My last experience was good. I heard about them from my family and I have been using them for five years. The wait time is pretty quick. I do not think they are taking in any more clients. They never have change up there. If I give them co-pay, they say that they do not have any change. I already put that as one of my complaints one time.

I had just left a client in Newark, and dropped my sunglasses; when I bent over to pick them up, it felt like I was "spinning" and my balance was so bad I could barely stand. I called Dr Mejias and he told me to come right over; he immediately diagnosed the issue (inflammation in my middle ear), and gave me an exercise to help clear it out instead of loading me up with medication. My blood pressure was a little low but that's normal for me. He took it several times to make sure it wasn't dropping and ran an EKG just in case (I'm 50, high cholesterol, etc so risk factors for heart disease), my chest felt tight but looking back I think it was just anxiety but it's good he made certain that's all it was. He kept me out of work for 2 days since driving would be risky if I became dizzy again. By Sunday I felt perfectly fine and was back to work Monday. He is an excellent Doctor, very thorough and seems to never be wrong with a diagnosis. My friend went to him but moved out of state, she hasn't been able to find a provider she trusts or likes.  If he retires I have no idea what I will do, don't even want to think about that!

Dr. William Mchugh has been my family doctor ever since I moved to NJ  over 25 years ago.

Most of my past visits were for normal yearly check ups.

Now that I have aged and have become a senior have more parts to check up on.

Dr McHuch is a kind, smart and efficent doctor.

He is not one to push surgery but will do so if it necessary.

FYI  I now live 30 minutes away from his office by car but he is the docor I go to.
Another FYI parking is in hospital garage have his staff stamp for 50% off parking fee.

He has been one of my doctors for about 12 years. This was my third colonoscopy, and he has such an efficient system. You go in and they put you out, and the next thing you know you wake up and he will give you an update on everything. I am going for a follow up for my results. Also, you get a picture of the three sections of your colon and you review of what he saw and found. He is very busy, but very prompt.

I have severe mold allergies and became short of breath while mowing my lawn (forgot to put on my dust mask); after all the rain we've had, there was a lot of fungi on my lawn and that triggered my allergies. Called Dr Mejias (after hours), he called back immediately and recommended I take Benydryl and if that didn't help, to go to the ER. It did help and I called the following morning and got an appt right away for him to follow up; he knows my prescription plan isn't so great so gave me samples to try. Also suffer from bursitis, he was able to give me something that was not a pain killer but would help with the inflammation for 2-3 weeks.

He is ALWAYS available by phone, takes "walk-in's" and emergencies so sometimes you have to wait a little if he has an emergency appt he had to fit in. He is also open on Saturdays 9-1. My friend has no insurance and he charges the most reasonable fees for self pay patients, my friend shopped around and no one charged less. He also uses a lab that gives huge discounts on blood work if you need it. The "new patient" initial visit is reasonable then he charges you half on all subsequent visits. He takes a lot of insurances as well.

Dr Mejias is extremely thorough, spends a lot of time with patients and is able to diagnose whatever you have in no time!

Would definitely recommend him to anyone but call first to make sure he takes your insurance.

He looked over the shoulder, told me to take it easy and the pain would go away.  We did not have to do any x-rays.  I am coming up for my usual blood work and flu shot so we set up an appointment to do that next week.

Had been feeling dizzy with left ear pain + a "crackling" sound in ear. He gave me appointment same day, I had an ear infection + fluid in middle ear causing dizziness. My blood pressure was low, not unusual for me but lower than it should have been. He is having me come back 1x/wk for the next month to have it checked for free to make sure it stays normal now.Antibiotics + decongestants worked well + I was able to go back to work following Monday. He is an excellent Dr, very skilled @ diagnosing a problem + knowing how to treat it. Great at giving emergency appointments + he also takes walk-ins. Takes a lot of insurances but call ahead to make sure he is in your plan.

He is pretty knowledgeable about everything. He takes a lot of time with you. He goes over everything, he knows what areas to look for and knows symptoms. He is not a specialist and always immediately recommends a really qualified specialist. He will see you the same day if it is an emergency. He will call you on the phone and when he gets x-rays back to tell you what is up. He will even call on the weekends. Even though he is busy, I think he is excellent. He is busy and sometimes you have to wait as much as 45 minutes to an hour.

Called office for emergency appointment, Dr was able to see me right away. Had a severe headache/stiff neck since waking up, by the end of the work day it was really bad and I couldn't turn my head. He diagnosed muscle tension headache and something I can't pronounce, LOL. He gave me a prescription that wouldn't make me sleepy or feel "dopey" that worked really well. His hours are great and he has always given me an appointment the same day when I'm sick. I have really lousy insurance that doesn't cover office visits so he only charges me $40 since I'm a repeat patient which is cool.

Dr is very accomodating with scheduling emergency appointments, even on Saturdays. He doesn't use an answering service after hours, his office phone message gives his cell phone number which is amazing. Accepts both appointments + walk-in's so its really convenient with my work schedule. He usually answers the phone during office hours, it's great being able to speak with the Dr and not just a staff member. I have referred many people to him and they are all happy. He also speaks Spanish and English equally well. My insurance has a super high deductible and his prices for uninsured patients are really fair and he tries to save you money where ever he can, my friend has no insurance and she goes to him for a thyroid problem and it costs her a lot less than if she went anywhere else. Spends a lot of time with patients so sometimes you are in the waiting room past your appointment time but all Drs are like that. Office isn't fancy but the care is great; if he ever retires I don't know what I will do.
