    RJ's Construction Services LLC.
One bedroom door was hung the wrong way, cheap material was used on the closet doors and transitions on the wood floor to carpet were different colors. Charged us for work that was never done. Recently had the home inspected. Inspector reported that "deck does not appear to have been professionally constructed." Per the report, the deck lacked footings, bolts and drip cap flashing are missing. There's an excessive span between stair stringers causing the steps to bow and the outer band of the deck is a single 2x8. There are also issues with the sliding glass doors. Roger Johnson has stopped answering his phone since I've provided him with a copy of the report. I do have pictures but am unable to upload due to file type.

I highly recommend Dennis. He is a quality guy who does quality work at a fair price. He says what he will do and then does what he said he would do at the time he says he will do it. i enjoy working with him on projects in our home.

    GQ Renovations LLC
When we purchased our new house, we hired Devin to paint the entire interior of our house. Not only was he professional when he came for his estimate, but it continued throughout the whole process. The price he gave us I felt was extremely fair and reasonable when comparing it to the amount of work we needed to have done. Devin showed up exactly when he said he was going to. Him and his team were extremely punctual, and professional. They got right down to business and remained focused throughout the entirety of the job. He paid close attention to every detail, and even fixed minor things that were not originally included in the cost estimate at no cost, expressing to me that it will come out that much better. This showed me that he truly cared about my happiness, and the quality of the job. Upon completion of the job, he left our house extremely clean, and made sure that we were completely satisfied with the job before leaving. He also assured us that if there was something we did not see right away, to call him and he will make sure its promptly taken care of. Later in the Season when it got warmer, we had Devin Power wash the entire exterior of our house, all landscaping, all fencing, and all decking. Again, he was punctual and professional. The job came out outstanding, it really brought our house back to life. He got rid of the green on the siding and fencing from the shade, and gave all of our white vinyl that brand new shine again. Overall Experience: To say that we were please with Devin's work is an understatement. We are beyond happy with the outcome of all of the projects we have had Devin do, and we are currently waiting for him to free up to have him so some smaller projects around our house.

    Vincent John's Construction LLC
Vincent was great. Extremely knowledgeable and attentive. Only contractor that was willing to work with a tight timeframe, and he delivered in a big way! The only thing that was better than dealing with Vincent was the work that he did. Will be using his services in any future projects for sure

    Clean Lines Painting & Powerwashing
The painting project went extremely well.  Cornelios was prompt and let us know exactly what was going to happen and when.  Each day the room they were working in was cleaned and put back the way it was in the morning so that we were not inconvenienced in any way.  They did an excellent job and we would definitely use them again...

    By James Rocco
After sandy hit we went through so much and we had to deal with so many contractors some good some not so good but when all the work was complete there was only one final stage left and that was the entire interior needed to be sanded spackled and painted, I searched tons of webs sites looking for some one that can come in and be professional and cost efficient.
I had James Rocco come to my home to look at what needed to be done, he and I walked through the entire home and James gave me some great ideas for each area of the home and never once talked about price....you could see the passion James Rocco has for his work and I felt very confident I found the right person to tackle this project...that's all I needed to see from James Rocco for him take my home and make it beautiful once again...he finished on- time with no additional cost and gave me a beautiful finish that will last for years to come, James Rocco took my old crown and base moldings and made them shine..James was very neat and clean and made sure the home was spotless....Not one bad moment during the 7 days of James Rocco and crew finishing my home, he is a stand up person, I wish I could advertise for him, he is that good...The perfect choice for any painting Project.

    Czumbles Home Improvement Contractor

Czumble painting gets an A+ from us because:
    * From the very beginning in getting the proposal to a return to follow-up on a very minor touch-up, the owner and his workers      were just terrific!
    * The price was as good or better than the 5 other contractors we contacted
    *  By terrific, I mean that they were always professional, polite, competent and very  neat
     * They lightly sanded , dusted, wet-wiped where needed in their preparation for painting
     * All outlets, lighting fixtures, furniture etc. were removed or covered prior  to painting and carefully replaced afterwards
    * They arrived on time (you could set your watch by them), worked harmoniously throughout the day and cleaned and left their equipment neatly at the end of each day
    * The owner (Doug) even made suggestions (like an accent wall) that made our living room just looking super
Obviously, we recommend Czumble painting and thank Angie's list for enabling us to find this company

    Cure All Household Services LLC
Anthony communicates well - mostly via email.  He arrived on time and his work is excellent in quality.  From the time of his initial quote ( which was fair)  the job increased - one of the bathrooms had a tape issue which only showed up a couple of weeks before Anthony was to start.  When he arrived and I showed it to him he was relaxed about it and no problems retaping.  We knew we had a taping job in our master bath which wasn't in the original work request, but had him take a look at it and again he was easy to work with and this was added.  Along the way, we showed him the outside of our entry door....it had swollen wood moulding and he easily replaced all of it.  Anthony is easy to work with and his work is quality for a fair price.  When we need more work done, I will call him again!!!  Thanks for great work, Anthony!

