AGarden State Home RemodelingWe purchased a home that was over 108 years old and needed a complete gut renovation for all 3 floors. We met with John Fiore and were very impressed with his responsiveness, flexibility, and partnership throughout this massive project. He responded to calls, email and texts within minutes, was always available and communicative through the process (which is hard to find but so valued, especially as we were living about 1.5 hours away during the renovation). John always did the right thing for the project (either proactively letting us know when changes needed to be made or absorbing costs into the project). For example, the floors got damaged during demo when combining two rooms. He just gave us new floors without asking us to pay because it was the right thing to do. Also, his team was meticulous about laying tiles, mapping out electrical, etc. If we had a problem or didn’t like something, they fixed it at no additional cost. John was so patient and calming throughout the renovation. One thing everyone warned us about was planning for the budget to double through a project this big. John’s team kept such meticulous track of the expenses (including light fixture, tiles, etc) and we actually received a credit towards our project because we stayed under budget for most of our selections. This is completely unheard of and I am so impressed with how organized their processes are. We really felt that Garden State made a big and challenging construction process as positive of an experience as possible. We hired them to do our back deck and have referred them to many of our friends and neighbors who have been blown away by the renovation of our hike. We will hire them for all future projects based on our really great experience with them!- Ishita R.

AGold Star Home Improvements, INCTheir work was amazing. When we moved into our house we loved the kitchen cabinets but didn’t love the color. Hakan and his team painted our cabinets and they looked original / brand new. Amazing work! We had them paint our family room and dining room as well and it looked awesome, we get compliments every time someone steps into our home! AI will really start to say is the best experience I ever see, Vincent went above and beyond to get the best quality and what ever we need done, job finish before the time we agreed to and he was available anytime even Sunday I call him answering all my questions and concern I have, and he is not cheap in quality he got me the best cabinet and flooring I will highly recommend and his construction manger Roy and his team was always on time and really professional they clean after they finish so never felt like construction in the house very nice people to work with I recommend them all day long

FAgreed on a price to do our sidewalk with Jose. Got cash for him. He told us a time and day. We got one message to do it a little later. Waited our entire day for him to come. Called his office many times. They told us he was ‘in a meeting’. Wasted our whole day. I don’t get it. I guess he doesn’t want our money. Extremely rude and unprofessional. I wish I could make an appt with him and then not show up so he would know how it feels.

AMy wife and I were shopping around for contractors in North Jersey and Garden State came to our rescue. At first, we didn't know where to start, what material we were going for, and were kind of depending on the ideas and input of an expert, and, sure enough, our representative had the knowledge to get our project done. Our guests love the double vanity and walk-in, with ceramic tile finishes. The guys that helped with the work were professional and courteous. No complaints here!
