We waited a long time to remodel our home. We interviewed lots of companies before settling on Len's Remodeling & Contractor Services. We could not have been happier with our decision. My family spend a great amount of time in our kitchen and wanted a space that was refreshing but at the same time would invoke a feeling of relaxation and calm - an ideal space for gatherings with family or guests. It would involve a complete remodel of the kitchen, dining room, laundry room and powder room. Len's was able to pull all our ideas together and turn them into something amazing. They were able to bring our dream kitchen to life with their exceptional craftsmanship, sophisticated styling and hand finished detailing - bringing everything together perfectly. Their craftsmen were extremely talented, courteous and always professional. In addition, Len was on-site regularly to inspect the progress and resolve issues. No request was too big or too small. When we added on new ideas, Len was always supportive and fair with his pricing. I highly recommend Len's and plan on using their services again to start our next project on the 2nd floor (bathrooms and bedrooms). I cannot say enough about the fabulous job they did and their excellent customer service. We are extremely happy customers.

Everything went great. This is literally the first time I have ever written a review about anything, but felt compelled to do so since the experience was so good. Basic Basement came highly referred to us and did not let us down. Gail ,the project coordinator, was organized, responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful through out the entire process. Every team that came to our house was professional and courteous. Overall great experience.

We must say that Len's Remodeling is an amazing company & the people that work there, especially Chris, are very talented & go out of there way to please their customers. Their work is exceptional & they are detailed oriented. We couldn't live in our house because of this major renovation but Chris was on the phone with us everyday with detailed info on what took place. We felt as though we were living there because he was so precise with his information. They went out of their way to please us with everything we wanted!! We highly recommend this company for anyone looking to do a small or large renovation to their home. They truly are the best !!! Janet & Steve

Theteam at Closet Possible went above and beyond for our unique closet order. They were able to make some on the fly changes and make the custom storage solution for our laundry room amazing.   Wayne, our installer, was extremely fast, efficient, and helpful during our install. He helped us walk through some ideas that made our initial choices much better and more functional. Barry, the owner, was willing to work with us on a few things to make this entire experience stress free.   We love our master closet and laundry room finished projects and would highly recommend them to all of our family and friends.

We had an issue with a few parts matching up and a fascia for under cabinet lights. However they did come back and fix it all
Was a bit pricey but in the end seemed like a good job.
They have 3D software so you see style prior to the job

We began this project back in April.  Len came to our home where we discussed what we were looking to have done in detail.  This was fairly time consuming as we were looking to gut the kitchen and bathrooms completely as well as have work in just about every area of our house.  Len gave us all the time we needed, offered many good suggestions, and worked with us to keep us within our budget.  When all was said and done, the estimate Len provided to us was what we ended up spending.  I am very happy about this, especially after hearing stories from others about how much over budget they've gone with a project like this.

The start of construction was a few days behind schedule; as was the completion of the project but Len and his crew were very good about making sure they took care of all of our needs.  The entire project took roughly 8 weeks. Making things a bit more complicated was that we lived on our home with our two children, two dogs, and a cat throughout the renovation.  This was not easy as we do not have a garage nor a basement; so after emptying every cabinet and every closet things got a bit cramp to say the least.  Len's crew was good about working around where we had to live and eat.  Each day they would ask if we would like anything moved before leaving and were good about cleaning up after themselves as well.

Our main concern throughout the project was the care for our pets and keeping them safe and out of the way of the workers.  There were many days (especially as we got into September) where we couldn't be home to look after them.  I can't speak highly enough of Steve and Andrew who made sure they were well taken care of.  With all the strange faces in the house our smaller dog was a bit nervous and having accidents here and there (although Len's guys may argue I should use the word "everywhere").  Steve and Andrew didn't hesitate to clean up the mess and my family and I are very grateful for how our pets were treated by all of Len's guys.  Steve was even happy to exchange text messages with me while I was at work letting me know how they were doing.

I also have to highly praise Suzanne Prouty who Len set us up to work with over at the Kitchen Design Center at Lowes in Marlboro.  Suzanne was extremely helpful, full of great ideas, and always very quick to respond to any calls or emails.  She was even over to our home to drop off samples and wanting to see how the place was coming along.  She was truly interested in making sure we were happy.

Overall, there were a few bumps in the road along the way as can be expected with such a large project.  Len was always very responsive and quick to make sure any issues we were experiencing were quickly correct.  Also helping us get through the renovation was Charlie (Foreman).  Charlie is well respected by all Len's crew and saw to it that we were happy with everything that was being done.  He was good about communicating with us and seeing to it that we were able to get our home back to normal as soon as possible.

I would definitely use Len again and would recommend him to friends and family.

