Chris Ramos and his team are exceptional. They not only helped us save money, but were there for us throughout our entire project. Matt, the project manager was always available to discuss our needs and the workers were polite and professional. Our home looks beautiful from the floors, to the paint, to the kitchen updates, etc. I highly recommend PNE and would use them any time I need any home improvement. They do it all!

Response was quick and thorough with good information provided. The owner Dave was quick to respond to my questions and the crew were great. The foreman, Oscar, was very patient and helpful while I tried to pick a sealer/color. He was able to steer me to a sealer that resulted in exactly the look I was hoping for. The repair that had to be done blended into the rest of the floor with no way to distinguish the repair from the original. The oak floors were on a diagonal with a frame around the walls, necessitating a lot of handwork and Oscar and his team, Frank and Miguel, managed it beautifully. I am completely pleased with the job.

Prestige did an excellent job.  I had asked for quotes for this project from prestige and one other flooring company.    The prestige representatives (Paul & Sean)  provided many samples of wood types, and colors.  In addition, they recommended a floor manufacturer web site where I could upload photos of  rooms in my house then apply various wood floor types/colors to help in selection.  The second company came with a very small selection of samples and suggested we look at wood and let them know what types we wanted quotes on.  Not only did prestige come in with the lowest bid they were much more responsive during the wood seleciton process for this project.. They even came back on short notice to my home with more samples to help with making a wood type and color selection. Then provided new quotes that same evening.  Because of their responsiveness for both qoutes & questions and having the lowest bid, we selected prestige for the project.

The wood was deliverd  on time, and  the 2 man crew arrived as scheduled.  Roger the project lead on the installation  along with his co-worker got right to work removing carpeting, tile, floor prep and needed installation.  During installation, they realized the wood delivered was not enough to complete the project.  They had the additonal wood delivered the next day at no additonal charge to us given the error in measurement.  The entire  project took 1.5 days as expected  The company owner came on the last day to make sure we were pleased with the job.

We love our new floors and could not have more pleased with the services provided.  Prestige Representatives and installation crew were a pleasure to work with .  They were very responsive to our inquires and requests.    They completed the work on time, meeting all our expectations in quality of work and service.   We would highly recommend the company .

Excellent excellent job!!  Beautiful job with painting the interior and exterior of my home.  They installed my kitchen cabinets and tiles.  They completely renovated my downstairs bathroom.  Looks like a totally different bathroom!  They also refinished my living room hardwood floors.  Made them look like new!  The price was very reasonable in comparison to other companies I received estimates from.
Highly recommend this company! 5 Thumbs up!!  I will be referring them to my family members and friends!

They were on time, very professional and nice. The workers as well, they worked very hard. they worked fast and efficient. I didn't include a dollar amount price because we negotiated a price but it was very reasonable. The job only took about 8-9 hours.

It took 2 phone calls to get my first response.  However, no other contractors called me back.  A different contractor from Angie's list called me back about 3 weeks after 2 contact phone calls, and I already hired Goias by that time. A contractor not from Angie's list told me he would come over, and never showed up!  I had a small job and Gil from Goias was nice, polite, and professional as he said the size of the job did not matter.  Gil sent his team over to review the work that needed to be done, and I received a phone call a day or two later with the estimated price to complete.  I agreed to have the work done because no one else had called me back as I stated.  So I don't know if I overpaid or underpaid or paid a fair price.  But to me, the fact that they came out knowing it was a small job and willing to do the work was good enough for me.  They delivered the hardwood flooring on the day they said they would.  And they returned a week later to complete the job.  Eddie's team did the work and they were very professional and polite.  And when they arrived they started the work immediately; they did not futz around wasting any time.  And the job was completed in a manner of just a few hours.  There were no surprises on the final price as it matched the estimate.  The men also made sure to clean up all the mess that was made.  I would definitely hire these folks again.

