AMetropolitan Moving & StorageExcellent. My wife and I moved our family (two kids and one large dog) from DC to Connecticut in the midst of a pandemic this summer. What was anticipated to be a high-stress series of mishaps turned out to be a no-stress smooth ride. Metropolitan was on time on both ends, respectful of the current health norms/protective measures, and did not damage or lose a thing. Seems like a low bar, but these days it's anyone's guess. There’s this online service where it had 5-10 different moving companies contact me back with an estimate and this company came in a couple of hundred bucks lower than everybody else. The movers were fantastic. They were very conscientious and careful with the furniture, and the made the move and everything very smooth. You can trust them they will not break your trust. ARoadway MovingI moved with Roadway in 2019 and I used them again because they were so good. The team is very organized in how they assessed my furniture and belongings so they knew how to load and unload the boxes and furniture in a way that wouldn't make it difficult for me to unpack especially in such a tight space like my studio apartment. ATikTok MovingThe TikTok Moving sent his crew and they arrived early with smiles and introduced themselves to us. After walking through the 3-story townhouse that we moved from, they started to work. Within a few hours all of our furniture and belongings are in their truck, and after another few hours they are sitting in our new home quite a long distance away. FI do not recommend this business to anyone. Complete bait and switch pricing. Do not let them store your items. They give you a price in writing and then take your items to their storage facility. Then when you schedule for the return of your items they tell you they will not honor the price you have in writing and try to charge you DOUBLE, and this was after we already paid thousands of dollars for the first part of our move! Completely unprofessional. We were threatened by David after being yelled at by him for hours when trying to get this pricing issue resolved. We told him we were going to write about our experience. He told us, “I wouldn’t do that. I know where you live, I know your name, I can do anything.” We reported his threat to our Sales person Joey who had no interest in hearing about it. They are now reported to the BBB. Do NOT use this company. It was a nightmare!

AVery smooth move. Monroe Moving Pro made the whole process from beginning to end stress free. MMP gave me an accurate and fair quote, did not bait and switch like other companies I called. MMP picked up items exactly when they said they would, they delivered when they said they would (a little early). The delivery was perfect. The team was friendly, respectful and efficient. David, one of the owners, is a real gentleman and a man of his word. David and his crew arrived on time of the day of the move, they worked quickly but diligently and efficiently. I could not believe how quickly they helped us finish packing and carried all items out of our old home and loaded into their truck. Hanna, the lead in customer service, was a real pleasure to deal with. She was patient and very attentive to all of my questions and concerns. Hanna provided a very simple and straightforward quote that was easy to understand. The quote itself was also very competitive compared to the quotes we've received from their competitors.
