    K & R Appliance Repair
FANTASTIC! Spoke with 4 other repair company; all stating that they don't fix LG appliances because they are hard to get parts for. Not only did he fix; he diagnosed is less than 10 minutes on Friday afternoon, had my part on Sunday and installed on Tuesday! Fantastic, Highly Recommend!

I'd give them an "A" for everything but the price. They had to come back a couple different times, the filter wasn't working properly. It's a Viking refrigerator, they are complicated to deal with.

    D.A.S. Appliance Service
I didn't comparison shop with the price. They were very personal. They called me back and gave me updates for when they are coming. They tried to fit me in. Once we settled on a time they were right on time. It seemed to be a family business. I think it was the wife that answered, but she knew about the type of trouble I was having. She told me she would have to talk to the technician who I'm assuming is her husband. She told me he would be there in the afternoon and she called me with updates. They were very good. I thought his vehicle was terrific. He must have parts for every machine on that vehicle. He had more boxes and side boxed. Usually when you call an appliance repair they come in a little van and they never have the part.

Apex Appliance Repair & Air Duct Cleaning
Apex was able to order a part for a very old range, took a while to arrive but it was not urgent or did not effect use or safety of the range. Technician Raymond was awesome! Very knowledgeable about task he was sent to do, he was friendly and very professional. I was treated with respect as was my house. He did not hurry and took his time to make sure the part was replaced correctly. He cleaned up the mess behind the range paying attention to detail and made sure he left nothing behind. Very HONEST employees, both the owner (On initial call) and Raymond were asked to also look at 2 other appliances that were not working/damaged in my home...informed me because of the age of the appliances they would recommend replacing and not fixing. Obviously they lost money in not making a repair, but they gained trust and a customer for life! Thank you!

    Sears Appliance Repair
They finally got it right in the end, but it took them three rounds of effort to try to get it right. They kept shipping the wrong part, when they finally got to the right part. They shipped one part at a time and each time it would delay repair for a week. When I could have (for example), replaced the item in one day, by going out and buying a new one for probably about $650. I wound up paying about $450 to have it repaired and spent a month getting it repaired.

If I was giving them a rating, it would be pretty mediocre. Not because of the repair person! I talked with the repair person, he knew what he was doing. But, Sears Home Repair system is basically geared to an absolute minimum cost way for them of repairing things, which totally backfired. So, I would not give them a very high rating. The people knew what they were doing, but they were handicapped by the process.

Sears also had a total failure of communication system for about a day and a half at one stage. Couldn?t call them, they couldn?t look anything up, they couldn?t update their system. There was also about a day and a half at one point which they couldn?t even respond to knowing about anything that was going on. I called in around August 1st, and it took until September 1st to get it fixed. The eventual cost wound up being, with adding everything else up, being $389 to repair.

If I was giving a grade to the tech, it would be around a ?B? or ?C? area, cost he generally knew what he was doing. To the infrastructure that Sears has to run this business, at best a ?D?. It shouldn?t cost 2/3?s of the price of a new device to replace one board of the electronics of the system. Basically, the mother board and the service to do it was almost $400 on a device that would cost $650 to replace.

It?s working and hasn?t failed again yet. Instead of sending the repair person with a potential set of parts, they order parts from their warehouse, have it shipped and make an appointment to have it installed a week later. It is the process behind what they are doing that is poor. Punctuality: They showed up when they said they would, I would give a ?B?, but the total lapse time to complete the series of steps they imposed on a customer an ?F?. Techs get a ?B? in Professionalism.

I would only use them as a last resort. The workers I came into contact with, that actually showed up to do the work, I would praise them! They knew what they were doing, knew what they were looking for, they were just handicapped by Sears process.

Wonderfully! Although "Immediate" does not always mean the day you call, (they are a very popular company) they were able to come see me the next business day. Jay, the technician, was polite, tidy and quite knowledgeable. He was respectful of our home and took care not to damage anything as he moved the heavy washer out to work on it. My dog even brought him her toys!

    Anytime Repair Service Inc
I had barely finished emailing my request for service when the phone rang and it was Anytime Repair! No company has ever replied so promptly. The service man showed up exactly on time and diagnosed the problem immediately. It was clear that he had a lot of expertise. When he finished repairing the connection, he offered to clean the coils which were really dirty and he cleaned up the dust afterwards.  This level of service and expertise is hard to find.

Apex Appliance Repair & Air Duct Cleaning
They are very good. I have used Apex in the past and I would use them again. Our washer was not spinning. They replaced the lid switch assembly. It's workin fine now.. I also had him check my dryer. The handle on the vent screen was broken. He just jerry-rigged wiring and did not need to get a new one. Itis working fine too.

Apex Appliance Repair & Air Duct Cleaning
Tom was very kind, any other appliance I would use him, no problem. I thought it was very nice that he was willing to assist me, even though he wasn't going to make any money from me. He really took the time to talk to me and I would recommend him even just for his persona.

    Mark Tuz Appliance Repair INC
I called to have Mark come in to check out my washing machine which was giving me an error code and wasnt operating at all. Without even having to come in, Nancy called me back and told me which steps to take to fix the problem on my own. I was very pleasantly surprised and thankful for their service. Ill definitely be going to them the next time one of my appliances acts up. Thanks again!
