Interior Painting reviews in Livingston

    LVPainting llc
Several members of my family have used Luis and his crew for partial and full house painting projects. The results have been awesome! This company is very professional to deal with, from estimation through completion. My project included tedious wallpaper removal and extensive wall prep, including replacement of a couple of areas of sheetrock where mold was discovered. While much of the project was painting, Luis and crew did some carpentry, including moulding and a chair rail. I am thrilled with the finished product!

    Franklin Painting LLC
I had an appointment for an estimate and rI earranged my work schedule to make this appointment. I waited over an hour and 1/2 there was a no show. I emailed them to tell them it was unprofessional. 1 minute later, I get call saying they can't make it. Really? Ya think. They had no intention of calling me until I brought it to their attention. Please respect people's time. If you are going to be late or not able to make the appointment, don't call an hour and half after the appointment.

    JACK OF ALL TRADES
Jack is excellent professional. He does advise or suggest in the best interest of the customer. One of the few these days who is not money minded. I was relaxed when we gave him the project not thinking about surprises (cost, time).

    World of Color
I hired A world of color to paint my house. They came and gave a quote. The owners wife called several times to discuss the quote as well as color matching. When the painter came to start the job he was hostile and said this job was quoted wrong and he wont lose money. When I called the owners wife (who I had been communicating with) I was told I would have to pay more because I wasn't home when the quote was written. However she had no problem going over that quote and discussing the deposit (even though I wasnt home) VERY unprofessional. I do not recomend using them!!

    Emerson Construction
Emerson's team was friendly, professional, mostly punctual, with many skill sets (plumbing, electrical, building, tiling, roofing, HVAC). This project involved coordinating the start date with a demolition specialist I contracted for the chimney removal and 1/2 bathroom demolition down to studs. While the demolition contractor provided his license information, etc. Emerson went in person to submit all permit paperwork, personally dealt with inspectors, and even kindly submitted permits for both demolition and rebuild under his license to accelerate the start date. Emerson's pricing excluded demolition and any fixtures or finishing pieces. The project was estimated to last 4 weeks, and took just over 8 weeks to complete (weekdays only). Lesson learned? Always expect to double your estimated work period! During this time, our 1 functional shower broke, and Emerson agreed to help us with the repair (replacing the shower trim, w/ existing valve) as his people were onsite. Granted, he charged us about what an emergency plumber would have without communicating the amount upfront ($300), so I'm not sure that was the most economical route, but he made it convenient. The only area I would say we had some frustration was in ongoing communication (status, materials update, discussing issues, etc.) with Emerson himself. There were occasions where I should have been contacted to discuss an issue with tile, etc. but rather than do so promptly, Emerson waited until we were able to connect in person, which happened maybe once a week, delaying the process. After this occurred a few times, I began to contact his foreman (Albert) directly, who was much better with communicating updates or questions. There was no point where I felt our project was being neglected so he could focus on other new jobs, mainly because we had our foreman, Albert, as the point person for this job. That was key for us. There were days where no one was present moving the job forward though, and communication to help us understand status at those times would have been helpful for our peace of mind. New or unfamiliar people working in your home while you're not present is always stressful, though I felt we established a reasonable level of trust from the start. Emerson warranted his team's work for 2 years from date of completion (today, 6/12/18) which gives me peace of mind in case of future issues. For now, we're finished and our new bathroom is beautiful!

    Emerson Construction
Emerson is one of the best contractors I have come across. He is very responsive and punctual. He finished the work few days before he had committed. Once the work was done, he cleaned the surroundings and I did not have to do anything. The best thing I like about him is that he would pick up phone and come over even if I call him now. He is the best in his field with workmanship and professionalism. I highly recommend him for anyone's job

    Puglisi Renovations LLC
It couldn't have gone better! After a disastrous experience with the first contractor I hired, I found Puglisi Renovations through Angie's list and there is a reason they are so highly rated. After significant water damage, and significant delays cause by my first contractor, my daughter was sleeping on an air mattress in our living room for more than a month. Cristina was incredibly sympathetic and was able to fit me in to their schedule, despite being incredibly busy with other jobs. I was a little nervous about being the possibility of being treated as an afterthought, but my fears were completely misplaced - Communication was terrific, and the job was completed incredible quickly and incredibly well. Everything was done professionally with care, and we are extremely happy with the results. The cost was very fair, and we will definitely use Puglisi Renovations again.

Triangle's Painting & Home Improvement LLC
Triangle's painting is definitely the best company I've hired. I was extremely pleased with their work ethic. Gerardo was very professional and attentive. I highly recommend his company to anyone who needs any type of home improvement. Their prices were the most affordable and they finished the work in a timely manner.

    Handyman Matters
I purchased a 4-hour coupon for $385, and I paid for an additional 4 hours ($400), with a total cost of $785. I had a few items on the list that could not be addressed due to time limitations; however, I added a number of items to the list that were addressed. The time/money spent ended up being more than I planned for, but ultimately, I was happy to have eliminated a number of tasks on my to-do list. Most importantly, the handyman was very professional, accommodating, respectful and punctual. The office manager was also very accommodating; she was also extremely responsive and quite helpful in assisting me with prioritizing the tasks. Great experience overall!

    Capstone Painting Contractors
I hired Tommy and Dina to paint the exterior of our house. They came to our house and wrote up an estimate for $3,000. We gave them a $1,000 check as a deposit. They never came back to paint and every time I call they have an excuse. They said their truck broke down, had a family emergency, etc... Basically they took our $1,000. They scammed us.
