Apaintworks.nycI highly recommend Paintworks and Decorating to anyone in the New York area looking for a reliable and high quality partner to complete a renovation project of any kind. I met Ricky and Ryan a couple times to discuss the scope and budget for the project. Their pricing was extremely fair and transparent. Most important, the bulk of the project had to be completed during a two week window while I was out of the country. I took a leap of faith that Paintworks would get the job done properly and on time without any in person supervision, and needless to say it paid off. As with any project, the last 5% took the most time to complete (not Paintworks' fault). Ricky and Ryan actively followed up with me on a daily basis until every single punchlist item was complete and I was 100% satisfied. My project included: *Removal and replacement of all interior doors, trim and baseboards *Stripping of ~100 years of paint from interior and exterior door frames *Design and build of custom radiator covers with build in storage *Wiring Cat6, Coax and FIOS throughout apartment *Moving and adding electrical outlets *Paint job on walls and ceilings *Misc. cleanup of ~100 year old apartment features to look brand new- Sam L.

ABROADWAY UPHOLSTERYRenny and his team are incredible, I brought them a very complicated job to re-upholster a couch with handmade fabric I created and they tackled the job excellently. Renny approaches projects with care and dedication, and he keeps you updated during the whole process. ABROADWAY UPHOLSTERYI was very pleased with the work that Broadway Upholstery did on six backed barstool chairs. They offered me various options to replace the bonded leather that was starting to peel, including a less expensive option of some good looking vinyl. In the end I did pick the more expensive option of real leather, and the work they did was excellent. They also refinished the legs of the stools and improved the stability of the seats, so in fact the stools now look like they are brand new.- Jessica T.

ABURNER KINGBurner King came highly recommended to me from our neighbor and although we didn't use them for our gas conversion, I WISH we had! They were more affordable and I know they would have gone out of their way to get the job done right and ON TIME! Burner King is well known for their conversions for a reason, and I regret not signing with them. We ended up hiring a plumber that we had used in the past, which has taken longer and has been more stressful than it would have been with Burner King. When I was ready to pull out of my other contract, I contacted Burner King and spoke with Toni-ann, who did everything in her power to reassure me and walk me through the process. ABelgrove Appliance IncManufacturer of my high-end stove wanted me to wait potentially weeks to respond to a repair covered under the warranty (leaking gas valve!). Spoke with the owner, Carlita, about an emergency repair service call. Belgrove was responsive, fast and performed the repair in under one hour, not weeks. Yes I paid out of pocket, but safety first. AThe first time, he came on time and tried to repair the leak, but the following week it was leaking. He came back again, tried to fix it, but once again it started to leak. Yesterday, he came back again with a plumbing fixture. Every time, he has been thoughtful and caring. Also cleaned up the area. I would definitely hired him again. Very happy with his work ethic.

DI could not understand a word the salesman said. He charged me $50.00 just to come and look at the chair. The price he gave me to fix it I thought was high and on top of that an additional $50.00 service charge was added. Most places if you do the work they deduct the service charge. Very disappointed and had to pay $50.00 for nothing!!!
