    FRANK'S LANDSCAPING
Frank responded right away when I first messaged him thru Angies List. His quote was on the higher end but professionalism and quality of work made up for it. He was also there doing the job and didnt send over a B-Team. Overall, excellent experience and I already reached out to Frank for a quote on other projects.

    Poison Ivy Gone

Please find the response I received below. I feel this fee is high. I believe this is pretty high for a travel surcharge. I am about 60 minutes away.

Thank you for your interest in our services here at Poison Ivy Gone!

Unfortunately, based on the distance between your property and us we are unable to send a technician to do an on-site estimate for the removal of your poison ivy.  However, you are still within our removal service area and based on your location, we can offer a minimum service of a 2 person crew coming out and doing a minimum of 2 hours work on the property (a total of 4 labor hours).  The price for that is $1,050.00.  Should your poison ivy problem take longer than 2 hours to resolve, you would then have the option to sign off on additional time for the crew to stay and finish the removal.  This would be charged at a rate of $75.00 per hour per man ($150/hour for both men to continue working).

If you are interested in going ahead with the removal or if you have any questions regarding the minimum service quote, please do not hesitate to give us a call, we are happy to work with you to find a solution that suits your needs.

Thanks very much and have a wonderful day!

    Wildlife Tree & Landscaping Service
I used you're big deal hiring wildlife tree and landscape service offering a $400 job for $199. When owner arrived at my home, after viewing the property and discussing what to be done, he gave me a written estimate to do a days work on trees and bushes including debris disposal for $1200 including the big deal. The work agreed upon for an additional $800. He made no mention of truck load costs but after a few hours of works he raised the price $200 more because he needed to run more truckloads. I reluctantly agreed. His crew of four men including himself started at 7:30AM and left a little after 3:00PM. They removed three truck loads of debris from my property. They trimmed some trees on my neighbors property before I could redirect them and left trees and bushes on my property untrimmed. I expected more. The help were pleasant but difficult to understand.

    Revolution Property Maintenance
The first day we had 4 guys working nonstop to start planting. The next 3 times they came out we had 2 guys working to continue planting and clearing out debri. The final day we had 4 guys to knock out the mulching and trimming. At the end of each day the guys would talk me through everything they did that day. They were very professional and pleasant. They were very easy to work with.

    Wildlife Tree & Landscaping Service
We just purchased our home with a wooded lot and basically wanted a "back yard". We wanted space to grow grass, control for ticks, and eventually install a play area in the future for our young kids. As such, we wanted to choose a landscaper with a lot of experience and who was affordable (not to be mistaken for cheap). I gathered several estimates before choosing Patric mainly because it seemed too good to be true when he first gave me his quote. I re-read his reviews and was comfortable enough based on his Angie's List reputation to select Patric out of 5 other Angie's List contractors who were also A-rated. From first meeting Patric, he seemed very knowledgeable of the vegetation and trees I wanted cleared out and how to go about it the right way. After going over in detail what we wanted done, Patric excused himself for 15 minutes and came back with a quote right there and then. We told Patric that we are looking at other estimates and will contact the best of the bunch. A couple weeks (and a tree clearing permit later), we contacted Patric to get started on the job. I was anticipating at least a week or two lead time so I was really excited to hear Patric say, "I could start tomorrow." Patric and his crew arrived on time and started work at 7:30 am on July 3rd. Patric and his crew worked from July 3rd to the 5th (even on July 4th) explaining that he gets his holidays in the colder months. In all three days, Patric arrived at 7:30 am on the dot. This definitely showed a lot of dedication to his craft. On the first day, Patric and his crew cleared out all the leaves, brush, the 16 smaller trees and the 3 large piles of branches and big branch. On day two, Patric cut down and removed the three 50'-90' trees. On the last day, Patric and his crew grinded all the stumps, removed the remaining brush and left me with a nice open area of 3,600 sq feet. They cleaned up very nicely and put all planted brushes back where they belonged. I was left very impressed with Patric and very much looking forward to hiring him for Phase 2 of our back yard plan.

    FRANK'S LANDSCAPING
I contacted Frank's Landscaping through Angie's List on 6/11. Frank contacted me back on 6/22 and quickly apologized for the late reply stating he was busy catching up with work. I appreciate that he reached out to me unlike other contractors who I called/emailed the same day and haven't heard back from as of today. Frank seemed very professional and scheduled an appointment to survey the project and provide a quote.
The day of the estimate, I was unable to get to my house and I asked if Frank could survey the land on his own and provide me the quote. Frank was very willing to oblige my request. As Frank was on my property, I described to Frank over the phone what I was looking to get done. Frank wrote up the quote the same day and left it in my mailbox for my review.
I gave Frank's Landscaping a C (Fair) for overall experience. Price was a D because my closest estimate to Frank's $10,300 quote was $8,270 and lowest was $5,875 (from another Angie's List A-rated contractor). Responsiveness was a C despite it being almost 2 weeks before I heard back from Frank. To be fair, I felt Frank calling back at all was by far better customer service than never hearing from him like other contractors I reached out to also on Angie's List. Professionalism was C because once again, other than the 11 days it took for him to contact me back, he was otherwise very professional from his first phone call to the final quote which would lead me to still consider Frank in future projects.

    Wildlife Tree & Landscaping Service
We were in need of tree trimming as our tree line in the back yard was encroaching on the house. Phoned Wildlife Tree & Landscape Service on a Sunday morning and received a phone call back within an hour, and an appointment was set up for later that morning. Beyond the necessary tree trimming on two trees close to the house, he also trimmed 12 additional trees, clearing lower branches up to 6-7 feet and cut circles around all trees and mulched. Also cleared briar patches in several areas of yard, cut back growth along 'forest line', and removed patches of poison ivy.  Gutter cleaning service was also performed. Our yard looks great! We will most definitely be calling Patric again. Highly recommend him and his staff.

    BROTHERS LANDSCAPING
Please see above. Originally, when I first contacted Brothers I talked with them in person at our house that since this is a corner lot to please make sure the side yard was completed as  well as the front. There did not seem to be a problem when I signed their contract.
