Pet Care & Health reviews in Marlton

Excellent service as always from the staff at A&B. We have been coming here for years with our dogs. The staff are genuine animal lovers and are highly competent. The vets here are honest and do not recommend any unnecessary treatment, meds, etc. This visit was just a routine nail trim, but our dogs are always a bit nervous. The techs are very good and were able to complete the trim without incident, which is no small feat as our dogs usually squirm around and make it difficult.

Very well. Everyone is super friendly and caring with the animals. Also very knowledgeable about our pet. The vet was extremely comfortable holding the hamster and manipulating it to complete the exam. This was our 2nd visit with a hamster, and quite satisfied with both.

At pick up all three dogs were groomed exactly as asked. All three were also calm and wearing matching bandanas. The miniature poodle has a history of being high-strung and difficult to handle but the team the The Barking Lot have always been able to do a good job with her - even putting a small bow into the hair on her head.

From the first phone call, to the visit, to the service, we were very happy with Animal & Bird Healthcare Center. You can tell the staff really loves animals. One staffer kept kissing our pig on the forehead as he was getting his nails clipped, which is exactly what I would do. That made me very happy. Our pig got the proper diagnosis, and he is doing very well with his eyes clearing up. We have a follow-up appointment, and will also be bringing in our other guinea pig for a check up.

Our first dog, sweet as he is, is a German Shepherd Dog....with big poops.  And this service has been great!  The dog is not happy when his poops are removed, but the humans are delighted!  I recommend this service to anyone!  Fabulous!

Every time we took our dog, Maggy, to the host's home, we had a perfect experience.  If there was a problem with the host or my dog, Steve was available to help support the host family.  My dog looked forward to going over to Diane's home.  She was always happy and taken care of.  I could enjoy myself while I was away because I never had to worry about the care and happiness of my fur-baby.

First time I ever boarded my cat Purry. I selected Lakeside based on reviews on Angie's List.  I took a tour of the facilities prior to making my selection.  I found it clean, well organized and professional employees. I liked the fact that the Cattery is on a separate floor and that Lakeside offers grooming.

Picked up Purry 15 days later and he was well groomed and content. I will definitely use Lakeside again.

I have been using House Paws for many years now, and even though Dr. Lisa is not the one to always come out, (she started the practice ) all the vets have been great with Bruno.  He is a Mastiff/Dane mix.  185 lbs!

Mr. Hamburg was given a special code to use to enter my home as I have a security system which allowed me to do this. He agreed to use the code when he entered and when he left my home. When I returned from my vacation, I reviewed the days that Mr. Hamburg was in my home which indicated that not only did he not go to the house as agreed upon three times a day with the exception of the morning I left, he neglected to ensure that my dogs eye medications were given to him as prescribed which is three times a day. He did not own up to not coming to the house even though I told him I had 100% proof from my security company about how many times and when he used his code to enter my home. At one point he blamed his partner for the miscommunication and even said that another employee was to come to my home for my pets even though he initially said he was the person who would be visiting them. Essentially Mr. Hamburg lied about coming to the house to take care of my pets and left my dog in my house without the ability to go outside to urinate for a minimum of twelve hours on two days and for fifteen hours on one day. As a result of this I will NEVER use him again and caution others about believing anything he says. While he did not charge me anything for his services even though I was willing to pay him for the four visits he made I don't believe he can be trusted because he is not a man of his words. Mr. Hamburg was also advised via telephone conversation I had with him about my concerns and his dishonesty in providing this service and putting my dog's impaired vision even more at risk. If it wasn't because I have an alarm system I would not have known this about Mr. Hamburg and how he cannot be TRUSTED.

Marion took excellent care of my dog and cat  Miyagi and Mushu for two days. They needed to be fed and Miyagi who is very old and has glaucoma  needed to be taken outside on a leash in my yard. She also had to administer eye ointment and drops to Miyagi's eyes so this was also done. Miyagi does not do well when I go out of town and is the happiest when he is home. Both of them were very responsive when Marion came to the house to first meet them and I felt comfortable giving her access to my home.   Unfortunately when I wanted Marion to take care of my pets in August 2014 she failed to get back to me as to whether or not she had a back up person to use if she went out of town. Her follow up about this was very disappointing.
