    Rye Eye Care
A 5 Star Review by Rebecca Antinozzi I have been going to Dr. Bloom for 20+ years and have known him on a personal level since I was a child, as he was my neighbor for many years. Dr. Bloom and his staff are super personable and friendly. They always go above and beyond, not only performing preventative exams but testing for glaucoma, cataracts and other macular degeneration diseases. They have a wide range of up to date frames in office to accommodate any price range and fashion. From the moment you check into the office, you feel welcomed and never intimidated. Rye Eye Care explains each step of your eye exam in detail and makes you feel at ease. Dr. Bloom has a caring, calm demeanor and takes his time with each patient. The office is very organized, clean and practices excellent communication with all details of their business. Rye Eye Care provides the highest level of service and Dr. Bloom is an expert in his field. I highly recommend Dr. Bloom and Rye Eye Care to anyone looking for a family oriented, friendly, professional ophthalmologist.

    North Jersey Eye Care Center
Dr. Mackey does not like to answer questions or address issues beyond the basic eye exam. I mentioned having eyes that tear often on the intake form and during the exam and left without the issue being addressed.

    Eye Associates Of North Jersey
Seemed competent, staff seemed friendly Do not pay cash - they do not account for cash payments (it disappears - really?) My wife paid the copay paid cash did not get the receipt (her bad) but what do they post the cash received to? She spoke to the office and they promised to take care of it. After months of the threatening collection for $15 copay - just paid and learned our lesson. SO DO NOT PAY CASH!!!!!

    Brown Eye Care Associates
Liz the office manager is the nastiest, vulgar, uneducated disgraceful thing you can find. She shout over the phone instead of explaining my bill, did not allow me to talk staying, "I don't have time to listen". Wrong poor choice of profession. I still don't understand how this thing of repugnant manager still works at this office. Mine is not the first negative review , I am sure they hare loosing patients to the vulgarity of this manager, and now I understand the poor personal retention at the front desk, a new face every time. I guess she treats everyone the same. After many years I will not come back to Dr. Brown's office.

    Ophthalmic Physicians of Monmouth
Dr. Jason Steinfeld did cataract surgery on my eyes and told me he did "glaucoma work" right after each one. He badly messed up my eyes with this glaucoma work. I didn't even have glaucoma at the time. He took care of that years earlier with laser. He caused damage to the inner parts of my eyes and would not admit he had done something wrong, I waited months before he told me to go to Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia. There they had to do high risk surgery to save my eyes because Steinfeld had caused Malignant Glaucoma. I paid $1000. cash myself and spent months thinking I might go blind. My left never completely recovered. Steinfeld was rude and bullying and calling me "hysterical" when I told him something was wrong with my eyes after he worked on them. I kept all my medical records. At Wills Eye Hospital they told me that it been too much longer, they would not have been able to help me. Steinfeld could have admitted he caused damage and referred me right away but he did not. The corrective operations done at Wills Eye Hospital were called Vitrectomy operations which could have resulted in blindness because they were such high risk.

    Park Avenue LASEK
After having LASIK done 10 years ago, I recently began experiencing a reduction in the acuity of my left eye. Upon exploring updated laser eye surgery techniques, I found Dr. Chynn's Park Avenue LASEK office offering just what I was looking for. An updated, modern and safer procedure often with better results. Dr. Chynn had me go through two contact lens trials just to ensure I will be comfortable with the new post-surgery prescription. He and his staff have been clear and meticulous in informing me of each next step with exceptional attention to detail. After the final round of testing, I am going in for the procedure tomorrow and am looking forward to seeing clearly with uncorrected vision again. I wish more doctors offered this level of care and information and to their patients!

Focus Eye Health and Vision Care
THIS IS BORDERLINE FRAUD. I rarely write review but this is just beyond imagination. This week I did my eye exam (which was great) here and ordered a pair of 1.74 Zeiss SV lenses with Duravision Platinum coating and did not see the "Z" marking on my lenses. Asked why and was told Zeiss no longer provides marking on SV lenses (which is clearly not true per their website and I also just ordered another pair elsewhere recently). I then requested to some Zeiss certificate and they gave me some shipping document from NASSAU OOGP (another manufacturer) with prices etc. all crossed out. I asked and it turned out they DID NOT GAVE ME WHAT I ORDERED AND PAID FOR. Their explanation was that ordering high index lenses from Zeiss will take longer and they just want me to have my eyeglasses ready quicker so they gave me something that's "same quality". Wow how nice, or should i say how preposterous! To fully disclose, I provided my own frame and lenses cost me $329. I paid $247 and the rest goes to insurance. I don't know how much it costs them to order from Zeiss (and it's not my business to care) but I can confidently assume that their "replacement" they gave me costs way less. To be fair they did say that they will this time order from Zeiss for exact what I want and paid for. I am just glad that I kept all the paperwork and I will see how this goes and follow up. I really wish I could give them the benefit of the doubt that they really weren't trying to fool me. However they did give me Zeiss card and cleaning cloth, trying to make me believe that it's from Zeiss, and only told me oops sorry after I demanded proof. I don't want to accuse them for thing I don't know, but I will just say, I don't think an average customer would have this level of scrutiny. This is by no means a result of miscommunication. I understand that businesses are undergoing hardship during current pandemic but honesty should still be help up to. I was so disappointed because I have read good reviews and Dr. Feldbaum-Smith has been great, and such fraudulent (I hate to use this word) just makes me both surprised and sad.
