  • I'm so disappointed with Shore Toyota. My hubby's grandfather took his car for an oil change today which was free with the pruchase of his car. They in turn tell him he needs to replace his rear brakes and that his calipers are seized. It would only cost $802. Well, that's funny because my hubby just did that work last week for $55 including the tool needed. The calipers by the way aren't seized. You should be ashamed- trying to take advantage of an eighty-six year old man!!!  I hope potential customers are dilegent and check the reviews because you have so many claiming you scam people.  Unfortunately, I agree!!!!!  I believe Grandpop was only targeted based on his ag.  I've personally taken my father's FJ several times and NEVER dealt with such nonsense!!!!

    Fred Kneble has been taking care of my cars for 15 years. He kept my Pontiac Bonneville on the road until it had over 180,000 miles on it. The same excellent service kept my Mazda MPV running until I sold it with over 160,000 miles on it. He has kept my cars safe and reliable. He is honest, prompt and very reasonable. Kneble's is now taking care of my Subaru Legacy. I have every reason to expect the quality of my past car experiences with Kneble's to continue. It is very important to me. I count on it.

  • I have always been satisfied with Shore Toyota's service. I never worry about getting back in my car and finding greasy hand marks. THe car is always ready when ythey say it will be. They provide a suttle if it is needed.

  • For an automatic car wash I got more than I expected. I told them I just came back from a long trip and there were bugs baked on the front of the car. I watched while they gave the front of my car more attention then usual. You just have to ask for extra care. I have been to other automatic car washes and they don't even dry the car for you. MGM dries it and even does inside along the door frame and cleanes the windows inside too.

  • I have been to Pep-boys before. They have a very friendly and HELPFUL staff. This time I went for new mud guards and wipers before going on a long trip I needed the current ones changed. The floor clerk was able to show me just what I needed.  Once before, I needed a headlamp, it was closing time, and dark out when I discovered my headlamp was out.  One of the emplyoees installed it for me at no charge. Always nice and helpful.

  • This was an insurance company job. They did very good work and took care of my car rental for the time that they had it because they had it for a longer time than the original estimate. This was because there was a very large storm that had gone through and they were swamped with work. I got the car in there at the time it was supposed to be.

  • I have never run into such a lying thieving ##@@tard! I brought my car in for a necessary repair which was done; at which point he told me he checked my plugs and they needed replacing. In a PT cruiser there is a $30 gasket that MUST be replaced to check the plugs so I was understandably concerned; seeing as I had recently replaced them 10,000 miles ago with platinum plugs that last 100,000 miles! His answer was "Uhh well... I guess somebody gapped them wrong. NO WAY! His next try/lie was "Your belts are due to be replaced." Yeah, true if the car had 100.000 miles on it but they only had 69,000 and were fine. When I went to pick up the car, for which he charges (get this) $100 per hour labor he informed me my right front bearing needed to be replaced because his super mechanic hearing could hear it squealing (nobody else could of course.) Well, need less to say there was NOTHING wrong with the bearing, or the belts or the plugs and the car has another 30,000 miles on it since then with no problems or special bearing noises that ONLY he can hear.. WHAT A SCAM. WHAT A THIEF!
