    I normally do not write reviews but this was such a bad service i had to. Well actually there was no service done because he came by and barely checked my fridge and said the problem was the door. i PAID for the service fee and he informed me that estimate will be sent in a day or two. I called after a few days and he said that he will let me know "by tonight"...tonight never came and never received a call... don't bother coming back. I will contact someone else that will actually perform the job. My fridge is still broken and i am out $75 dollars!!!!

    ACS came at the scheduled time. The technician was courteous and knowledgeable. He explained what the problem with the stove was in a manner that I could understand. The stove is now working like a charm. Just in time for the holidays!

    mike called before he came as a courtesy which was a good first impression. he arrived a few minutes early which was also a good impression. he was a professional...courteous, sincere, (friendly to my labrador) and trusting. it was a pleasure to have him at my home.

    I was delighted with the service. Danny was easy to contact, came to my home when he said he would, and was very nice. He quickly diagnosed the problem with my refrigerator and made the necessary repair for a reasonable cost. I kept thinking the fridge would quit cooling again, but a month later everything is still working perfectly. His repairs work and he saved me from having to purchase a new fridge. I'm a happy customer.

    I called Danny's Appliance Service after finding him on Angie's List over the Memorial Day weekend after my washing machine broke down. He returned the call within the day and we set up a morning appointment on 5/26/15.  
    It went well; Danny was able to make it within the time frame he said and was done within a half hour. I tried to give him as much information as I could when we talked and he was able to diagnose it as a broken belt quickly when he arrived.  We worked together to try to figure out the parts number as it was worn off on my machine. He had the part on his truck and repaired it quickly, probably less than 10 minutes. The machine worked fine afterwards. 
    He also said my machine was going to last maybe another year, so at least, I got a heads up. I appreciated the honesty, he was nice and professional. I would call him again and recommend him to others.

    Gus was fabulous.  He called me a few days before our agreed upon date of service to confirm that I still wanted him to perform the work and purchase the materials.  He then called me the night before the scheduled service date to give me an arrival timeframe and he arrived promptly as promised.  He and his assistant were very precise, worked very efficiently and cleaned everything up before leaving.  All is in great working order and I have already recommended him to a friend.  Gus even placed a follow-up call to me the next day to make sure everything was working and as expected.   You will not be disappointed if you hire Gus!

    On Saturday morning, I noticed that my refrigerator stopped working.  I went on Angie's list and picked this provider based on all of the positive reviews.  I called him at about 10:00 AM that morning and he was at my house within the hour -- how's that for great service!! The refrigerator was fixed quickly and for an excellent price.  Also, they were very professional.

    I purchased a "repair special" and didn't learn until I had purchased it that the repair service was located in theBronx and the repair was needed in Clifton, NJ.  When the repair service responded, I asked if there was a problem with the service needed in New Jersey and was told no.  It took over 2 weeks to schedule the repair.  When the repair was made, I was not there, but the person who was there called me and told me that there was an additional charge.  I authorized it (I had left a blank check with the person), but stressed that I wanted a copy of the repair bill for my records.  I have made three requests to the repair person, and still have not received it.   My disappointment isn't with the repair that was done, but rather with the difficulty making an appointment and the lack of response for the copy of repair bill.  In the future, if responding to any of Angie's "specials", I will first ascertain the location of the service provider before purchasing it.

    On an otherwise quiet Thursday evening just before bedtime I heard what sounded like a creek in my kitchen.  When I went to investigate, there was water leaking out of our refrigerator door and a sizable puddle on the floor.  I was able to locate the water tube to the ice maker which has a shut-off valve but with a family of six in the middle of a heat wave I knew I would needed a quick fix. 
    I went straight to Angie's list and found Danny''s Appliance Service.  I called around 10:30pm thinking I'd leave a message with his answering service.  Danny answered.  He was up front about the price of a home visit right off the bat which I liked.  He came out the next day, diagnosed the problem as a broken ice maker pulled a brand new one he had in his truck, installed it in about 30 minutes and I wrote a check.  So it took about 14 hours from learning of the problem to fixing it.  
    I have no idea whether this was a fair price since I know nothing about refrigerators and I didn't bother to shop around.  All I know is that I had a problem on Thursday night and this guy handled it promptly and efficiently... and I got to start my weekend without it hanging over  my head.  He will be my first, last, and only call for any appliance issues in the future.
