Five Tips to Get the Most From Your Electrical Inspection

Electrician reviews in Englewood Cliffs

I purchased a house a year ago that came with an old pool filter system. The outdoor switch was broken and needed to be replaced. Joe was very responsive and knowledgeable. He also found that the pump and heater were incorrectly installed without a grounding wire, a bad mix when you're dealing with electricity and people in a swimming pool. He managed to put together a safe, quick and efficient solution at a reasonable price.

If we buy another house we will use them again, and we will recommend them to our friends. They are just overall very responsive. Whatever questions we have they make sure they answer promptly and in details. And whatever concern we have, we can reach them and they can work it out with us. But yeah, we're very satisfied with them.

Well.. these guys definitely knew what they were doing. They were licenced and it was very apparent. Do not go for these guys if you are not sure what you need done, otherwise the price racks up high as they are paid by the hour. I tried to replace one of the junction boxes myself, but got stuck because the armored wiring was too tough to fix. I thought that was the cause of an outlet going out, but it turns out that it was a neighbor junction that was getting old and needed to be replaced. So what I thought would be a $150 job, turned out to be more than double. They gave me an estimate on replacing a 2 Fed Pacific fuse boxes. The estimate for that was reasonable. Due to the estimate for that I would consider contracting them out again for that work.

Shoddy workmanship on decking and pot lights (no insulation). Poor floor tiling and they tried to convince me to accept it when I complained and the GC in charge had an attitude. The addition had a roof which still leaks after he "fixed" it.

He was prompt and courteous. He gave an estimate assuming he would have to replace the entire high hats. However he was able to get the necessary parts (thermostat etc.) to fix existing trim without having to take the whole high hat out. Nick cut the price of the repair in half as the time he needed to spend went down. He was honest and did not overcharge.

This was a design from scratch, and total renovation of my old outdated kitchen. In this process, my husband and I were knocking down one wall in the kitchen to open up to the living/dinning area. WoodArt listened to my preferences, and together with Asya the designer, step by step we went through drawing after drawing to find the right mix to create a fabulous open design with a peninsula and wall unit included. Asya made recommendations and together we worked through the details. She is very experienced and was always highly service minded, helpful and a lovely person to deal with. The owner Nick was great. He extended himself to work with us on our personal nuances and needs. He is smart and experienced in construction and is also very pleasant to work with.  Their carpenter was a master at his trade and he was a perfectionist.  The quality of work was exceptionally high in the installation.  We are very satisfied with our beautiful, new kitchen.  It has that "wow" factor we were looking for.

Arrived on time. Did not goof around; got right to work. Installed the two basement light fixtures quickly and efficiently. Both service techs were careful and precise. Replacing the wireless receiver controller for a ceiling fan/light fixture required care. They were patient and did the job properly. Cleaned up after they were done. Cost exactly as estimated. The only surprise was how much better they were than expected.

The name of this company says it all! Electrical Excellence did a great job updating our electrical system. They were on time, neat, professional and very knowledgeable. The owner of the company, Joe, is enthusiastic and friendly. I could not be more pleased with my experience!

He came and checked out the problem. He told us that we would have needed a new oven. He informed me that the circuit was fine and that I just needed to have my oven repaired. There was prompt response time from when I called to when he came by. I like that he explained everything to me and assured me that everything was fine.
