  • Very well. All of the animals were treated well and the price was very reasonable. I have gone broke many times using other vets. This place is not trying to take every last dollar you have. I really appreciate this.

  • What I like about Metuchen Vet is that there aren't too many cooks in the kitchen-- just two vets, a few assistants, and two receptionists. So you're not dealing with a different person all the time who has no idea who you are. We were away for three years, and when we came back, they still remembered us!
Also, Dr. Rogan isn't one of those providers who seems to want to sell you all the services or products you could possibly need. He's more of a minimalist, so he won't make you feel bad for not wanting your cat to have lots of expensive and intrusive exploratory tests. But he'll tell you if he thinks something's really necessary.

  • We've been taking our dog since we got him, about 4 1/2 years. They doctors are very friendly and take time to answer all your questions. The receptionists and techs are also very friendly. I haven't taken our dog to other vets so I can't compare prices. A basic visit is about $60. Annual visit with immunizations runs about $120. They're great at getting me in for last minute appointments. We've moved out of the area and now live about 30 minutes away, with 3 vets within a 1 mile radius, but I'll probably continue to go to County Vet.

  • It went very well.
The people at the front desk were friendly and happy to see me and my dog.
The vet saw up on time, and devoted enough time to answer all of my questions.
She got down on the floor to give the puppy shots so as not to scare him by putting him on the table (a very nice touch).
She never made my feel as thought I was asking stupid questions.

  • I went in with many questions.
The Dr was very patient and did not make fun of my long list of questions.
She took the time to develop a relationship with my puppy.
I was very happy with all aspects of the visit.

  • We have been using them for about 5 years now. The only thing is they have 4 or 5 different vets and I would like to stay with one vet. They all have a different style. They are good to him. Boarding is about $30 a day. They take them out to play a few times a day and they have their own area. They wash them, feed him based on your schedule, and will do special treats for them if you allow. They notice if the pets get anxious or upset. They keep them caged up since they have so many dogs. They are gentle with them and keep a vet on site. It is a good, safe environment. The only problem I have is sometimes the waiting gets a little too long. A 25 minute wait can turn into a hour and half wait. They are always too busy. There are always two or three dogs waiting. 3 out 4 times I have had to wait. The waiting room is sub par, not that great. It is small, maybe 100 sq ft.

  • it went very well. We saw Dr. Mansour. He was patient and attentive with our dog. He gave us an ample amount of time and also gave me ways to save money on medicine needed to treat a lifelong problem.
    - Jennifer L.
  • It is a small animal clinic. Dr. Goldsmith is really good with the animals. They insists on very experiences. He is very knowledgeable and he is very good with animals. At the office one is greeted and one has to wait for your turn. The office is very inviting.

  • I have a 13-year-cat with hyperthyroid, another 13-year old cat in good health but overweight, and a really really old cat (we think she's 19 or 20) who is in excellent shape. Dr. Murtha has been taking care of them for years. I feel like they are in good hands, my hyperthyroid kitty is gaining back weight and all are being kept healthy, vaccinated, teeth cleaned when needed, etc, in a pleasant atmosphere where you get the feeling everybody and quot;getsand quot; animals.

  • The doctor here is wonderful. I rate them A for their service. While I was holding my kitties I told a prayer and cried and the doctor cried too. He really is an animal lover. I have never seen anybody put priority over an animal even if you could not pay for his services. I have gone through all surgeries with animals having all kind of problems and the doctor did most of it. He is very good. He will tell you point blank if you are wasting your energy on saving an animal’s life. He does not paint you a wrong picture. However, he goes an extra mile to make sure that the pet is able to cope. The price here is the cheapest compared to anywhere. Punctuality is a problem. If an animal is hit by a car, he will take his time out and do the surgery immediately. He has a waiting room full of people. He puts priority according to the needs.
    - Teresa S.
