    I had to wait an extremely long time to talk to someone in customer service. No matter what number I called, I ended up in the same place with a long wait and no actual help. Even the chat people were no help because they sent me back to the same phone number. My experience with the chat room was totally unacceptable, but once I finally got a hold of a live service person, everything was great.

    We hired RW Electronics to install our household alarm system, 22 years ago, after a friend gave us a great referral. We use RW Stuart Electronics monitoring station service as well. Cost and service are second to none.  At one time we looked into Comcast?s alarm security package, because it was presented as a so-called ?bundle deal.?  Well, it was a bundle alright ? a bundle of money! Any time I refer RW Stuart Electronics to neighbors and friends, they?ve thanked me. One of the very few, long-lasting, and stellar service relationships our home has benefited from.

Many customizable features, including auto reminders at specific time(s) to set alarm if you've left your house without activating (i.e., forgot to set when leaving for work at 7 am, reminder can be programmed for 7:20 and will send a notification to your cell/email). Many other capabilities/features.

    I've had my FrontPoint system for over a year and am very satisfied with its performance. The installation was a breeze - open the box, follow the instructions peel/stick all the sensors and call to activate the system. I installed everything myself and was up and running in less than an hour.
    The interactive monitoring (through alarm.com) is excellent.  I like that I can monitor all the activity in my home from my iPhone or online.  This comes in handy, not only in the event of an intrusion, but also for everyday activity-tracking.  I know when the babysitter comes and leaves my home, if I've left any doors ajar, and whether I forgot to arm the alarm.  Recently, I've been having work done on my house and the added security of being able to track in real-time when the workers were entering/exiting my house (door sesnsors) and which rooms they were entering in my house (motion sensors) gave me an added sense of security knowing that the workers were staying confined to the areas of the house they were working on.  The ability to have them call to have me arm and disarm the system from my phone was also invaluable.  These are things that are not typically possible with conventional alarm systems.  
    The customer support team at FrontPoint is top-notch.  I never dred having to call if I need anything - I wish I could say the same about my other service providers. I can always expect to get a  live friendly support rep almost immediately and know that I will be treated like a valued customer and my questions will be answered thoroughly and accurately.  I did have a couple issues with my system's radio receiver. The AT&T signal in my area wasn't very reliable and was causing occasional false-alarms to be reported.  The support team was very helpful and resolved my problem immediately by shipping me a T-Mobile radio receiver (for free), and agreeing to pay for any fines I might have incurred from the false alarms (I never incurred any fines).  I believe the way they handled the issue was stellar and above and beyond what most service providers would have offered.  I didn't have to twist their arm, they just stood by their product and resolved the issue. Everything works flawlessly now.
    The monitoring service is also very good. I have had the alarm go off by itself a couple times (due to leaving a window open and the curtain triggering the motion sensor).  The monitoring center calls almost immediately after the alarm is tripped and has the same friendly demeanor of their support staff.  Their friendless and professionalism puts you at ease during a moment that could be very stressful (your alarm just went off!).  Although none of my alarms have been due to an intrusion, it's good to know that they have my back in the event of a true emergency.
    If you're looking for an affordable/expandable/portable system with stellar features and support, you can't go wrong with FrontPoint.  I've recommended them to many of my friends and those who have FrontPoint systems feel the same way I do.  I am very particular about technology and am 100% satisfied with the product and service that FrontPoint provides.

    Researched alarm companies and their products. Lifeshield (neé Ingrid) was a great match until I read their terms. I shook my head, disbelieving that I comprehended the terms as written and sent it to 2 different attorneys. Each confirmed that the terms were "not something I would sign, if I were you". Left my initial report on Angie's List.

    Was contacted by Ms. Ata, wrote my comments, had the attorneys review them (I didn't have the nerve to ask one of them to take the time to write their comments), and sent my comments to Ms. Ata on 11/22/2011. No reply, acknowledgement, or even a "no thanks" from Lifeshield. I can only surmise that the company is not interested in a contract whose terms actually obligate them to perform the services for which the client is obligated to pay.

    Spent a lot of time researching companies and types of systems. I found the equipment of InGrid (Note: This company is now called Lifeshield and is based in Yardley, PA) to have some features not available elsewhere (Siren that sounds and alerts when your existing smoke detectors trip, eliminating need to buy multiple smoke/fire detectors from alarm company). I contacted the company and discussed many issues, selected the equipment, gave my credit card info, and received the contract to review and approve. That is where the experience went horribly wrong. I had 2 attorneys review the contract and was advised that I should decline the service because the contract afforded me no rights, and indemnified Lifeshield (InGrid) from virtually everything, including gross negligence committed by them (or their agent/assignee). Because I wasn't able to view the terms of service (contract) until after I had provided my payment info, I wasted several hours of my time. Had I had the chance to read the terms at the outset, I would have known that the terms were not acceptable to me.

    Need A Handyman Service, LLC
    I have used him for a variety of things - he has done anything that needs doing. His responsiveness is excellent; he came over a couple of times when I had little emergencies, and he came over that day. He does good work, and he does it reasonably and charges reasonably. He has fixed all sorts of different things for me over the last six months. I would rate him highly and would use him again in the future if necessary.