Received a call from Denise a few days prior to the installation confirming the date and was told they would be here at 830. A few hours later, on the same date we had an unexpected family emergency and I called the office, left a voice mail message stating I needed to be assured the workers would be completed by a particular time on that date. (Seth had told me it would take 4- 41/2 hours for the installation.) Did not receive a return call from anyone. On the scheduled date, no one showed up at 830 and over an hour later I called the office, reached Sue, the office manager, who said she passed the information along to Denise and had expected that I would have been contacted and she would find out and call me back. Denise called back and told me she never said they would begin the work at 830 because they and quot;never knew when the installers would show upand quot; and had not received any message from me. I told her that I absolutely needed to leave my home by a certain time and they needed to be done. She said she had two offers: leave the workmen there to complete the work or reschedule to end of August - 8 weeks in the future. At that point the installers arrived and I told them what had happened and they immediately began to work to get the installation completed. Shortly thereafter Sue called to ask if they had arrived and I confirmed they had and they were beginning the work. Another call from Denise who insisted that she never told me 830 and began overtalking me and interrupting and when I said and quot;I am the customer and you must listen to meand quot; continued with unprofessional communication and I hung up. She called back and gave me the option to speak with Gary, the owner but that seemed pointless at the time. I approached the workmen and told them to stop, explained to them why I was stopping their work, and apologized for inconvenience to them but caused by their employer. I had concern that they would lose a day's wages if they did not work and my husband and I agreed they could finish the work and we would leave them in the home until they were done but we were obligated to leave by a certain time. The workers did a great job and the closets are what we had expected. The quality of the work of these two persons is excellent.
The only person that called as follow up was Sue, no call from Seth, no call from Denise, no follow up call.
I would never recommend them or use them for my next closet needs because they have no communication within themselves or with their customer and that leads to poor experiences

It was a pleasure working with Len and his staff. Len walked us through everything that we wanted to do, made suggestions especially on flooring that ended up saving us lots of dollars. They started work on schedule and finished when expected. The painters left the house spotless and all work was done beyond our expectations. Flooring suggested by Len looks beautiful. Len made an older home look new again. Any follow up calls were handled promptly. Putting together our next list for Len and looking forward to working with him again.

When my wife and I decide to finish our basement, we started looking around and asking friends and relatives who finished their basements. My cousin, who finished his basement about 7 years ago had it done with a general contractor who did a decent job; but he was not licensed; so my cousin had to get all the permits under his name. In addition, the cost was about $30,000 for very much the same area I have. And this was 7 years ago.Another friend who was finishing his basement with ?Basic Basements? was so happy with their work so I decided to give them a call.

After a couple of visits and discussions, the estimate jumped to about $30,000 which was reasonable for the amount of work and upgrades I wanted to have to my basement.

We signed the contract and started working on the project late August. The whole thing took about 6 weeks start to finish and during this time; all my modifications were accommodated. The director ?and owner- of the company unexpectedly showed up many times during the work and he had his comments which -most of the time- meant more work for his men but he wanted things to go perfect which I appreciated.

During the work, two things went wrong but was brought back to the right track be the intervention of the director who was doing a great job making us happy.

First:Since I have my entire house hard-wired for network, audio and video with main distribution and control units in the basement, the main reason for me to have a dropped ceiling was to be able to access all my network audio and video cables when needed. However, A soffit had to be built to hide some recessed sewer pipes and that had to be covered with sheetrock. The framers decided to make this soffit very wide to accommodate the widest area of recessed tubing despite my requests to make it narrow all the way and accommodate the wide area ?which was about 10% only of the entire length- separately to ease my access to the main wiring section passing right above the pipe. I tried convincing them but they just continued working.Upon meeting the director the same day and speaking to him about the situation, he was convinced with my request and asked his guys to take the entire soffit down, and come to work on it ?my way- the next day which was a Saturday!

Second:We have originally requested 2x4 florescent light blocks to be used all over the basement; but due to a design issue with the dropped ceiling blocks, this would have resulted in some of the lights going across the length of the basement and some going across the width which would have left an ugly looking lighting situation.

I refused to let the electricians install the lighting this way and spoke to the director, who after coming and seeing the situation, ordered his guys to replace each 2x4 with two 2x2s (which was double the cost) at the expense of the company! The end result was a better distribution of light all over!

The director passed by a couple of times after the job was finished to take some notes and even sent his guys twice to work on some of the issues I commented on.

We could not be any happier!

After they have completed their work; and since they do flooring separately -which would have brought the cost much higher than what we could afford- we finished the flooring ourselves.

Final product: A perfectly finished basement.

The job went very well other than they came up short on two of the drawer fronts so they are supposed to come back and put those in. They did the install in one day. They did excellent work. I am really happy with it. He was able to fit me in within my time line and I had no issues. Seth came right away as soon as I asked them to. I would recommend them.
