    It went well. Serviceman was very polite and did his best to attach side pieces that I had purchased online. He was unable to get off the bolts to attach them as they were "frozen," so he managed to bend my original piece so it would work.

    Jason showed up within an hour of the earliest expected time. He was able to stop the leak and we discovered there was a spring missing from the throttle (the original reason it wouldn't start) He was extremely professional and courteous. Would definitely recommend

    Bought a Honda self propelled mower three years ago and really hadn't done much of anything in the way of maintenance on it. I dreaded having to lift the mower into my trunk of my car, drive it to a shop for the work to be done, wait a week (or more) and then go back to pick it up again. Housecalls Mower Repair came to my house, changed the oil, replaced the spark plug, sharpened my blades, lubricated my throttle arm that was sticking, checked my cables and made sure the mower was running at its peak. All in about 40 minutes and all for about the same price as taking it a shop. Jason was on time, friendly and professional and didn't try to sell me anything other than the service that was agreed upon. I highly recommend this business and will definitely use them again.

    I called Rusty, the owner, who was great. She explained to me that they charge $50 for the call and would not start any repairs until they told us what needed to be fixed and approximately how much to fix. There is a $99 minimum fee for any repairs completed (plus the $50). This all seems totally reasonable. However, the repairman completed the repairs without first providing an estimate. The bill was ~$280. I'm happy with the repairs, but not happy on the lack of communication. I called the next day, and I got Rusty again. She was great. She apologized, and actually offered us a free tune up in the Spring, which I'll definitely use. Despite the snafu in the communications, they seem like a really great, small company that does quality work and cares about its customers. I'll definitely use them for repairs in the future again.

    He was punctual (in fact, he was early to the appointment), professional, and efficient in getting our mower going again. He also explained what was wrong with the mower and what to do to prevent the carburetor from being clogged up. And all this happened in my front yard, and I didn't have to load up the dirty mower in my car to get it serviced!

    It went great. I like to watch  and ask questions along the way. Jason was very knowledgable and patient. This was the first time the machine has ever been serviced by any one other than me. For me the convience of having the servicer come to my house was worth the deal. I have a small car and it would not be easy for me to transport my machine. This is a great business model.

    Answered the phone right away each time I called. During first call he had mentioned his son was getting married, so he was running around and he didn't have his scheduling book with him. Understandable since I just got married in October of last year and know how crazy wedding planning is! He asked me to call back on Monday to setup an appointment.
    So I called back on Monday and scheduled an appointment for 2pm on Thursday. Left work early in order to be there when he came by. 2:45 and he hadn't called or arrived yet, so I called him to ask if he was still going to be making the appointment. Said he would be late as he was held up in Ewing on a job. Ended up arriving 2-2.5 hours late. The two guys were nice and only took about 20 minutes to do the tune-up repair. Price was right about what I expected (if not a little less even), so I was very happy with the price. I haven't used the mower yet, so can't say much for the quality of the work right now (will update if there are issues, but I'm sure it's fine). 
    So the only issue I had, was that I had to call them 45 minutes after the scheduled appointment time to see if they were still coming. I understand things come up in any service type industry, you just try to stick to your schedule as best you can. I just felt a courtesy call to let me know they would be late would have been nice, don't think that is too much to ask, it's just good customer service. Hopefully this was just an isolated oversight and they normally make courtesy calls in these cases.Ironically enough, the fix that had them running late was the same fix that they needed to perform on my mower, so at least that helped them be able to do the job quickly.
    That said, I would def use them again. The guys were nice and worked quickly. It is very convenient that they come to you and charge a comparable price (even less) to other places I've actually had to physically take my mower to (which can be a pain) and then you have to wait for days/weeks to get it back.
    I would def recommend them to anyone who needs their mower/snowblower/etc repaired/tuned up. Thanks guys!