The original consultation with the owner, Mr. Schmidt, went very well. It seemed like he really knew what he was talking about, and he provided me a very reasonable estimate. My Brazilian Cherry floors had minor scratches from my dogs nails and a couple of deeper scratches. Mr. Schmidt told me that the deeper scratches could be disguised better with stain, but the surface scratches from my dogs nails would easily be buffed out without sanding...I trusted his "expert" opinion. I moved all of the furniture out of the family room/kitchen prior to the worker's arrival (he sent one person to do this job). This employee was very nice and showed up on time. He explained to me that he would call me to see the floor after the original buffing, after the first coat, and then again for the final coat. It all seemed to be going well until I saw the floor before he left (after the final coat). I noticed bubbles and pointed it out to him. His response was that the bubbles would go away as the polyurethane dried and he seemed very confident. Unfortunately, the bubbles did not go away, there were a few spots where footprints were left in the finish and none of the scratches were disguised or removed. And when I say none, I mean none...all of the minor surface scratches from my dogs nails were still present, but now I had bubbles too.
The second job was sanding and refinishing my hardwood floors in my foyer. Mr. Schmidt told me that they would be able to blend a color to match what was currently there. Two workers showed up to perform this job an hour and a half after when they were supposed to. Again, the worker's were very nice, and they showed me the floors once it was sanded down to the wood and again when they were almost done. No stain was used...nothing was blended into the polyurethane...they simply put the polyurethane directly on the natural floors so they turned out lighter than my steps (I understand that the color changes over time, but when I'm told that they will blend it to make it as close as possible, I expect they're at least going to try). I could see some waves and ripples, but was told that it would smooth out when it dried. Unfortunately, not only did the waves remain, but on closer inspection, I noticed the following flaws: the carpet was never taped back, so it was polyurethaned to the floor; when they were sanding, they carelessly nicked the molding in multiple spots, and more importantly, the molding of a very expensive custom door; the polyurethane was also all over the floor molding; and the finish was very gritty at spots. There was also a lingering smell from the polyurethane (this odor lasted for weeks!!). In total, the workers were done in 4 - 5 hours (I've contacted several companies since and they all stated that the work will take at least one full day).
I attempted to contact Mr. Schmidt a few hours after the workers left and after I was able to examine the floors after they were dried. He called me back and told me that he would send a crew back on Saturday morning in order to resolve the issues without inconveniencing me (I did not want to have to take off from work yet another day). Two guys showed up on Saturday morning (one of the original workers and someone else). I showed the main worker all of the issues and he said that he would be able to buff out the bubbles and attempt to get the scratches out, and he would refinish the floors again. He also said that he would put another coat down in the foyer to smooth it out, but nothing could be done about the nicks or polyurethane on the molding. After they finished working (which took all of an hour and a half), they left, I let it dry, and reinspected it. This time, not only were there bubbles on my Brazilian Cherry floors, but there were also swirls which were very noticeable as soon as the light hit it. There were also some flat spots (areas they missed with the final coat of polyurethane), rough edges, and even more polyurethane on the carpet and molding. I immediately called Mr. Schmidt to express my concerns.
After several attempted phone calls and messages, I finally left a message stating that I was going to take him to small claims court if he did not figure out a resolution to the many issues and damage caused by his workers. It took him two days to call me back and I arranged to have him look at the floors the following night (he came after 5pm to avoid inconveniencing me, which I respect). Mr. Schmidt walked into my house, looked at the floors, said that the floors did not look good, opened his notebook, and handed me a check for the price I paid. When I raised the issue that my custom door was damaged and the stain alone cost $50, let alone the cost of the actual molding, he said he wasn't going to cover the cost of the damage and tried stating that it could have been like that before. Unbeknownst to him, I had taken pictures prior to his workers arrival and it could clearly be seen that the damage to all of the molding was not there before. When I pointed out the polyurethane on the molding he apologized that he failed to tell me that it was my responsibility to fix and repaint the molding, not the company.
I'm glad that he at least gave me my money back for the "work" performed, but I now have floors that look worse than they did before, I'm out on the money I gave the workers as a tip, and I'm also out of time from work and the cost to put my dogs in a pet day care for the day they originally did the jobs. I've had several floor refinishing companies look at these floors since and they all stated that the Brazilian Cherry has to be sanded down to the bare wood. None of them could figure out what was used to finish the floor either because it dried fast, it was yellow in tint and had a strong odor. All I know is that I was extremely disappointed with the end result and cannot wait until the new company can properly refinish my floors.

Prestige Wood Flooring is an excellent company. They have been extremely professional and have gone above and beyond in helping me complete this project.
I was in the process of purchasing a home and I wanted the floors refinished before I moved in. They gave me an estimate before I even closed on the home and started work the day after closing. They were flexible with meet times and with the products they used. (I upgraded to the Bona Traffic Finish because I wanted the highest durability, this added apx $400 to the cost)  They even specially prepared areas of the floor so I could see stain samples on the wood, in the space, with my husband. They even helped me look up the name of the stain color when I forgot to take a picture of it and got nervous!
Sean, Paul, and the other workers were attentive and very thoughtful. They did great work and cleaned up after themselves so that hardly any dust could be found. I highly recommend this company and will use them if/when my floors need retouching.

Perfect. The process was easy...everybody at Premier was helpful, a wealth of knowledge and easy to deal with. It took us a while to decide on everything and there was no pressure at all to select or to buy. Installers were efficient and so nice and did an absolutely beautiful job and took great care with our home and all our furniture. Will use again soon for the upstairs and a bathroom.
