Electrician reviews in Maywood

Andrew was very professional and thorough. He identified a faulty GFCI outlet in my laundry room, swapped it out, and even replaced the electrical box with a larger one because the existing one was too small for the amount of wiring. Will definitely work with Andrew again!

In the beginning service started great until it came to discuss prices. Electrician wanted to charge $600 dollars on work on a new water heater. I said that the new system was new as well as the electrical work so I was surprised at how much he was charging to supposedly replace a part on the electrical panel. I asked since the work is new and that it was covered under warranty that perhaps it best that we call the manufacturer. He said that most likely it wouldn't be covered and that I needed to decide now since he had another job to go to. I paid the service charge which was $120. I called the manuacturer and explained to them we weren't having the best luck with electricians and plumbers. They told me the parts weren't even close to 100...so they were basically charging over 500 to install one little part. The manuacturer sent their technician and the tech came and said that what they said was an electrical problem wasn't even the case that it was something else and it was remedied immediately. I would shop around and save money instead o blowing money away on something that wasn't even the problem. We saved 500.

They responded though had to be reminded to send estimate. They did not want to do work when we asked for it in 2 phases. They said they were too busy and since our job was now small (four fixtures) it wasn't in their availability. They said they'd call back if they had an opening --never heard from them again! I guess 'no job too small' is not their motto.

The communication was great. They came and within one hour rerouted an electrical wire, fixed a fuse that kept shorting due to a light fixture, and advised on a smoke detector issue. I would definitely hire them again.

Michael returned my phone call right away. He arrived exactly at the agreed upon time. Mike repaired and replaced the 2 fixtures in about an hour. We spoke about some other electrical work that needs to be done, and I feel confident that I will be calling Amp'd Up Electrical for all my future electrical needs.

George came to do the repair even before the scheduled time.  He was courteous, professional, and he knew exactly what had to be done.  He replaced the fan in less than an hour.  We would be happy to use his services in the future.

    Paps Electric LLC
Paps Electric determined what the issues where and explained to us the various options available to rewire the connections, repair the fixtures and replace damaged components. Paps Electric was attentive, professional and efficient. The light fixture and the electric outlet are working. I would hire Paps Electric again. I would recommend Paps Electric to friends and family. I did not feel pressured to hire Paps Electric or to have them do work than what necessary or needed. Paps Electric was flexible when it came down to scheduling the appointment.

Rob was very professional in all interaction with me: his work is top shelf with much attention to detail! I would highly recommend him; I was very happy with the work; & he has a great crew of workers! very polite & professional in their manner!  The town inspector was very complimentary of his work; passed inspection. I had 4 other electricians give me estimates prior to Rob; I'm sure I had the right man for the job in Rob!

Hudson Plumbing Air Conditioning & Drain Cleaning
We were extremely happy with the work.  Before Mo came if we wanted hot water in the shower we had to turn a switch in the basement by the slop sink down.  Then if we wanted hot water for the washing machine we had to turn the same switch up.
Mo was able to correct the problem when  he installed the new slop sink.
Previously the washing machine emptied into the slop sink.  Now we have a direct outlet to the waste line.  Same is true for the water coming into the washing machine. It no longer comes from a hose attached to the slop sink instead it comes directly into the washing machine from the new water line.
I also wanted a water outlet to the back yard . He installed a frost free hose to the outside.
We will use him again and have done so.
