    My AC Unit outside stopped working in the middle of a heat wave. I reached out to Mark Lindsay and they had a worker at my house within 2 hours. The issue could not be completed on the spot since the fan motor had to be special ordered. It took a few days to come in but that part was out of anyone's control. When it came in the service was performed in just a few hours. I would definitely recommend Mark Lindsay.

    Had a technician come out in the weekend for estimating the cost of installing new mini split ACs. Rab was very professional, and took the time to understand what my husband and I were looking for. He also bounced off several options and ideas with us, and promptly worked on giving us a quote. Really helped us in budgeting and planning for this project. If the need arises, I would definitely consider using this company's services in my house!

    In all fairness, Angie���s List should not have allowed ���unsuspecting customers��� to purchase a deal coupon if the distance between the service provider and the customer is miles away. Angie���s List eagerness in soliciting sales put the vendors��� and customers��� well-being in jeopardy. My initial appointment was for 8am on a weekday, only to be cancelled by Anzo���s Heating on the grounds of ���traffic���, then it was scheduled one week later on a Saturday morning at 8am. The night before my 8am appointment I received a text from Anzo that my 8am will be moved to around 12 noon. Then they texted me again saying that they had 3 emergency calls with no heat and will get to me as soon as they can. It was only at 5:30pm that the service crew showed up at my door. From 8am to 5:30pm, it was a whole day of waiting and I lost a day���s wages because I had to call out SICK. After this harrowing experience, I no longer wish to renew my silver membership with Angie���s List when my membership is due for renewal. Angie���s List has certainly become less competitive than the upcoming service providers who DO NOT charge a fee but still provide reliable services to homeowners.

    The guy came out 45 minutes late, but that didn't bother me. I showed him what I knew and he looked over to diagnose the problem. He found a burnt wire and proceeded to fix it. Then he proceeded to try to determine if there was an underlying problem that caused the wire to get fried. After about 30 minutes he came and told me that the air going into and out of the compressor (I think) only had a 10 degree difference and should be 20 and that I was low on freon and therefore must have a leak. He told me my options for the leak: 1. an isolation test (always works) for $960, 2. Another test (doesn't always work) around $600, 3. I could just add a sealant that works on small leaks and add freon (probably 1 or 2 gallons for $90/gal). I thought the prices were enormous and though something was fishy. GLAD I did. Next day had another guy come over and take a look. He saw the wetness on the wire outside and explained that was a good thing, measured the freon pressure, etc. and said it was full and told me the temperature difference after having a burnt wire would take quite a while to clear up and not to be concerned. No Charge -- fortunately, he was in my town for another job at the time. I gave him some cash and will use him for repairs going forward. So, does A.J.Perri pay their people a commission for repairs -- If so, they should rethink their business model. Honesty and Ethical Behavior should be foremost for anyone running a service business.

    I thought I was being scammed by the other provider, so I wanted a 2nd opinion. Found Faud via various reviews and thought him honest. He came out before he promised -- called first to ensure I would be home. Looked over the system and let me know there was nothing wrong with the system and it was working fine. Although, he wasn't going to charge me, he realized that he was billed by HomeAdvisors (I didn't even realize I went through them) -- paid his bill and added to it for his time and my peace of mind.

    After our external AC units died - I called Advanced to come over and troubleshoot. They were able to arrive within a couple of days. When the technician arrived (Kevin) he spent 30 minutes troubleshooting the unit. He then told us the unit needs to be replaced and he told us he can have an identical replacement unit the next day. We agreed and paid an advance of 50%. Tomorrow Kevin arrived again and took the whole day to install the new unit. I then found it was a different brand (Fredrick in place of Rheem). It was too late to back out, so I hoped for the best. Two days later the unit stopped working and Kevin was back. After troubleshooting he said it was a gas problem and refilled the unit. A few weeks later the unit again stopped cooling. This time Sam arrived which seemed much more proficient than Kevin. He found a hole next to the service connector and fixed it. Throughout - Advanced was very responsive and were very happy to come back and repair the issues .I think the initial installation was faulty and I had to spend multiple days to deal with this. I would expect more professionalism from all technicians.

    "Masters" is not a brag. Lisa picked up and said they could make it, and that she'd call me right back. Within just a few minutes, she got back to me and told me someone would be swinging by, and gave me the price. Then just a few minutes later, Mo (sp?) called to tell me he'd be coming by, and asked a few questions. He came in, took a look, and immediately figured out what was wrong. He put in a temporary solution so we could have heat but told us to get it fixed immediately. He did not charge any more than the cost of checking it out, which seemed very nice, considering he did do work on the furnace. And we had a toasty Thanksgiving weekend. Needless to say, we called NJ Masters to come back and fix it right, and do some other work too. And Mo was nice to my folks, which is a big plus.

    Jon and Rich were excellent. The installation went well and they left my basement spotless after the job was completed. Jon took time to explain how to manage the humidifier via the iComfort thermostat which I already had with my Lennox Dave Signature furnace and AC condenser.

    I bought a promo from Angie���s List for an annual AC and furnace maintenance service with Great White Mechanical. Both the field crew Chris who did the Spring maintenance and Mike the Fall maintenance were great, came on time and very professional and knowledgeable. However I cannot say the same for the office sales staff Jeff Miller. I had emailed and texted him about my interest in a humifier installation. He does not respond to my email or text messages. I had posted a message on their website, and the owner did not care to respond/comment. The sales personnel at Great White is a total flop compared to the professionalism of their field crew.
