    Mike Malfettone Electric
Really happy with the results. Jason was on time every day and did a significant number of updates and changes for me. We communicated well and I was able to get everything I wanted even when unexpected bumps showed up. Would work with again.

    Lite Design LLC
Kosta Panoski of Lite Design is a gentleman and an outstanding electrician He completed all work in a reasonable period of time and at the agreed cost, I had a problem with my hot tub yesterday, and since I use it daily, it was a really loss to have it not working. Kosta said don't worry I am in the area I will come right over. Now that's the service you want from an electrician! It was a pleasure to have him work in my home. I would recommend him for any electrical work you may need

    D'Anna Electric Corp
When I bought a house in the Journal Square area of Jersey City a few years ago, I hadn't needed to hire an electrician before. The first one I hired was so expensive, and yet, my dad and I had to keep pointing out things that they missed, or didn't get right. So, I called a few different companies to find a new electrician... and that's when I found D'Anna Electric. I don't remember the first person's name who came out to work with us (maybe the owner?), but he was very knowledgable, helpful, and straightforward. They also had a very reasonable price. The last 2 times I contacted them, they sent over Steve... Super nice guy, who talked me through the issues so I understood my options clearly, and they again charged a reasonable price. They are my go-to electricians now. Thanks guys!

We are very pleased with the work that was done on our 2 fans. The new living room fan has been working flawlessly since its installation (we still have to paint ceiling above it). As far as the existing "problem" fan in our kitchen goes, it is also working great now. We especially liked that they called the fan manufacturer, on our behalf, and were able to determine that the issue was with the LED bulb and not our electrical/wiring. That's going over and above it when it comes to service!

    Hudson Home Improvement LLC
HHI was unbelievable. They redid my kitchen and living room. Total gut of the kitchen, took down 2 walls, recessed lighting, crown molding, baseboard molding, redid hardwood floor, installed a chandelier. So professional and great to work with. The end product was just beyond what I could have hoped for. Such attention to detail and real craftsmen. Plus, they specialize in working in city environments which is more complicated than the suburbs. They do it all and take the stress out! Joe and his group are a class act! Would absolutely recommend!

    Carriere Construction LLC
Sean and his crew renovated my condo after a flood damage in early January. This is our first remodel project and prior to working with a contractor, we've heard pretty negative stories about GCs in general. And to our surprise, Sean was the exact opposite of what we've heard. Communication - I would rate myself as a very responsive person and because the remodel happened after a flood damage, I was quite in an urgent situation and was eager to get the project finished. Sean communicated with us in a very timely manner and on many occasions, live - as they perform a specific task within the unit. He responds to my texts throughout the night on matters and feedbacks I provided (re: inspection at end of day on a daily basis). Project timeline - we finished the entire project (lighting, kitchen, drywall repair, painting, floor installation, room re-arrangement, door/trim, baseboards, everything but tiles in the bathroom) within 5 weeks (which was my target). While there are glitches during the project, Sean was very honest and frank about the project and always communicated about the progress and delays if any. He arranged the day-to-day work appropriately so it uses the best of his crews' time and meet our deadline at the same time. Quality of Work - i can't complain about the integrity that goes to the work. Sean will be sure to modify and change anything that I expect, and if he doesn't, he would make sure he explains it so I can accept the reasons behind them. That's very important to me as a client. Even after the project ended, when we saw the need for minor fixes after we moved back in, Sean stopped by on several occasions to fix those things. Pricing - Sean's quote was very reasonable and he provided an extremely detailed breakdown of the costs (materials and labor). We know what we are getting, and it was this level of transparency that ultimately led us to hire him for the job. During the project, he provided receipts and if there are any incremental costs not foreseen before, he'd communicate that prior to purchasing. In the end, we spent maybe just a little over $1k more than the quote (which is VERY GOOD) compared to many stories I've heard. He even assisted in providing information to my insurance company for the claim, and was very happy to do it. Overall, I think he's professional and certainly added an extremely positive reputation to his industry. I would certainly work with him again in the future and have already recommended him to several neighbors.

    Three Phase Electric, Inc.
I was referred to Mr. William Dyer (Billy) to perform electric work on my condominium. The relationship started off extremely well. He was enthusiastic about the project, quick to turn around a competitive quote / estimate, and even admitted he could use the work. I will admit that I was slow to make the decision to move forward because I wanted to perform my own due-diligence. Unsurprisingly, when I finally reached out to do so I was met with the same welcoming and enthusiastic demeanor. I told him that my condominium required a signed "Certificate of Insurance" and a "Unit Modification Form". The latter required a few minor details about his business (i.e. license, addresas, etc.) which I completed to the best of my ability. This is when the relationship started to take a turn. I followed up weekly for about a month to get a status update on the forms. It was obvious that he was dodging my calls because he started to ignore my text messages and only answered when I called from my work phone. However, when I did manage to get a hold of him he always had an excuse: (1) busy with other projects and (2) his computer was broken and getting repaired. Both explanations were reasonable, but we are talking about a simple signature and photocopy. I offered to mail the documents directly to him or even pay for the charges to print / scan at Staples. In our second to last conversation, he said he would send me his address within the hour only to ghost me yet again. I made one final attempt politely said "Hey Billy, at this point I feel as though you are either ignorant, incompetent, or uninterested all of which are okay, but these documents that I need are really simple that even a 2-year old can do it". He hung up on me and understandably so, but after nearly a month of giving him the benefit of the doubt I admittedly lost my patience. I understand that people are busy and that life happens, but simple communication is key to the success of any individual or business. I was referred to him and in all honesty, would have continued to recommend him to my friends / family if this series of unfortunate events went differently. While, I am sure he is an experienced and highly capable contractor, I hope his future customers don't have the experience that I did.