    Triumph Construction LLC
We found Jim Toner, owner of Triumph Construction through Angie?s List.  We were impressed by his reviews and interviewed him to repair our Hurricane Sandy damaged house.
Jim replied to our query promptly and met with us to review our damages and discuss the project.  We received a written, detailed proposal within days of our meeting.   We were impressed with his professionalism and empathy at our situation. Unlike some other contractors we have talked to and heard about, Jim didn?t seem to be looking to profit from the problems of others.  After having several discussions with Jim about the project, we made the decision to hire Triumph to perform the work.  In addition to hiring him ourselves, we recommended him to neighbors who were also flood damaged.  Jim has performed work for our neighbors and they also were very pleased.
The scope of work on our house was rather large and included multiple building trades.  Due to water intrusion, we had to gut the floors and bottom 2 feet of drywall on the entire first floor and garage.  In addition to the flood damage remediation/renovation that was necessary, we elected to perform some upgrades that we had been contemplating before the storm.   The areas that were worked on included two bedrooms, a craft room, a full bathroom, entry foyer, utility room and garage.
The tasks performed by Jim and his crew included replacing drywall, removing and replacing all interior doors, and removing and replacing all interior trim.  Jim also performed the demo of bathroom down to the studs and arranged to have an old plumbing leak uncovered during bathroom demo repaired.  He also repaired a rotted framing member from old plumbing leak.  After this, he renovated the bathroom, which included an upgrade from a standard bathtub to a Jacuzzi tub with a heater.  We also added a window inside the tub/shower area (the original bathroom had no window).  The exterior of our house is sided with a plastic siding that mirrors the look of cedar shakes.  I was worried how the finished window would look but Jim trimmed it out perfectly and it matches the trim of the original windows and looks like it has always been there.
Jim was very open to our changes/additions to the scope of work for the project, and was always able to develop a plan and solution to all of the additional work we decided to have done.    While the house was ripped apart, we asked Jim to make a couple of changes in storage areas to fix issues that had always been an annoyance.  We had the swing of one closet door reversed and moved a wall in between two closets to make better use of storage in a walk-in-closet.   Jim built something in my laundry room that helps with storage of cleaning supplies.   In a magazine, I had seen a built-in shelving unit that made use of the hollow space inside a wall and wanted something similar for my laundry room.  Since half the drywall had been pulled out anyway, it seemed a good time to try to get this done.  I spoke to another builder who couldn?t understand what I was trying to accomplish and wasn?t willing to try to build this.  Jim understood what I was trying to explain and got it done.  In fact, the work was so perfect its magazine worthy.  I was looking for some functional shelves and he gave me beautiful finished carpentry.  Jim also pulled out some impractical old cabinetry in the laundry room and repaired the drywall, spackled wall and painted the entire room.
We had discovered during the renovation that a prior addition to our house (a small room that I use as a craft room) had been built over a crawlspace with no access.  We had to cut a hole in the craft room subfloor to gain access to the crawlspace so the wet insulation could be pulled out and the space dried.  We weren?t sure how to proceed with the repair since we didn?t want to close it back up in case we ever had to get in there again.  Jim came up with a solution.  When he installed the new porcelain floor tile, he fashioned a trapdoor with a clever pull up handle.  Hopefully we?ll never have to use it, but it?s good to know that it is there.
Jim finished up by painting our entire first floor (walls, ceilings, doors and trim).  The painting was excellent.
Jim also made recommendations as we recovered from the storm to help us mitigate damage and prevent problems from the storm damage in the future.  This was information he knew from the work contractors had done after Hurricane Katrina.   For example, he shared with us information about how to avoid mold damage and electrical fires caused by flood waters.   And he recommended that we have all the subfloors and wall framing members screwed down as the original nails and screws holding them were submerged in flood water and were rusting.  He learned that many homes damaged by Hurricane Katrina ended up with squeaky floors and unsound walls years after the storm as the rusting screws gave way.   And to confirm that he wasn?t making this up to inflate the job, he only charged a minimum amount to secure all our subfloors and walls on the entire first floor.
Jim kept in regular contact during the project, keeping us informed of any progress and issues.  He also spent quite a bit of time during non-normal business hours at the house.  He was aware how anxious we were to get back to normal and was always willing to work late or on the weekends to accomplish this.  At the same time he was very respectful of our weekend hours and always made sure to check if it was OK if he or his crew would be there until late on a Friday evening or early Saturday morning.   Jim made some important suggestions along the way and took advantage of any deals available to him to make our job better and cost the same or less.  For instance, he came upon an opportunity to purchase solid doors and was able replace our original hallow doors at no additional cost.
Jim and his crew were always willing to help us recover from Hurricane Sandy in any way they could.  When our town posted the deadline for putting out Hurricane debris we had not had the time to dismantle and cut up our above ground pool and large, heavy garden planter box that the hurricane had destroyed.  It was New Years Eve weekend and we had no idea how we were going to get this done.  On very short notice, the guys from Triumph dismantled the collapsed pool and planter and got them to the curb before the deadline and for no additional charge.
He and his crew are perfectionists and took great care to make sure the finished product was beautiful and that we were happy along the way.  We could not be more pleased with Jim and the work done by Triumph Construction.
