiles, not getting a receipt,  and  a shoddy clean up job).  As far as the quality of the work, we really don't know.  Only time will tell.  It looks okay, although the finish on the peak looks different from all the other roofs on our block.   Frank gave us a 20 year warranty on his work as well as a lifetime warranty on the shingles.   We hope we never have to cash in on this.   If there is a problem, we hope that Frank will honor his warranty (if he is still in business)
We chose Roof Magnificent because of the price coupled with the stellar reviews on Angie's list.   Frank did put a new roof on our shed as well (free of charge) to make up for the wrong color tiles and the long wait.   But all in all, our experience was far from magnificent.  Another interesting tidbit:  Some of the negative reviews we read (after our job was complete) were very similar to the things we experienced with Roof Magnificent.
In conclusion, we are not roofers and do not know if the job is good and cannot afford to hire a  professional to assess the job which is why we gave them a "B" in quality, giving them the benefit of the doubt.    It looks okay, but the unprofessionalism of this company does not fill us with confidence.

Overall I had a very positive experience with Saenz Contractors.  Robert provided a quote very quickly and he came in the lowest of 4 quotes (3 were clustered within $1K of one another, the last was very high).  They provided the longest warranty (15 yrs) on labor and didn't ask for 50% up front before any work was started (many contractors do).  In fact it's worthy to note they didn't collect a single cent until every aspect of the job was completed and I was happy.  On an expensive job like this, you don't find many people willing to manage their business this way.  He also provided us with recommendations on colors since we were a little lost and I'm glad I went with his recommendation.  I didn't want a flat dark brown, and even though the samples and the shingles he brought by indicated the color would be a flat dark brown, once they were installed on the roof I found he was dead right, this was the color I was looking for.  Talk to your contractor, rather than relying on the samples.  They see these after installation day in and day out and get give you a better perspective on how the finished product might look.
Generally communication was very good, they arrived on time and they seemed to take their time and do the job right rather than rushing.  Don't get me wrong, it was a lot of work to do in 2 days, and they stayed until after sunset to stay on schedule, but I felt like they paid attention to details and did the job as if it was their own home.  Everything was installed correctly and properly to ensure a solid end product.  I did have some water penetration (from the original roof the builder put on) into the home that required some extra work, the extent of which was unknown.  Robert helped to paint a picture and provide some initial suggestions and estimates.  In the end they did everything I asked of them, made sure no more water would get in through the roof or siding and the bill was consistent with what Robert and I had talked about.  For all purposes this aspect of the job could have been a blank check, but they didn't treat it as such.
For the sake of transparency and completeness, there were two issues I had with them during the process.  I chose not to lower the rating to reflect and I'll explain why.  First the scheduled start date came...and nobody showed.  I left a message and Robert called me back.  After a quick discussion he simply admitted he screwed up, no excuses, no smoke and mirrors, just a sincere apology and an offer to reschedule the following week.  It was a small inconvenience because I wanted to be onsite on the first day in case any issues or concerns arose (especially since there were a few problem areas on the roof/siding I was interested in resolving).  At the end of the day, I respect the way he handled it.  Mistakes happen and he did his best to get us back on track.  The second issue I had was with the clean up.  The day they finished the roof my wife had approached them and asked them to make sure they cleaned up the nails due to a dog in the house.  Everyone in the crew had seen us walking the dog during the job.  They did clean up the driveway and front walk.  Over the weekend I got nervous looking around the yard and picked up a magnetic sweeper to see how clean they left the yard.  Unfortunately I picked up 3-4 lbs of nails from everywhere in the yard except the driveway and front walk.  Now you are bound to find a few here and there, it's not avoidable, but this goes well beyond.  I was offered a few explanations for why this happened.  The landscapers had come at the end of the second day and were blowing the tarps around with their equipment.  They had to send them away to prevent further disruption.  I was also told they weren't finished with the job since they still had the gutters and minimal siding work left to do, which wouldn't be done until the following week.  The simple fact is, if they knew there were nails all over the yard, they should have communicated that to me.  All other signs pointed to the clean up being finished (no debris left in the yard, all equipment taken away along with the dump cart and debris and the roofing work was completed).  In any event, I had cleaned up the nails, and in light of the care they took in every other aspect of the job, I'm hard pressed to lower their rating for this.  With this or any other contractor, you probably need to be extra careful that the clean up was performed to your satisfaction if you have pets or children.  I could have gone the extra step to ask for confirmation before they left, but I assumed it had been done.  If I asked for confirmation from the site foreman and requested that they sweep the grounds immediately, I have no doubt they would have done it.  Lesson learned for both of us.  Communicate.
Sorry for the long review.  I wanted it to be complete.  Roofing jobs are expensive and if not done right can cost you down the road.  Hopefully this is helpful to others trying to make a decision.

James arrived for a quote within a day or two of calling.  I had used Lawrenceville Home Improvement recently for some windows in my kitchen and they had done an excellent job, so I wanted to use them again.  James took the measurements and provided a very competitive quote.  However, I just wasn't comfortable with the particular brand of window.  I ended up using another contractor.

His prices were reasonable. He went out of his way to accomodate us, Greg rescheduled his appointments to service us faster. After the gutter work, Mike went around the house and checked to see if there were any loose gutters. He tightened them up and made sure they were secure with no extra charge. He was very quick in his work.

A man showed up at my door explaining that they are in the area doing work and would be willing to help me with any roofing, siding, gutter, window, etc. needs. I decided to go ahead and try them even though they're from PA and I live in NJ. They were very prompt, professional and courteous. I am happy with the results.

I was completely satisfied with the services I received from Accomplished. They arrived on time and even called to let me know they would be a little early. They explained everything to me.. step by step. They completed the work in the estimated amount of time. They followed up with all the paperwork.. building permits and inspections. And they were over $1700 less than another company from whom we received and estimate.. and that was for less services.
