    Cohen, Dr. Allan
Dr. Cohen is thorough and seems to know what he is doing. He has the equipment at his office so you don't have to go anywhere else for test and such. He sits and talks with me about my condition. His office is just like any other office with magazine and televisions. The bookkeeper charged me for something I had already paid for and I didn't have my receipt with me so I had to pay again. I just make sure I take my receipts with me when I go back to them.

    John Procaccino MD
He is extremely good at what he does. The colonoscopy procedure he does is painless, and he has a wonderful office staff of nurses and assistants. He has a warm personality, and makes his patients feel very comfortable.

They have a number of offices. It is a huge practice with a lot of doctors. They have every specialty I can think of. One of the good things about this practice is that almost all their doctors are board certified. The building you would visit will depend on the specialist you would want to go to. They show a high level of professionalism. You can always see a doctor. Somebody will be there to see you. They have an urgent care if you need stitches and such. You can call in 24 hours a day. All the records are digitized. Any doctor you see in the practice will have all your records. They do everything for me. If you need any tests done, it is all done in the practice, including colonoscopy, endoscopy, x-rays, echocardiogram, stress test, blood test; etc. I had an MRI from them a week ago. The cardiologist is always late, though. The others are fine. I go back there because I get good doctors. I will continue to use this practice in the future.

    McCaughan, Dr. James
I had a gastric sleeve which is a bariatric surgery. I have lost 155 pounds since then with no complications. He is very knowledgeable and follows up on his patients. My only regret is that it took me so long to go to him. Everybody in his office is great, friendly and knowledgeable. They get back to me really fast when I call them. His nurse is also a nutritionist there. She works with me, follows up and makes sure I stick with my diet. The office staffs call me a couple of times especially when the appointment is booked well in advance. They call two weeks in advance and then one day earlier just so that I remember.

    Rivadeneira, Dr. David E.
Every other doctor wanted to do this surgery in 3 steps and he did it in 1 surgery. His treatments have kept me out of the hospitals for long periods of time

I was experiencing significant pain on my lower right abdomen, and decided that I should have it checked. I drove to the ER at Nortyhern Westchester Hospital, where I was admitted, examined, and diagnosed with a and quot;hotand quot; appendix. Dr. Wishner, by a happy coincidence, was the surgeon on call. He performed an emergency appendectoomy at 3 AM, and successfully removed my ruptured appendix. Dr. Wishner thoroughly and calmly explained my diagnosis, described the surgical procedure, and patiently answered all of my questions. He was clear without being brusque; actually he has a good sense of humor, and made me laugh - always the best medicine. Dr. Wishner visited me the next day. After he examined me, told me that because of the rupture, I had to remain in the hospital for a few more days, until all the infection was treated. I did, and it was. I couldn't have chosen a better doctor if I tried. And as it turned out, Dr. Wishner was named one of the two best colon-rectal surgeons for 2011 by Westchester Magazine. I recommend him without equivocation.

    Jules Garbus MD
He is personable and makes the patient feel extremely comfortable in awkward situations. That is what most people say when I am in the waiting room. He treats the whole person. He is knowledge able and cares about his patients. He takes the time to explain things. The next appointment will be for a colonoscopy.

The problem has not reoccurred since. Very good doctor, professional & caring. Accepted my insurance, so only had to pay co-pay. Subsequently used him for colonoscopy as well.
