Dr. Scherl is a great specialist. He gave me a really thorough exam and although I was in pain, he did his best to gently examine my nostril. He spent a lot of time going over my history with medications so as not to prescribe anything that I might have a bad reaction to. He really made me feel like he cared about me personally, and even though the waiting room was crowded, he didn't rush me though. The prescription he gave me was very effective, and although I hope I do not have to return, I would highly recommend him to sinus sufferers.

He does a good job. I have given his name out a few times. He is very thorough. He is a good listener. He isn't surgery happy. He doesn't jump in to surgery. I went to him as a second opinion. The original doctor said that my son needed surgery. Dr. Eisenburg followed my son for awhile and decided that he didn't need surgery. There is a little wait, but that's seems to be normal.

I had a lump in 12/93 and this dolt removed it. He came into the hospital room after the surgery to tell me that he couldn't tell if it was benign or not and if there were any microscopic particles left, it may come back. Right then I knew I was doomed. The various reports came back with different grades of cancer. They reported either benign or low grade malignancy, so ideally he should have had me get follow up MRIs much sooner than I did. (If I didn't completely trust drs at the time, I would have suggested it myself.) He finally had me get an MRI one year later at which point he admitted to me he should have had it done sooner. He knew he was over his head and referred me to Dr Mark Urken, who at the time, was at Mt. Sinai Hospital in NYC. If ever there were a malpractice suit, this would have been it, but I was too scared at the time to think about it, I just wanted the cancer gone. His sheer lack of concern and the way he told my husband and I in his office that the cancer was back included things like, "if you don't have insurance, you may have to declare bankruptcy"....on and on. Especially the part about how he should have sent me for an MRI sooner, still gets me mad to this day. I hope he learned from that, but I doubt it. I honestly would not let this man put a bandage on a stray animal.

Excellent doctor. Was able to diagnosis something that seven other doctors and a hospital could not properly diagnosis and treat. This in now my new ENT and I recommend him to all family and friends.
