How to Make Kitchen Appliances Last Longer

Appliance Repair reviews in Marlton

    Fisher's Appliance Service
He then proceeded to tell me my model could not be fixed, it would be $700 to attempt a repair with no guarantee, it needed a flux capacitor, and heating coils in the water lines, and a bunch of other mumbo jumbo. He had the audacity to say "I'm sensing some anger here". If I wanted a shrink, I'd call one. I wanted appliance repair. He took my $100 and left. Telling me that his real expertise was aeronautical engineering and he had a wide skill set. Next time my jet plane goes on the fritz I'll be sure to call him....NOT. Terrible service. Terrible customer relation skills. And a rip off. Do not use this service.

    American Appliance* Marlton Store
They took an deposit, and never came to repair it. They never returned my deposit. It was three hundred dollars for just the part. They never came back. I have my mother and father. They are elderly. It was their washer and dryer, and they took advantage. I told them. They have a thing that they will come out for $79.99, and they will take off. You keep the $79.99, and they take the rest back. They didn't even come back. That was horrible. Its been weeks. They didn't give me my money back, or even came back. I wasn't the only one who was ripped off.

    1. Called him Sep 2016 to replace refrigerator control board. That went well. 2. While he was there, asked if he would take a look at my dishwasher which was leaking. He returned with a door gasket and fixed that too saying "If continues to leak, give me a call". A few weeks later, I left a voice message letting him know the dishwasher started leaking again. I never got the courtesy of a return call. 3. Fast forward 4 months to today Jan 28. A very large HVAC company had said I needed to replace my entire HVAC system. I'm thinking I'd simply have the 3 bad parts replaced or at least get a 2nd opinion. I like keeping $ in town so thought of Aaxon. I filled out a contact form on Aaxon's website. That was 7 days ago. Again, did not get the courtesy of a reply or call. If people are too busy, which does happen, fine. But, at least have the decency to let the buyer know, or risk getting a bad reputation. Only reason I'm not giving all Fs is because the initial repair for the refrigerator went well.

    Dixie Total Home Maintenance
The job was started within a few weeks of first contacting Dixie. Other contractors either didn't want to do the work or told us it would be months before they could start. The workmen can when they said they would, did a good job and cleaned up after themselves.

    Sears Appliance Repair
Sears is the worst repair service I have ever encountered. My repair was scheduled from 10am-2pm. Then they updated the time frame from 12:45 - 2:45 pm. Then at 2pm, they canceled the appointment. I took off work to get my Washer fixed and they ended up not coming. Not even a phone call. They just updated the status on the repair schedule web page. DON'T EVER USE THEM!!

    Appliance Werks
After checking Angie's List. around 11:00 am yesterday, we called Appliance Werks (AW) to repair our refrigerator. The repairman came on time (about 2:15 pm) and proceeded to diagnose and service the refrigerator. The problem was dirt build-up in the freezer defrost system. He completed the repair in under an hour and then left around 3:15 pm. Just at 4:00 pm, the refrigerator began making a loud continuing noise. I called AW and spoke to Craig (one of the owners) who reassured me that 1) the new problem would be rectified; and 2) someone would return to our house to fix it. At about 5:30 pm, Paul (the other owner) arrived and within 3 minutes had resolved the issue. During the dirt removal process, a freezer fan was moved out of position and was touching another part in the freezer. Its spinning against this part was causing the noise. It took Paul about 3 minutes or so to put everything right. Considering everything, our interactions with Appliance Werks were pleasant, reassuring and - above all - professional. Should we need another appliance repaired, we will have no hesitation in calling Appliance Werks again.

    Appliance Werks
Paul showed up at the appointed time and immediately upon looking at our clothes dryer, he knew exactly what the problem was and how to repair it.  The machine needed a new wheel assembly as one of them had seized up.
While working on the dryer we asked him if he knew anything about refrigerators and he asked what the problem was.  We told him that the water dispenser in our GE refrigerator wasn't functioning and he said he would look at it as he had some extra time allotted for us.
Now mind you, we had called GE repair about a month ago for the same problem and were told by the serviceman that the dispenser was frozen, could not be fixed and it would cost more than $600 for a new door.  We were thinking of purchasing a new refrigerator bot the prices were prohibitive so we decided to live without a water dispenser.
Well, after repairing the dryer, Paul took one look at the refrigerator and said he knew exactly what was wrong with it, had parts on his truck and could fix it in 20 minutes.  We told him to do it and he quickly repaired it.  Turned out it needed a new ice door flap and he installed a heating unit to keep the water dispenser from freezing.  Just about 4 hours later, refrigerator is happily giving us ice water as it should and we are extremely pleased we called Appliance Werks through Angie's List recommendations.
If you live in the Cherry Hill, Marlton area and need appliance repairs, please call Appliance Werks for their services.  Paul was courteous, professional and knowledgeable.

    Fisher's Appliance Service
This was simply the greatest service provider I have ever used for in house work.  He was exactly on time, exactly perfect on the issue, and perfectly punctual for the repair.  The unit works perfectly and he was 100 % correct.
He is local, experienced, and is a no non sense guy.  He is the only one I will use for all of my appliance repairs.
My Samsung Ice maker stopped working and was making a terrible buzzing sound for the past year.  Another company attempted a quick fix and failed.  Fisher came over and solved the issue, not cheap but fair, immediately.  That's all a home owner wants.  A fiar estimate and a perfect execution.

    Fisher's Appliance Service
Jonathan Fisher was very professional and punctual.  He was able to diagnose the problem and its solution in a matter of minutes.  I had been having a problem with another appliance repair company in getting the door gasket.  Good thing because that would have not fixed the problem!  It was misdiagnosed, and it would have helped but for a short time, and then it would start leaking again.
Jonathan really knows what he is doing, and i will definitely use him again.
