Were careful in wrapping furniture to ensure it wasn't damaged. Assisted in reassembling foosball table. Staged move of heavy furniture on muddy ground so that they were able to safely complete the move without damaging house or furniture.

They did a fabulous job. I had a Danish style chair that needed the rubber slats replaced and cushions made. They replaced it with webbing and a cover over the webbing with 2 cushions to go on it. It was a rate. This  guy came to the house and he had samples. I could compare it to what I had. with the other place I would have had to bring my cushion into the place to compare. Quality was excellent. I would use them again. That says it all.

Derby can't be beat for great prices and local customer service.  They are nice people.  I don't know how they beat the prices of the major retailers but they do.  Three things to be aware of: 1) when you walk in, don't be scared away by the prices on the appliances.  This is just retail price and they always beat it by a lot; 2) delivery is free but hook-up costs more -- this is fair but just be aware so you work that into the final price; and 3) the Edison store accepts American Express but the New Brunswick store doesn't; regardless they won't allow you to put more than $2,000 on a credit card.  This last point almost made me walk away from buying the four kitchen appliances I was buying.  I prefer using AmEx for the full amount because AmEx will double the manufacturer's warranty.  The fact that I couldn't put the whole amount on my card wasn't made clear until after I spent considerable time dealing with the sales guy.  The reasons I didn't walk away are 1) the sales guy, Clarence, was great and I would have felt bad walking away and 2) the price I got was terrific so walking away to buy online or at a big box retailer would have cost me more.

Mike is wonderful.  The craftsmanship is impeccable.  I am VERY picky, especially when I'm paying for something custom.  He met my expectations and then some.  He's also easy to communicate with and flexible.  My schedule is difficult but he was very accommodating. He always brings back the leftover fabric, too.
This is the second job Mike has done for us.  The first was a queen size duvet cover, something I designed.  He executed it perfectly.  He said the fabric I chose was difficult to work with, but there was no indication of that in the final product.
We're planning to install Roman blinds in one bedroom and plan to commission Mike for that job.

They replaced weaker wood with new stronger plywood frames. It went fine. They did the job in days, very prompt & reliable. Only qualification: they encouraged us to remove & bring in only the chair seats so when done I had to drill new holes to reattach the seats myself.  No work done on leather seat covering material either. Still they fixed the main problem efficiently & effectively.

Though I had fully intended to move forward with this work, I learned after the fact that the shipper's insurance company was going to require a $500 deductible, which was far more than I could afford to pay. After deciding not to have the work performed, I contacted Michael and his wife, Vivian, who graciously offered to return 50% of my deposit, even though it is normally against their policy to do so when quoting for insurance work.
To provide some context for the cost of service that was to be performed, there was a wooden dining table, 8 dining chairs and an antique chest. Every item had been scratched during shipping, including the table top, which had been in pristine condition before shipment. The repairs that needed to be done were all delicate finish work, and Michael said he would be able to do all the repairs right in my own apartment, which made me VERY happy. Unfortunately, as it turned out we weren't able to get any of the work done, so we're learning to live with the scratches.
I'm sure the work would have been done well, but unfortunately, in the absence of insurance and with a new baby and my wife not working, this repair was beyond our means at this particular time.

I was very pleased with Seemore's installation service. I called yesterday to set up an appointment for installation of the A/C wall unit I had previously purchased, and they were able to make an appointment on that short notice. The unit was installed in a condo I rent out, and my tenant reported that the people who did the installation were in and out in a very short amount of time. When I purchased the unit several weeks before, they were also honest with me about pricing options, finding me a unit that would fit the dimensions that was several hundred dollars lower than the same brand as the one that was already in the wall.
I would definitely recommend this company again.

My previous piano tuner had retired a while ago, and it had been 5 or 6 years since our piano had been tuned. Rick cautioned me when he gave the estimate over the phone, that it might require a couple of tunings to bring it back to true. I'd expected that.
While he was here for the first tuning, I asked him to give me a quote on cleaning/lubricating the action on our piano. As he was compiling that quote, he pointed out that the action seemed good, no slow or sticky keys, so it doesn't really need cleaning yet. However, he discovered a crack in the bass bridge which could be a problem in future, and quoted me what it would cost to repair that. Again, he warned me that the process of unstringing the bridge could cause the old strings to break, and they're very expensive to replace. In the end, we agreed that I would wait on the bass bridge repair until the bass strings start falling out of tune quickly (heralding the crack getting worse), or until a string breaks on its own.
All in all, Rick seemed a very fair-minded and professional piano tuner.

The movers provided an estimate based on a faxed inventory and then charged LESS than they estimated when the move was completed. The movers were efficient, courteous, and careful. The move was completed quickly and professionally with no damage to even highly breakable items (e.g., pole lamps). They are not perhaps expert in piano moving, but did a good job with that as well. I would use them again and would recommend them to others.

They arrived on time, were very polite and professional. They spent a great deal of time with us to position the pianos and made some very good recommendations. Very satisfied with their work and that's why we would recommend their services.
