AASAP Plumbing and Heating5 Stars for ASAP Plumbing/AC â installed 2 ½ Ton AC & 2 Gas Pipes They came on time, and gave me an estimate based on âTIME & MATERIALSâ which is important to me. I changed my mind on A/C Size from 2 ton to a 2 ½ Ton, and Joe said no problem. Joe(with a Masters Plumbing License) itemized the line items and the cost for each and explained each, estimating the hours to do the jobs. The cost was substantial, but I felt was fair. He didnât mind me tagging along, and explaining technicalities of A/C installing. So now I know how and I know I would be stupid to try it. He and assistant finished an hour early, and he deducted one hour labor cost from the estimate. Comparing ASAP Plumbing (5 Stars) to Horizon, Ben Franklin, and One Hour Plumbing; I have used all 3 of them. I give them 1 Star. They charge by the Job (NOT TIME & MATERIALS). They apparently base the âJob Chargesâ on maximum time a Job MIGHT take, and charges everyone for that max time. If you have an emergency, cost shouldnât matter, so call any plumber, including them, for fastest service. It just so happened that a water pipe burst in the downstairs bathroom. Without going into details, about 5 minutes of GUSHING WATER went all over the floor, Joe turned the whole house water off, and installed a âvalveâ (?faucet?) which probably would be a $ 75.00 charge. He folded that charge into the total Invoice. To summarize. ASAP Plumbing was fair.- Lawrence L.

AKitchen Trends (Div of RJ'S Remodeling Inc.)The tile backsplash had to all be removed, including some built-in items that then necessitated new insulation and repairing the wall, then fixing the entire wall to receive the new tiles I had chosen. The old counter was ripped out; the height for the new counter had to be raised to accommodate the new appliances. The window sill was removed and a new one made of the counter quartz installed. Some cabinets had to be removed and made into a different size to fit around the new appliances which the contractor installed. There were new door and window moldings; new plumbing under the new sink (the old pipes were ready to pop a leak); and a new garbage disposal. A heating duct had to be relocated and a new vent fashioned to match the baseboard; a gas line installed for the new stove (the old stove was electric). When the counter supplier had a problem, which then became our problem, my contractor made a temporary counter to use that was nice enough to almost mistake for permanent. I am so happy with my new kitchen. The details to finding the hardware I wanted, at the best price, and helping me know which style was best was very "distressing" for me. Randy has a decorator's eye for which I am so grateful. Among other things, he showed me how much nicer a colored grout was than the white I was going with. Randy custom made a pull-out shelf with an electric plug in one cabinet so I can keep my toaster out of sight. I love, love it. He made the counters a bit bigger than my old ones, even though we used the old cabinets. The extra space is great. We needed a special piece on the new dishwasher, which Randy made to match the baseboard in the rest of the kitchen. It's much harder to remodel an old kitchen, working with what's there than it would be to just gut the room and start from scratch; but Randy did it; and I'm thrilled with it. I really have to say how pleasant it was to have Randy's workers in our home, also. They worked so hard; but they were always sociable and accommodating (even to getting some cat dishes I had dropped behind the washing machine); and anything else I needed help with. Doing a remodel is stressful; but these guys made it the very least. They left my kitchen spotless each day when they left. It's also imperative that I give credit to Randy's wife, Iris. I had a problem with a new appliance. She took hold of this and 'moved heaven and earth' to have the supplier correct the problem. She wouldn't allow me to be worried about it at all. Randy always made sure to work around my scheduling. Even now, if I call with a question or any "tweaking", I am never put off. Randy answers my question or comes over immediately. I am looking forward to doing another project with "Randy and Company", ie, Kitchen Trends.- Thea R.

Just a matter of drilling a hole, but turns out our gas line wasn't hooked up properly for the dryer. So he fixed that and fixed the shower and more!- Tiffani V.

AASAP Plumbing and HeatingWe purchased a new grill that needed a bigger gas line than the existing line. We found this out on Saturday morning when we were expecting 26 people that evening for a barbecue. I called ASAP after finding them on Angie's list. The gentleman I spoke with was very nice and gave me a tow hour window that someone would be out. They arrived promptly, explained the issue and fixed it. They were very professional, knowledgeable and did an excellent job. Further, they did not hike up the price for the work even though it was a weekend. I will definitely use ASAP in the future.- Makenzie W.

AConn Mechanical SystemsI highly recommend Conn Mechanical to anyone needing the services they provide.  I dealt directly with Ed Conn the owner on several jobs.  I first used him to install a geothermal system at my mothers house.  I met with several contractors and decided to go with Conn Mechanical for several reasons.  1 Dealt directly with the owner.  2. Ed always followed through on his promises.  He was always there when he said he would be there and had a very professional crew.  3. Very knowledgeable about his product and services.  You can tell he is really into it, and very well informed on his trade.  He had more accreditation's than any of the other contractors I met with.  4.  Very accommodating.  I am very up front that I am a picky customer and can be quirky about the way I want things done.  Conn mechanical always went above and beyond for me.  4.  Best value.  Conn Mechanical was not the cheapest estimate I got, but I felt they were the best value.  They use very high quality equipment and materials and their employees are very professional.  I am a firm beliver that you get what you pay for,  and am very satisfied with the system my mom received. I was so impressed with the work performed at my mother's house I used them again to install a geothermal system in my own home.  Conn mechanical designed and installed a system that kept my home extremely comfortable during the heatwaves this summer, all while using minimal amount of electricity because of the efficient nature of the system.  They also ran all my plumbing, instant hot water system, water softner system, and gray water system.  Ed even came over himself and did some excavating and trenching for me! AConn Mechanical SystemsI would like to take a minute to thank Conn Mechanical Systems for their excellent service at my home last week. I was very uneasy when i was told I had a gas leak coming from my boiler by the gas company. I called Conn and they responded almost immediately with a very knowledgable technician that knew exactly what to look for. He found the leak in minutes, ran out and got the parts needed, and repaired my boiler within an hour or two. The technician stayed and ran the boiler for an hour or more after repair with a gas detector to assure no more gas leaks were present. Conn Mechanicals priority was to make sure that my family and i were safe and for that i cannot thank them enough!- Richard B.

AAfter a slow start where we all learned about the inevitable application of Murphy's Law, everything went well....but only because Mike Papa and the folks at ASAP Plumbing CHOSE to make things right. There was initial confusion and/or lack of communication over pricing and the toilet to be installed, but this was all worked out professionally, courteously & in a timely manner. My tech, Mike, coordinated with this boss to retrieve a proper toilet, adjust the price (twice) and ultimately install an UPGRADED toilet to make up for my troubles. Indeed, at the end of the day, I was completely satisfied and I believe ASAP Plumbing may have even lost money on the deal...so I believe customer satisfaction and "making things right" was more important to them than pure profit. For all this, I am fully willing to overlook all initial frustration and provide this glowing review.
