We have an inground liner pool and, in the summer of 2013, we realized that water has been leaking at about 1/4" per day. Since it was already toward the end of the summer and the water temperature was getting colder, we decided to hold off until the next summer to have the problem fixed.  When we opened the pool in 2014, there appeared to be some water loss but it wasn't as bad as we thought. It seemed that the water loss has stopped once it hit a certain level of the pool.

After having worked briefly with another pool company with questionable billing practice, I contacted Levco in July 2014. I spoke with the Service Manager who was helpful on the phone.  I explained the situation to him and he was prompt to send a technician over to take a look.  The service that I signed up for included pressure testing of all lines and inspection of the liner (with diver) and other contact points to the liner e.g. steps and lights.

A technician showed up and he was pleasant, helpful and seemed knowledgeable.  Unfortunately, the good feelings kind of stopped at that first visit.  Throughout the course of the next month and a half, we've had numerous phone calls, email exchanges, and visits from Levco (to their credit) but the water problem not only persisted but it got worse.  Other technicians have shown up, marked water levels, re-tested water lines, capped more lines, inspected and re-inspected steps & faceplates, put epoxy around steps etc. Every time we called, they were responsive but seemed to just repeat the same drill every time without actually getting to the heart of the problem.

Levco Pools is professional on doing the estimate as well as the liner replacement work. My wife and I love their work. The only complaint I had is that the lady who I talked to on the phone was always worrying about the payment but not their job quality. After Levco put on the new liner and filling the water, every time I call her, her first word would always be "where is your payment?" I was like: your work is not finished yet, and you don't ask how the work is done what the quality is but keep asking me to pay you?!

The guy from Richie's Pool Supplies & Service did a good job and he wasn’t expensive. The job took him two days instead of one which is okay but he had to come back and check a few things periodically and he never called us. The communication wasn’t all that great but he did a very nice job installer the liner for my pool.

The textured  concrete product was applied very late in the season - and that night the temperature dropped to 25F.  I suspect this is not within the acceptable parameters of this product's application, since this temperature caused micro-fissures along the entire deck surface- and in one section there are large deep cracks that I am afraid to walk on.  I've written letters and called - voicing my concerns about freeze-thaw cycles and the long term durability of the deck - and an entire season went by.  I have not had a site visit yet.  I stopped in the shop in December 2011 (figuring it was the slow season and I could get some of their time) and was told they would check it out but they had not. I stopped in last week (June 2012) and was asked to wait 2-3 weeks for a proper visit since the season is busy.  Really?  Also, I was very happy with the liner repair... except that I wanted to install an aquador so I don't have to worry about rising water levels during winter rain.  The threads on the skimmer plate screws were stripped, and since the aquador fits on to it's own skimmer plate, it can only be installed once the existing plate is removed.  I really like the shop overall but I feel like my concerns have not been taken seriously and that the responses have not been punctual or professional.  I'll still buy chemicals but will think twice before using them for big projects.

Levoc was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend them. They were very punctual, professional and responsive to all of our needs. They identified problems before we pointed them out and addressed them without us needing to ask. Also, using them to coordinate all of the work and thus having one point of contact (Peter) made the entire project stress free. They worked in all weather conditions to complete the job as quickly as possible.

I am now trying to get them to replace it. At first they were trying to say it wasn?t their pool, but I showed them pictures to prove it was. It would have been nice for them to send someone out to look at the pool.
