Exactly as I had hoped. Devin and his crew were very professional and thorough. It was a pleasure having them here to do the work, and the job was completed before the anticipated due date. As an aside -- I had them paint the ceiling a rose-pink, and they never even snickered!! I will be hiring Devin again.

Excellent! Alex and his team were amazing. They paid attention to every detail, were punctual, reliable, professional and truly care. They transformed my bathrooms into something straight out of an HGTV episode. I highly recommend them!

Ryan and his crew did a excellent job remodeling our main bathroom. He offered advice on how to better manage the space we had to turn a single sink vanity into a double sink vanity. I would highly recommend them.

They did very good work, but showed up an hour late, The deal I purchased was $249. for 8 hours of painting. I talked to Eddie about it before I made the purchase and he said it was eligible. When the job was done and he came to pick up his workers, he told me he would need an additional $249 because he sent 2 guys. When I showed him the deal on the phone, he said Angie's list worded it wrong; he said it should read $249 for 8 hours for 1 painter. I offered to give him an additional $100 and he said he wouldn't be making money because of gas expense and that his guys charge him $17/hour (I don't think that's accurate, but anyway...), then he accepted an additional $200. Before I gave him my credit card, I tried to contact Angie's List to resolve this issue, but it was a Saturday after 5:00, so I just paid him the additional.

The owner Doug did none of the painting himself. The people that actually did the painting, Mike and another guy did an excellent job considering the undertaking. I never hired a painter but I have no complaints at all with the work that was performed. I am just disappointed in myself for not getting 2 other price quotes. Also if you get a quote from Doug, make sure to discuss things like towel bars, wall lights, mirrors etc. because they cut around everything. If you want to change anything later, you will have to sand the paint lines and touch up with paint. If you do it yourself, it doesn't come perfect, trust me. The only way I would hire him again is if they were the lowest of 3 quotes. Doug is a nice guy and fairly easy to deal with. Very professional work!

    A+ Professional Painting LLC
The odds were against A+ Professional Painting Services when Derek DeVivo showed up to our house to quote the work that we needed done.  After getting burned by a painting service that we believed was capable of doing the job in the first place we questioned our ability to make decisions and were skeptical of every contractor that came to quote the work we needed to get our house back in shape.  Furthermore, whomever was awarded our job was doomed to work ?under a microscope? ? our reaction to the circumstances that got us into the position we were already in. It?s not easy for a contractor to work for detail oriented people and having to work for detail oriented people who?ve been burned is about as hard as it gets.
When he arrived to estimate our job Derek carefully looked over every room and listened while we strayed into angry conversation about what the other painter did to our house.  He was sympathetic and professional in his approach and that immediately won us over.  In fact, after meeting with him we were so confident that he would rescue us from the mess we were in that we had mentally hired him, so it was a very long week for us while we waited for his quote.  While we waited we worried that Derek?s quote would be too high or that he?d decide to pass on our job.  After all, Derek is smart, perceptive, and has a good business sense (we saw that in him the day he came out to estimate our job).  Why would he, or any other thriving painting contractor take a job in which the homeowner is likely going to be questioning everything he did, watching over his shoulder every step of the way?
While we don?t know exactly what compelled Derek to take our job, we do know that he didn?t back down from the challenge and we?re forever grateful for that.
Derek and Brad showed up on the agreed upon date, on time, and ready to work.  The job consisted of repairing damage to the walls caused by wallpaper removal (quite a bit of it), significant damage to the walls/ceilings caused by the previous contractor?s attempts to repair them, skim coating, patching, prepping moldings for paint, and painting ceilings, trim, and doors in approximately 2/3 of our house.  They were organized and systematic in their approach to the job and took measures to protect our floors and furniture.  While you might expect these things from a painting contractor I can tell you from firsthand experience that these are not things to take for granted.  Derek and Brad were able to do what a team of five painters couldn?t do before them AND without making a mess or leaving one thing out of place when they were done!
Both men worked together on small sections of our house at a time so as to minimize the inconvenience to us.  They asked where they could stage their equipment each time they moved to a different section of the house and cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day. On a day that we were home while they were working we didn?t hear a radio blaring throughout the house, didn?t hear offensive language from them, and didn?t witness them leaving our house to go to another job or out on
estimates.  We just listened as they worked cooperatively, focused on the task at hand and answered any questions they had along the way.  It was EXACTLY the kind of experience you expect to have when you hire someone to work in your home.
As you might have guessed we went over their work with a fine tooth comb every night after they were done.   What we learned while doing this was that Derek and Brad had a great eye for detail and were making strides in fixing the mess that was left for them.  Still, just by the sheer scope of what there was to do, there were things that they either hadn?t noticed or hadn?t gotten to that we wanted brought to their attention.  And although we had every right as paying customers to bring these things up we were nervous that we would say too much or push too far and that Derek and Brad would leave our job undone
like the previous contractor had.  Nonetheless (almost) every day (again, because of the sheer number of repairs that needed to be made) we presented Derek with a list of things that we wanted to see addressed.
And every day Derek and Brad took care of these things and then some without complaint.  They just stepped up and did the work.  A lesser person might have taken these lists as criticism of his work but Derek knew better than that, and if he didn?t, he certainly conducted himself in a manner that indicated otherwise.  A true professional through-and-through.

    A Colorful World
It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. I had a few issues with it but for the most part, it was okay. It was advertised as 8 man hours. It said 2 people for 4 hours. One lady showed up and she wasn't here for 8 hours. She kept going in and out of the house to her car. She left 2 hour early. I had a lot of projects for her and she finished the first project and started packing up. She had 4 hours left so I asked her to paint the front door. I had quite a bit more and she quit after 6 hours. I don't think she was a professional painter. She had running streaks that I had to tell her about. Part of the area she painted was carpeted and she spilled paint in 4 places because she didn't put tarp down for the second coat. It was fine for $199 for 6 hours; it was really a bargain but I wouldn't recommend them personally. She used a lot of my paper towels. She cleaned up her brush and tray in my kitchen sink and didn't clean up afterwards. She didn't have to move anything and I had taken all the knobs off so all she had to do was paint. She came to look at it and said the job would take all day.

The hardwood flooring was a difficult choice for my wife, but Jack was patient with my me and my wife as we tried to determine what was going to work the best. His experience from doing renovations for many years showed in the recommendations he gave us. Renovating a kitchen that was 40 years old is a tremendous task and Jack had no problems completing it within our budget and on time.

Mr. Timmons had the whole thing under control.  The job was done neatly and cleanly with as little disruption as possible.   We're all back together and thankful we chose Mr. Timmons,   We had estimates from three Painters/Companies and his was the middle estimate.   I was not looking forward to having the painting done but Mr. Timmons had the whole thing under control.  The job was done neat  P.S. Erik and his assistant are hard workers, friendly, and professional.

Outstanding service......the best experience I have had working with a contractor.

Would strongly recommend services to anyone needing a skilled carpenter or "jack of all trades"

Cleaned up debris and dust from all areas worked on.

Stayed in communications with home owner throughout the process ( informed homeowner as to "what to expect" at each phase of work to be completed.)

Will be using for future projects.
