    We had a laundry pump break that, combined with a crack in the concrete floor, had created mold in the finished basement. This situation was complicated by the fragile health of a family member who was suffering with an acute respiratory condition, a problem which could have become much worse if the mold was allowed to migrate upstairs. American Mold Solutions was contracted to handle the job based on George's impressive understanding of the work as well as the physical needs and concerns of the family. As the work progressed, it became evident that, in addition to mold remediation, he was extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of home repair and construction and, if he didn't feel completely expert in any one skill, had no trouble finding the perfect person for the job. When something went very wrong (a corroded hot water pipe burst,) George came, handled it with ease and quickly got the best plumber he knew to make the repair. Throughout the course of the job, the value I placed in his opinion continued to increase, as did my gratitude. I know of few people I feel worthy of admiration, respect and trust. George is easily deserving of all three.

    I contacted a couple of contractors to get estimates on both a first floor full size bath and a 2nd floor 1/2 size bath that I was looking to extend into a partial wasted closet space in order to add a shower. After a few consultations, I decided that I would need to hold off on the upstairs conversion, since the design ideas and the estimates received were all over the place. I focused on getting the downstairs bath done. I chose Statewide once Juan (the owner) was willing to work with me in order to ensure I had limited access to use the shower, since it was the only one in the house. His team made sure for the 1st few days of the project that plastic was placed around the shower area, so that it was usable.
    I had some concerns about the type of tiles used that the quality would not hold up under constant use, but Juan convinced me that they would and had used them on several other projects. I was hesitant, but Juan ensured me that if there was an issue he would take care of it, so I went with what he suggested. They do look good in the room. There were some grout issues, but again Juan ensured me if there was any problems he would fix.
    The team did everything possible to protect my home by covering doors, floors and furniture, and they made every effort to clean up each night as well as when the project was completed.
    There was an unexpected small nuance once the foundation was opened: a small leak in the sewer pipe behind the wall which was patched up.
    While Juan and team were finishing up this project, I alerted him to a smaller project I wanted to have fixed in my basement. The portion of the sewer pipe in the basement had all kinds of additional pipes that flowed to it that were hanging low or attached at awkward angles. I also wanted to change the very old pipes that were attached to the washing machine and move it over so that the dryer could fit next to it. The dryer had been diagonally opposite it making it a bit uneasy and taking up space where it was at.
    Juan came back a couple of weeks later changed the portion of the sewer pipe in the basement, replaced several other pipes, added a washer box for the laundry faucets, and replaced my utility sink with a new one I had brought. The end result looks great.
    Overall, I am satisfied with both jobs. Well done!

    We had water damage through our ceiling, walls, and carpet from plumbing issues in the unit above ours.  We used their email contact on sunday afternoon indicating non-emergency and they called us sunday evening to setup an assessement the following morning. 
    Someone came out got the insurance claim information and looked at the damage and what would probably need to be done.  Then a team of 2 men came out in the early afternoon and tore down the ruined ceiling and insulation and parts of the walls to faciliate drying.  They were very conscientious about how they approached this in order to minimize damage while allowing fast drying.  They removed the wall to wall carpet and pad which was soaked.  They brought in industrial air movers and dehumidifiers which were quite loud but very effective.  The told us they would need to run for at about 5 days to get everything dry.  During this time they stopped by 2 or 3 times to assess the drying process and make adjustments as necessary.  They did a great job cleaning up and after the demo portion and again after removing all the equipment.  They turned our unit from a stinky wet mess to a normal unit missing sheetrock.
    All of the billing was handled between servpro and our insurance company which was great for us as it removed much of the headache that occurs in these situations. 
    We were very happy with the results and I was so happy that we contacted them immediately upon finding the damage instead of waiting for insurance estimates/evaluation as that can actually reduce the claim value as it can be considered negligence.

    I can't rate them high enough. They helped me after I got flooded. I can't tell you what a Godsend he was after having our house almost destroyed. They are punctual, they are very polite, they are professional, they are courteous. They clean up just beautifully. By the time they got done with my flood I could operate on my floor, it was pristine. They were phenomenal. They did mold remediation and took all the walls and floors down to the studs and cleaned it and vacuumed it and put it all back.

    They left the house a mess.  They left the fridge full of the same food that was in there since the day of the fire on April 10th.  We moved into our new place on May 31, 2012.  The cats dirty litter was still there. Something told me  to check the dishwasher, they left some of my silverware in there.  There were area rugs that were dirty and left there.  I went upstairs to check our shower in the master bedroom and found rugs, wash cloths and bottles of shampoo that they never got rid of.  Plus, at  our new place the day they made the delivery, I asked them what about their covers that they put on our furniture and they told us when you are finished unpacking they will pick them up in a few days.  After they left my husband and I noticed that they left a big table that said "living room" and they did not carry it upstairs to the room.  My husband, daughter and I put the beds together.  I am 60 and my husband is 63 and they left us to do this on our own among other things we had to carry ourselves, we have a three floor town house with lots of stairs.
    We called the company and we complained to the supervisor of the project manager.  He did not even show up at the move, they said he has other projects to do.  His supervisor referred us to another project manager.  She told us she was very sorry and would investigate the matter.  She offered to have them come back and she would supervise them.  This woman was there when they moved our stuff out of the old town house and yet the place was left a mess.  We no longer felt we can trust them to even put our beds together and anything else.  We thanked her for the offer, but turned her down.  She told us she interviewed the five men and fired only one of them.  They all should have been fired.  My husband and I found the one thing we could not do is put a table top  on our dining room table.  My husband said that they got paid through our renters insurance for certain things they did not do, so we called them to put the top on the table and to bring up the table for the living room.  They did it.  But they had left some damage to the some of the furniture and some parts were missing.  We called the project manager and she was very arrogant. She finally came over and looked and took pictures and paid us $300.00.  She asked my husband for a sum he was looking for, my husband said $300.00 because he threw away one of the damaged tables.  But he also wanted to be done with "Servpro". She mentioned she would call a furniture store regarding a broken wood piece for a mirror.  Have not heard anything yet.   I WOULD NEVER, EVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN NOR DO I RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!!!!   They do not have any integrity, respect and are not honest.  The original project manager never cleaned the chinaware and have it rewrapped and his promise to take care of all the clean up at the old town house was one big lie!!! 

    This company continues to lie.  As I can see by their response to my complaint against them.  There was no miscommunication only lies and unprofessional work by this company.  My husband did give an all 10 rating at first, because the man that gave him the paper was standing over his shoulder.   This was also  before we realized they lied about putting our beds together.   I am glad that "Angie's List" has given me an opportunity to give them the proper rating, "F" across the board!!   The refridgerator they stated was not working is a lie.  It belongs to our landlord.  I called the project manager at 10:15pm at night on a Friday because I thought I would get her voice mail and I did not wish to speak to her again.  As I stated before, if you unfortunately find yourself involved in a fire, run if you see anyone from "SERVPRO OF FREEHOLD" they are truly a disrespectful and dishonest company.

    I called Servpro because I had a sewage back up. This was on Christmas eve. They came right away and started working. They cleaned the sewage and got rid of the smell. I would definitely use them again. They offered a very fair price.
