  • It was an all around great experience! Although their schedule was busy, they were able to fit us in quickly and were very friendly over the phone. The gentleman that came was so nice and very knowledgeable. He was able to quickly identify the problem and let us know what it would take to repair it. The service call fee was very reasonable.

  • Scheduling was easy and they came out on time. Quickly informed us that the wood burning stove we inherited with the house was not up to code and should not be used at all. Saved us a lot of time and frustration.

  • I called three roofing companies to assess damage and provide a repair estimate for a roof. Only AJ Wells kept the appointment, the other two never showed up or called to cancel. Chris Of AJ Wells spent three hours inspecting the roof and providing a detailed explanation of the work needed. The insurance company initially denied the the claim saying that the cost to repair was below the deductible. I called Chris he told me not to worry. After he submitted his detailed and fully documented estimate the insurance company reversed their decision and agreed to pay for a new roof. AJ Wells did a great job presenting the claim to the insurance company and installing the roof. If you are looking for professionals these are your guys. In additional they did not require a deposit but waited for the insurance settlement. Kudos to the gang at AJ Wells. I highly recommend this company. Bill Schiels

  • We must say that Len's Remodeling is an amazing company & the people that work there, especially Chris, are very talented & go out of there way to please their customers. Their work is exceptional & they are detailed oriented. We couldn't live in our house because of this major renovation but Chris was on the phone with us everyday with detailed info on what took place. We felt as though we were living there because he was so precise with his information. They went out of their way to please us with everything we wanted!! We highly recommend this company for anyone looking to do a small or large renovation to their home. They truly are the best !!! Janet & Steve

  • EXCELLENT! We cannot say enough positive things about Falletta Masonry. What a wonderful crew they have!!! They really pay attention to detail and you can see that they are true experts and work very systematically. Anthony and Danny are very nice and made sure we were happy with the job. We will definitely be using them again if we ever have masonry needs someday when we do the outside of our home.

  • Aaron showed up on time.  Called me with his findings.  Once I had the gas line removed, I had a follow up question several weeks later.  I emailed him and he responded in less than 5 minutes.

  • The merchant doesn't answer or return telephone calls when calls placed through Angie's rapid connect. Doesn't seem interested in entertaining small jobs. He offered to perform service early winter (January/Feb) when neither the weather conditions (6" of snow on the roof!) nor my convenience made scheduling possible (please read my review of the merchant).  Just says "call in two weeks" when connected and then doesn't return phone calls. poor service and attitude. frustrating!

  • I thought a lot wondering if it would be fair to the merchant to leave a review before the job is done. But I wanted to share my initial impressions of dealing with this merchant. For what they are worth, first impressions are just what they are--first impressions. I felt like sharing this with others before they made any small purchase from this merchant. My experience is similar to that of another gentleman who posted his review saying how hard it was to get these guys to  show up for an appointment.  My experience is mostly similar, except I have trouble even making an appointment with them!

Like many others here, I purchased Angie's chimney sweep package late last year. First off, the guy I spoke with seemed nice and polite, but I felt he was too busy to entertain small work, if all those posted reviews with project costs of  $1000s any indication.  The call I placed  was connected through Angie's system and he likely knew what the call was about.

Anyway, here is how it went. The gentleman promptly contacted me in the middle of a crazy winter around here--January, i think (RapidConnect guarantee, I guess) and said he was in the area and wanted to come down right away--didn't matter that it was too short a notice, perhaps not too convenient for the customer, or that there was 5" of snow sitting on the roof!!  I told him I would call him when snow clears (which, btw, took weeks to clear). And I called him  today (4/14).  Didn't bother to take my name/# down.  Instead, his response was: "what town is the house in?"  I told him where it was.  His response, "call me in two weeks."  Mind you, not what I expected,  "Can I call you back to schedule an appointment (maybe he was on the road, maybe in the middle of work, whatever.....)?".  How about, "I am busy right now, can you leave your # with me?" Instead, a cold, business-like "call me in two weeks."

    First impressions!!
The problem in, in my opinion, is that this is likely a loss leader for him, too small a work to be bothered with (unless there is a potential $1000s in business like most completed  projects here were), and too busy to even extend a courtesy to the customer of assuring him that someone would call.  Instead, all I got was, "call me in a couple of weeks!"  They say no work is too small, bust most don't mean it.

I will call him as he suggested, but I doubt I will get much out of this deal.  Just thought i will warn the fellow Angie customers--good luck scheduling appointment with them, especially if your job is too small.  I will update here again after I have had a chance to actually get the work done--if I get lucky, that is.

  • It went very well. They were prompt, courteous, professional, and responsible. I had a lot of questions about switching to a gas burning fireplace. Nick was very patient and insightful. There was no pressure.
